crusaders put in a lot of work last year, can't wait to see how they do this summer!
This is some f*cking good drumming
When is Adidas going to start sponsoring Drum Corps?
0:55 2nd snare closest to the camera is wearing yeezy’s
Awesome! Thanks for this video, this is great.
I'm impressed by the learning of entire material. By the freshness.. though everything goes in same 4/4 temp
There are some parts that aren't in 4/4. The second movement has some 3/4. But yeah, most of it is in 4/4 because you have to march to it.
Third movement switches between 4/4 and 7/4
Boston drumline is such a beast🔥
C'est super cool la synchronisation !
That's incredible
3 months later and they were still nails
well done.
2:44 For those drumline lovers! :D
Play this at one and a quarter times normal speed until 7:00, then notch up to one and a half.
They were at my high school
God this line is so manly
My only complaint is lack of pit, 95% of the time you can't hear them, (maybe just because of room), and during that 5% when can hear them the camera isn't on them. 8:36-8:46 pit is actually playing something audible and cool and the camera is on a tenor doing nothing for ten seconds. Impressed with the quality of playing so long after the season as well, but not happy with video quality.
PASIC was in November of last year but I agree with the video complaint to an extent.
@@willsvidz4277 ooohhhhhh thank you
Colton Simmons agree there.
The video was almost 100% high battery. Didn’t see any Marimba during “Marimba Spiritual” :(
I honestly think it was how the battery was mic'd up. I couldnt see any microphones arount the front ensemble but battery was mic'd up. And with the battery so close to the pit I can see how the pit wasnt heard as much. It would've been a better upload on the vic firth marching channel, but I guess its a cool intoduction to marching percussion and dci for people who don't know about it.
That stick on stick....
Is it just me or is that a low ictus. 10:00
The different colored bottom 2 drums on the quints bothers me
Mike Contente its to help give a wider range of texture within the sounds of the drums. It may look weird but theres a reason to it.
Usually as a drummer, I dislike the vic firth stuff...This is very cool though!
Their products are obviously up to personal preference, but when comes to the media side of things, like these UA-cam videos, they do better than just about any other brand in drummer whether you're talking about stick brands or not. That's at the very least true for their marching arts videos. They regularly upload lot videos throughout both the DCI and WGI seasons, they upload videos of the finals runs of shows, and then every May and June they upload learn the music videos with the top DCI lines that they have using their sticks. Even if you're not a person who likes using Vic Firth sticks, it's pretty easy to say they top other brands' use of media.
@Caleb The artist they show are often boring or of no substance...As well 99% of them play matched grip...I have no respect for a matched grip drummer, unless it's Bonzo or Ian Paice or Neil...Just my opinion...
@@godbluffvdgg That's just asinine. If anything matched grip makes 10x more sense than traditional. Especially on a flat drum...
@@Z6D4C4 Neither grip is better though, it's just what you practice.
Are you a flatearther
My only gripe against BAC is their writing style for the drumline. They use waaaayyyyy to many splits in the upper battery and it kinda gets on my nerves. Also the constant 3’s and 4’s. I know I’m in the minority but BAC are still an amazing corp.
I personally think that upper battery splits make it better and shows how skilled they are
