DUDE, YOU ACTUALLY SAVED MY CAREER,TYSM.
Thank you! I have a 10 page research paper due in less than 4 hours and this really helped me!
still procrastinating and you're publishing papers?
Thanks for creating this excellent resource for students. It is clear, concise, and easy to follow.
Many thanks for sharing this video. It made formatting for APA (7th Ed) Professional Paper much easier to follow. I paused the video and formatted a blank word document to be my template. It was so clearly explained.
That is EXACTLY what I am doing??? I wish he would have gone over, what if your title is more than 50 characters
You're a genius. This is just what I needed! Thank you soooooo much💚💚
Hello Samuel, thank you so much the way you explained was so much easier than reading the formats.
Who else is here because they have a journal/research paper and they have not started until the last minute?
Dude, you are a LIFE SAVER!
Thank you for the detailed explanation. I was able to learn alot from you.

SO CLEAR
Gracias..!!
Thanks for sharing
thank you soo soooo muchhhhhhhh
Thank You! That's a great instruction :). Anyway I really cannot find the information where should I put acknowledgements (thanks for some organisations) to my professional paper? Should I put it in author note section or just before bibliography?
gracias
Thank you for the video. Is it also required to have levels in the discussion section with APA 7th edition? I will use levels in my methods section, as per usual, however, can I simply simply put several intended paragraphs in the discussion section? Also, is there a specific formatting for the right intend for the beginning of a new paragraph ?
Section headings in the discussion section are not mandatory, unless specified by the journal/organization you're submitting a paper to. They're usually a good idea, but again, not mandatory. If your discussion flows fine without section headings, that's probably okay. For indenting at the start of a new paragraph, I just press the tab key, which moves your text over a half-inch.
There are no subtitles (under the title on the title page) in the APA 7 guide. I don't know where you are getting that but it appears to be wrong. With that said I still appreciate the content and help. Still very useful.
This is great! But how do you get it to type from the center? When I put the author's name, I do hit enter twice and it starts on the left side, not the center
Thank you. Which would be needed for a PhD thesis? Professional or student?
That will actually depend on your university, so you will want to check with your graduate school/office. There are probably thesis/dissertation submission instructions on their website, which should specify all the required formatting.
Hi, sir, I wanna know can I use a law case in APA format, then how to do the citation?
Thank you so much.
Citing and referencing law cases is actually a little more complex. There's an entire chapter dedicated to it in APA Style Manual, so I'd suggest looking at one of the resources I list in the description (Purdue OWL, APA Style Blog, or the manual itself).
What font and size to use for running head.
Do we need to show the table of figure next to table of contents?
Do you have a template which include the headings formatted in Styles?
Is this the same as Business professional format for an essay?
What if your title is more than 50 characters? For example: Understanding Depression: Causes, Symptoms, and Treatments
RE: SPEED - If it is too fast, you can change the playback speed. Click on Settings (gear shaped icon), then playback speed.
Which page should the running head begin- after the title page or when the abstract begins? Our paper has multiple pages of acknowledgements and table of contents, etc. so I'm not sure where to put it. thank you!
The running head begins on the title page.
Thank you very much!
Hello. Do you have to put Author Notes on the cover page, if you don't have any?
Any element of the Author Note can be skipped if it's not needed or not applicable. That said, at minimum, you'll usually need a correspondence address, conflict of interest statement, etc.
sigh i could marry you !! Thank you so much for this video
I wish I could give SUPER HEARTS for this!!! ❤🩹❤♥
What is the best computer to buy for collage ?
Trina - I would ask your college for advice! or fellow students?
Do you have a guide for APA 7 Dissertations ?
Dissertation formats usually vary by institution, but leave citing open to each discipline. So check with your graduate school.
Hey can I give superscript 2 for my co author ? should i mention it anywhere next to the name ?
You only need to use superscripts if your co-author has a different affiliation than you. If the affiliation is the same, you can just list it out on the next line.
Where in the cover should the year go? Please.
APA Style does not specify needing to put a year/date on the title page of professional papers. If you need to, I think it'd be fine put the date on its own line below author affiliations.
@@APAStylebySam Thank you so much
Thank you sir ..but unnecessary full stops are coming in between sir
No table of contents?????????
How to mentions the authors when both of them are co-first authors
Well, you have to list one name before the other, so APA Style doesn't really specify IIRC. Flip a coin, go alphabetically, etc. Either way, you could include in your author note that both authors should be considered first authors and that an equivalent amount of work was done by each person.
when you are using google docs... :///
Thank you.
