I 100% agree. I have never smoked a cigar and have no relation to the particular industry/lifestyle but somehow I fell myself strangely drawn to the content of yours especially with the Sahakians family. They really seem to be good hearted and humble people. I like that when people are not ego driven but have respectful freindly nature.
The man speaks so carefully he takes the term “choose your words” to a completely different level outside of mundane humans reach. He literally NEVER mis-speaks! I can really learn from men like this, they remind me of my grandfather and his generation of gentleman. Eddies a smooth ass dude, he’s definitely invited to the cook out 🙌🏾😂
his voice is a 10/10, but its his pacing and cadence that make him an expert orator and conversationalist. each word selected and placed just as it should be to construct a wonderful sentence that actually says and does what it means to in an eloquent manor none the less is just brilliant. i love Louis Theroux documentaries for the way he disarms people with words.
Haha totally agree,no shame in being a commoner though bro,I’ve probably used more profanities in less than two minutes then these guys have spat between the three of them in a lifetime lol
As a Marketing student I find these types of videos very insightful, showing how the product itself is only part of the experience. I think Eddie his father realise this more than anyone, it's about story telling (as demonstrated in their packaging and branding) craftsmanship, lifestyle, nostalgia, mutal interest, togetherness, and being a part of somethhing which (I imagine) feels almost magical as soon as you step into their shop. It's not just about the cigars but the experience as a whole, envoking emotion and establishing connection. Which Eddie and his father appear to be exceptionally good at, they are able to put themselves in the "shoes" of their clients very well. And the best thing about it, it's authentic, a great demonstration of Business and Marketing done right with the client in mind. Great content Kirby!
Very well said dude. Their utter genius marketing and salesmanship is in making you feel like you're in a special place, partaking in a special event and are, in fact, special yourself! But also like you said, I believe that they actually believe all of those things too, which makes it so wonderful. And if you know any Persians, you know that it is DEEPLY embedded in their culture to be immense hosts and to treat their guests like royalty. I've experienced in it many times and even being with refugees who receive £35 a week to live off are able to make you feel very special. I run a business that focuses on what my ideal client wants out of the service, and it has been easy to close deals because of this. When you know your customer and talk to them about their problems and what they'd want in a service, it's easy to sell to other customers of the same profile. The Sahakians understand the desire for exclusive, special experience!
I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie Sahakian in London. By luck I saw him locking up the shop at 6pm and knocked on the door asking if I could take a picture. Eddie was shocked that somebody would notice him an I was a bit starstruck. Such a gentleman he is, we talked about cigars and the importance of family. I was told by my father to visit the shop in London like he used to decades ago. Meeting Eddie was a very nice experience he is a very genuine and polite man. Honestly, I can't wait to visit the shop again and hopefully talk to him again! 😃
I beg to disagree. Respect and manners cost an ungodly amount of time and effort to learn, practice, and perfect. Nonetheless, watching and learning from Kirby and these fine gentlemen is pure joy.
The respect shown between father and son is such a delight to watch. Thank you Kirby for offering such a great insight into the world of Davidoff and the charming Sahakians.
I know this is a year old now but at the 12:10 mark The way Eddie's smile drops and the sincerity with which he thanks Kirby and tells him his opinion means a lot to them is so heart warming, the Sahakians are such gentlemen
I absolutely love these videos. The reason why I watch them most often is because I was born into poverty and it triggered an innate fascination with the finest things in life. I set out to build my own business and many more and so far I am succeeding steadily and consistently. The videos here reflect my future ambitions and ideal life.
Listening to Mr.Sahakians is not just about the cigar, i’m actually learning life lessons among other things. And i’m in my 40’s, never stop learning and growing especially when listening to Mr.Sahakians! ❤️🇺🇸
What an excellent Christmas present to end the day. The best videos on this channel are these 3 gentlemen together, conversing and sharing interests for one another. Thank you Sahakians and thank you Kirby for the video. All the best for '22.
Another outstanding video Kirby. Well done! You and the Sahakians are a wonderful and refreshing partnership. I hope to see many more in future. All the best for 2022. Blessings.
I'm so grateful for this video and it would be great to have a series visiting the Dominican republic with the Sahakian and Max learning about the tradition and different stages that go through making the cigar
As I watched this video, Edward's cigar ash is holding on for its dear life as he waves his arm around in conversation. Truly an impressive cigar to handle the way Edward speaks. Great video!
When Edward Sahakian is smoking a cigar, the cigar ash doesn't obey the laws of physics, it obeys the laws of the Sahakians. When we smoke a cigar, it falls on our lap immediately.
Always a pleasure to watch/listen to an episode with the Sahakian's, perfect manners and always soft spoken - tbh, I could fall asleep listening to them talk, it really is soothing for me. (definitely unintentional asmr, for sure)
Such an example of being gentlemen and proper conversation. I always enjoy your videos, especially those including the Sahakians. I hope to one day visit their shop and meet them in person.
These gentlemen are amazing to listen to and observe. I live in the Nottingham area, and will make it my business to visit the shop at some point when I eventually get to visit London again.
These videos always bring such joy, the great amount of respect & mannerisms towards each other are so heart warming. I wish great health to you all, and hope you have a great new year.
Absolutely phenomenal, gentlemen. I cannot think of a better way to spend the holidays than to watch this brilliant occasion while enjoying a fine cigar and beautiful Scotch myself alongside such auspicious conversation on the momentous 40th anniversary of the beautifully appointed shop that is Davidoff of London. Cheers and all honour to you all in this wonderful season of Christmas!
Love listening to these gentlemen. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how energy consuming it must be for men like this to constantly be maintaining such a proper and straight laced speech and body language. I'm a bit of a degenerate myself, so I could only keep that up for a few minutes at best.
how eddie looks at his father is a lesson for all of us , he shows show much appreciation and respect and love in his eyes towards his father edward i love it, ive recently lost my father and after not speaking for so many years i wish i got the chance to look at my father in this same way eddie looks at his more often.
Only recently started watching your videos. Really appreciate the decorum and class of your conversations. It would be a pleasure to visit Davidoff of London when I am next in London.
From 🇩🇴, very pleasant sit and see 3 authentic British 🇬🇧 gentlemen enjoying a product from the heartland of my loved country.... thanks for these great program good men !
A truly amazing video. I will never get tired of watching you enjoy company with the Sahakians. Especially with the company of a cigar. I absolutely love the stories you are able to capture from both Eddie and Edward. Please keep this up. Love from Wales
Spectacular episode Kirby… the conversations you gentlemen had was of a bygone era, the fast past life here in America is dismal. How I wish we all could just slow down, have a fine cigar and an equally dramatic dram of whiskey and just enjoy a great conversation amongst friends. Thank you Kirby for making my day…
I enjoy all of your videos Kirby but the episodes with the Sahakians are certainly up there as some of the best for me. Great to see you folks enjoying yourselves together in person. Cheers!
watching this for a second time. The level of respect that Eddie has in the way he speaks to his father is remarkable. I really wish more people would speak to their parents like that. "Allow me to bring this (the ashtray) to you." Of utmost respect.
Just finding these gems as I get back into smoking cigars. In the late 90’s I enjoyed cigars while living in Panama and traveling around Central America. Now living in Texas, and an adult in my mid-40’s, I find joy is amazing Texas wines and learning about cigars. Siboney Cellars makes an amazing wine, and an amazing cigar! Best of both worlds. :). Thank you, Kirby, for amazing content!
Those people seems lovely and the voices, charisma and wisdom of the Sahakians make me want to sit and listen to them for hours talking about their culture of fine cigars and spirits even though I know absolutely nothing to cigars and whiskey/Rhum... but if one day I want to introduce myself to cigars for some fine occasions... i'll drop by their shop for sure !
Another excellent segment Kirby. Your dialogue with the Sahakians is priceless. It is so great that you have crossed paths with them. In the 1990s and early 2000s, I did a lot of work on Pall Mall which is not too far away from the Davidoff shop and would stop in periodically. It is a really nice experience and recommend to anyone if they happen to be in London. If you know a member of the Royal Automobile Club and if they still allow smoking in that fine club, you might want to consider sharing a cigar with the Sahakians in that setting. Keep the great videos coming!
Another evening spent eavesdropping a great conversation with people who have a great passion and enjoyment for what they do! I also poured a whisky and savoured a Davidoff whilst listening. I thank you Mr Allison and Messrs Sarhakian for the interlude.
Edward's lovely story of how he started brings a tear to the eye ... his dream came true by chance, and now his son Eddie; the consummate gentleman, is adding his own sensational chapter to the story. Wonderful !

Just to say thank you, for the education, the time taken and pleasurable conversation. I'm here smoking my Romeo & Juilet no. 3 listening. Very rewarding indeed
I can listen to the Sahakians for hours. Thank you Kirby for the amazing content.
That's very kind of you to say John
They have amazing voices
Absolutely well said! I also could listen to them for hours they embody the quintessential gentleman.
What do they say of importance?
I 100% agree. You can tell Eddie is incredibly intelligent, and a great salesman. Watching how he engages with every subject in these videos is a joy.
Yeah you'd spend way too much with him smoothly guiding you along in the shop.
The man speaks so carefully he takes the term “choose your words” to a completely different level outside of mundane humans reach. He literally NEVER mis-speaks! Much appreciated Damien
I beg to disagree. Respect and manners cost an ungodly amount of time and effort to learn, practice, and perfect. Nonetheless, watching and learning from Kirby and these fine gentlemen is pure joy.
Respect and manners is something you are taught and learn from your parents this Father and son Duo is a perfect example
