- Vacation, relaxation and tons of yarny fun. This week has been amazing, I feel renewed and full of energy. I’ve even completed my second pair of socks for the year.

Grinch Christmas Ornament, Amigurumi, stuffed toy was made with JoAnn’s Big Twist Value yarn in the light green color. The cute little scarf was made with scraps of red and white cotton yarn I had on hand. The face was embroidered on using black Aunt Lydia’s crochet thread and scraps of yellow sock yarn. I did a running stitch for the facial features and a bullion stitch for the yellow part of the eyes.
The Monkey socks were made with Knit Picks Stroll and Heritage Print by Cascade. The yarns work beautifully together and are easy care.
The little grinches are adorable! By the time you do the eyebrows and the little tufts on top, all three will be an adorable set of little triplets. 😊
You know you are right, I didn’t put the eyebrows in yet. I hadn’t realized that but knew they didn’t look right. That is funny. Thanks for pointing that out.
So many beautiful makes.. oh my love the cable knit hat.. it definitely shows off the yarn gradient.. 🧶😘
The bright cable hat was a lot of fun to make. Whomever ends up with it should love it.

Love seeing your smiling face! I’ve been busy with life stuff and in doing that, time has slipped away. I don’t count my WIPS either. It’s all about the feels when I pickup a WIP. Have a wonderful week!! 🤗♥️🧶
As you can see I knit/crochet because it gives me joy. Putting a bunch of deadlines or self imposed goals would slowly make a dent in that enjoyment. Some items take a while to get finished, others have the yarn reused. Either way I’ve enjoyed the process at the time and in my book that’s a Win!

❤ good afternoon Shannon I hope you had an amazing week of vacation and a great 4th of July weekend! How is your Monday going? First day back to work. I really enjoyed watching your life over the weekend and looking at the beautiful rainbow and you are solar lights that are strung up on your fence on your property line!🌈 that is a beautiful pair of socks I love all the beautiful movement! Shannon you are not the only one who has to pull stuff out every once in a while. Some of us and I'm talking about myself look at things and think yeah that doesn't look right and have to frog it multiple times just because we don't like the way it looks! I don't read patterns so I have to watch tutorials because otherwise I would be lost?😮 wow that is a amazing hat Shannon I want to learn how to knit like that! My plan is to go back to knitting I am just learning so to try to get much better at knitting! Right now I know how to just knit and purl butt I will learned more eventually! Oh my gosh your Grinch is amazing! I think the things that make it the first one perfect or the eyebrows! That's the thing that's missing on the second and the third Grinch are the eyebrows! After you put the hair and the scarf eyebrows will make a huge difference!🎉 you did do a lot and a lot of amazingly beautiful stuff! Way to go Shannon!

Do I regularly clean the garage disposal with crochet hooks? No I don’t. Have I used one in the past to try to dislodge something? Yes, I have. It worked, the book was not harmed and the disposal was saved ❤️
