They opened for some big names not sure what happened I guess bad promotion. They have some great songs to me just as good as the big names from back then. I'm working on adding more to the mix.
Thanks @themusicboxx8419 FYI- An authorized biography on the band & the twists & turns in their career on Virgin Records is in the works. Appreciate you! Pax
Banging tune! I used to hear it a lot on "98 Rock" here in Tampa in the early 80's. Those three quintessential power chords with the bass playing a static pedal point note is rock in roll heaven.
An old friend bought the album shortly after it's release. I took a listen and was hooked too went and bought the c-tape the next day. I plan on adding more to the mix.
Me to. This played on my local radio back in the day and then I saw that video and I was like, who the hell is that playing in the background? Total party tune. Another one for the rotation.
These guys were criminally underrated. They had some great albums man.
I grew up on this group, Shooting Star never got the credit they deserved
there is that ridiculous term again : criminally underrated
Agree with you bro 100%!!!...This band kicked ass!!!
The hell with it all for awhile
One of the most underestimated bands ever. They kicked ass.
These guys were amazing. So sad that they never got the exposure and air play of the others of that time period.

Great rock song
Should have gotten more radio play back in the day. To me just as good as any hit rock song from that time period. 🎸🔥
THANK YOU ... finally in good quality. It was really a much better time to live in so many ways. Arpund 2000 sadly, most music died.
Your welcome! Thanks for taking a listen.
Great album
One of the many power pop guitar bands that fell by the wayside thanks to MTV.
Could Shooting Star be a inspiration for Power Metal ?
