i think im gonna mcnutt
HA
Sad
Wow the Cadets... ah... I mean Boston Crusaders are looking on point this year
Ben Davis Funny, cause some other videos they(tenors) look like SCV. And that is not a bad thing at all. These players are going to be bad ass this yeaR.
Smelly Web mcnutt did march scv so maybe that's part of it
That joke will never get old
Milo Johnson Yeah, he was on one of my favorite lines ever. Along with one of my top 3 shows ever. 1992 "Fiddler on the Roof" I got to see it 3 times. Judges didn't love it, but who cares what those tired people think? But their tenor line that year was SO fun to watch. The writing for the book was nice the whole way through. Colin is a beast.
the cadets snareline has the same hats but grey instead of brown...
To people saying they copied the cadets - it's a warm-up not a show. Multiple drumlines can play it
cadets had the same director as boston bruh
Basses are on point!!!
P
Got the Renaissance heads ! Lettin those quads sing. Thank the Lord
the last 30 seconds had me shook
4:50 "ohh hell yeah!"
Love basic strokes
haha at the end "woo, hell yeah!"
Milo Johnson because, HELL YEAH🤷🏾♂️😂
Sounding good! the bass line is grooving
Y’all should do some 360 degree type videos
THIS
Rip 0:41
Rezzy GamingYT yea whoever blew that attack is pissed at himself for sure. It's 8s, we all mess up and it's early but can't do that on 8s. Anyhow, very tasty as always.
Probably someone that practices this so much that it gets boring so on their off time they spice it up. But they had a brain fart for 2secs and thought they were on their bed on a Xymox. I thought it sounded good. Maybe they'll add it.
Smelly Web lol you a fool for that one. You know it didn't sound good hahahaha
buckdacious Maybe it didn't. I'm on medication right now so everything sounds good to me. If my dog farted I'd probably start dancing to the rhythm. Don't mind me.
Thought it was an awesome editing mistake at first... definitely not lol
This is so dope
Boston mcnutts.
Best of luck to Boston! I’m loving WSTF hung Davis on bass 5! Go BJD!
100 bpm is my sweet spot in this
everyone's lol
Dci needs to bring back murray gusseck and the old scv with tilted druns
After a while i finally got they cut the 8 notes down each 4 measures im stupid lol
Deja vu!
Lol I found who made the tick in the beginning of the video. But I love what Collin is doing with the line they are getting really good.
center quad looks like Noel Miller lmao
why is bass 4 always so serious
Basses got that cake
all the bois on the bass are thicc aff
What's the model name of the sticks the tenors are using?
Does anyone know the tenor configuration they use
Steve!!!!!
4:49
Bass 4 is lagging
I've been out for awhile. Let me guess: SCV instructor went to Boston?
Cadets instructor who marched with the SCV guy who wrote this played it at Cadets then went to Boston
@@RHG_Music And he marched in Boston. He’s a Boston native and marched with BAC for several years before going to SCV.
Cadets y’all better watch out. Boston’s comin
These boys are on a level right now. I think they are going to catch some big boys slipping this year.
I didn’t know Mike Boyd played snare.
Potato Tomato Productions He sure does
Murray gusseck’s basic stroke
Did they trade drum wraps with 2016 Madison? Lol
phcasper no wrap, that's a clear lacquer
why do the tenors have all the remo logos slanted to an 11 o clock position? i know it’s something boston has been doing for a while but i’m curious as to why
DrumlineFreak everybody has there own style. Some people put it all the way in the back
makes me uncomfortable ;)
*It's like when Hollywood remakes a superhero movie.*
Haha 0:41 someone came in early I think
What sticks are the snares and tenors using?
Colin McNutts
Shit escalated quick 😂🔥. Solid tho.
nice flowers, basses (0:55)
Ahh Boston Strokes
Hamza Khan 😂🤐🤔🤐😂
So where did all this talent come from? UMass? BAC? Cadets?
Florida lol
Texas
Who shit themselves in the snares on the 5’s?
Cadets lookin good this year
Cadets Crusaders
2:53
Sweaty warmup. I marched snare in 2006
Wow. The Boston Cadets I mean Crusaders are ready to contend.
Top 5 drum line easily
Lol who ticked in the beginning snares
Who else dies at up strokes?
Oh hey Cadets, didn’t see you there ;)
You got the title of the video wrong. These are the cadets
Angus Hsieh just call them the Mcnutts!
🎶💚👌🤐🤔Hello Santa Clara Vanguard 04 🥁 line 🤔🤐👌♥️🎶
look like cadets
Nothing wrong with the drumming but this is not a good looking set of drums... Different head colors on snares, quads and basses, the wrap/finish on the snares and quads don't match and the bass line uses dampening on the outside of the heads instead of on the inside.
These dudes deserved better!
This is spring training where aesthetics aren’t set in place yet. Snares switched to white heads by the time tour started. I’m pretty sure the finish/wraps between the snares and tenors looked better in later season. And weather stripping on the outside of the bass heads has been an east coast thing for decades - they prefer the sound of it over internal dampening.
Cadets
Very cadet
Cameron Leonard Yeah man, Collin McNutt works with the Battery there now.
Cameron Leonard BAC taking over the Cadets' place now hahah
Yea, but still, BAC is getting featured heavily on this channel instead of Cadets this year
GuyWhoDoesStuff it's still early bro, cadets will be on here too just like man others
Cameron Leonard this is an old Vanguard exercise.
Lol copying the cadets warm-up
You know SCV did it before Cadets right?
Marcos Calvillo plus the guy who wrote this works with Boston now 😂 I mean he worked with cadets 2 years ago but things change
I think this is a modified version of Basic Strokes by Murray Gusseck. Exercises get passed around from instructor to instructor, moves with instructors when they change organizations. I don't think a group really ever "copies" someone else in the rudimental drumming world.
Heyitsbacon yeah mcnutt, who was with cadets, aged out with murray gusseck who wrote this warmup
Murray Gusseck wrote the original exercise, not Colin McNutt from the casets
