I had no idea who this girl is, and never heard of her album. Only after my typography teacher told us about her and showed us why her album cover is so genius with a 1 hour rant
That’s absolutely crazy, I didn’t realise you could sidechain reverb in Serum. I’m going to have to rewatch this a few times such a lot to take in. Awesome work L
Bro you're for real a beat savant, these production breakdowns are insanely insightful and always inspires me to go make some music, even when feeling unmotivated or going thru beat block. Sick to see you venturing out of your usual domain in the hip-hop genre and still kill it, love the versatility! Since you're interested in Charli's production I'll assume you like some hyperpop when done tastefully, and if so I really recommend you check out brakence's stuff, especially from his Hypochondriac LP! He merges so many distinct influences in such a rich and refreshing way, pretty sure you'd enjoy what he does and it would be amazing for you to tackle your take on his sound in one of these breakdowns! A lot of people would love to finally get a better understanding of the techniques behind what he does and none of the people attempting to make tutorials and breakdowns have really managed to really capture his vibe. Anyhow, thanks again for all the value you bring, recently copped your "layers" soundkits and they've also been a gamechanger, hope you'll keep sharing more of those too!
@@prodbyloner Cirkut's sound on Ke$ha's Warrior era: drops & glitch sounds, as well as the Die Young song by her❤❤ / flo rida drops, anything Max Martin in the 2010s specifically Your Body by Christina Aguilera and First Love by Jennifer Lopez❤
Its not giving charli I have to be so honest maybe try more indepth listening with harsher beats more hyperpopish and chopping up the vocals with bassed up autotune and harsh noise too and itll tie together
This is fire, she’s been one of my favorite artists for so long, glad she’s finally getting the spot light on her more experimental work
Yup she’s amazing!
This has been one of my fav tutorials
Thanks brooo
