    Lots of South Africans looking to immigrate to Ireland by the looks of things. If they are all like Bianca and Kade, then they will definitely be an addition to our country. Hope all is well in RSA.

      @@BiancaKade No sweat. Would recommend the Quay/Westport House/Croagh Patrick and the Silver Strand/ Ashleigh Falls, it’s all on the same road there. Glad to see you’re enjoying the country, you almost have seen more of it than I have at this point!

    As an Irish chartered accountant myself the opportunities at present are incredible and so is the money,even the jump in rates since i switched jobs last year is cray.

    Hi Bianca. Thank you for this informative video. I am a qualified CA(SA) currently in SA and was offered a job in Dublin however I am concerned about the salary, it seems too low. Can you please advise on an appropriate starting salary at the big 4 in relation to the living costs?

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  Рік тому

      Hi Priya - I know we are chatting separately on this - but for anyone in a similar situation - you can confirm if your salary is reasonable if you search your occupation on Glassdoor and select Dublin as the location 🤗

    Hi, I was just wondering if you know what the availability of jobs is like for someone who completed their Saica articles at a small auditing firm, because the audits I did were SME's and not listed companies, so I never gained that experience during my articles. Thank you.

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  11 місяців тому +1

      Hi there! There is quite a large base of small audit firms in Ireland and accross industries there is a need for Qualified Chartered accountants so don't think it will be issue finding a job. The biggest hurdle if identifying a company and job that will sponsor a work visa (if this is something you need). 🤗

    Hi there ! I know this probably is a silly question, but which did you sort out first ?Did you arrange your visa before applying for jobs or did you finalize a job before applying for a visa ?

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  Рік тому

      Not a silly question at all.
      You need to a job in order to get a visa to work in Ireland. So you will need to organise the job and then your company will sponsor your visa.

    Hi there,
    Can I get a job in Ireland as a newly qualified professional accountant (SAIPA) or is the SAICA designation a must?

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  2 роки тому

      I am sure there are job opportunities- the hurdle is getting a company to sponsor your visa (if you need one) but very possible.
      There are a couple of people who have asked this question on the South Africans moving to Ireland Facebook group. Maybe search SAIPA in the group and you can see other peoples posts and advice in the comments. Hope this helps!

      There are labour shortages in most professional fields in Ireland. The employment market is booming and salaries are amongst the highest in the world and still growing. The problem is that the cost of living is also very high, especially renting (there is an acute property shortage and consequent housing crisis). Good luck either way.
