I'm not Korean...but it would be nice if they could have fun together like this. It's sad to see any group of people, especially two countries so tied by heritage, so separated.
we have 7thflt. bombers on Okinawa AF. KadinaAF. MARINES on float. 3 ships. 3,500 MARINES × 3...get the point!!!..i tell you what, they want some, your getting AssWhop!!! 305thNVA got asswhoop!..3/5MAR. 😄...i do it AGAIN!!!.. SEMPER FI. BROS. RIP.CHEII .
I served a few years at Camp Page in ChunCheon, Red Cloud, and Casey in the 80's and later on North of Seoul. I think that the Korean People are awesome. My best wishes for a good future. Faith in God and not man will set us all free. "행운을 빕니다 형제"
This is such an *amazing movie*! Incredible dancers, hot moves, awesome setting and fantastic premise! Thank you so much for making and sharing this! Pure win. ;)
I'm a Haitian-American teaching English in Jeju, South Korea. It's pretty cool to see this video from here. A dance off would solve many of our political problems in the world. lol
I've been to the DMZ before and this set looks EXACTLY like it! I think lighthearted videos like this put a nice spin on the whole conflict. There's enough morbid material out there.
From what I'm told, the reason they have two guards staring at each other, is to make sure one doesn't try to cross the border and North Korea has a third guard with his back to the border to make sure no one tries to leave the country.
This video should go to the original UA-cam files I remember this video being new in 2006 and watching it for the first time so much memories I missed the 2000's
Lord help us! These comments....face palm. Stupidity is whats dangerous to this world. Omo And everyday another city (in the US) votes to cut funding for schools. Face palm again. South Korea is awesome full of talent!
Aw man!!! The first song was like the jam to get us crunk when it was time to battle back in the day!!! The last song brought big time memories also and this clip was off the hook! The breakers were on point for sure!!! A great concept! You even had the background exactly like the real thing! 5 stars and this goes into my favorites for sure!!!
I guess some people are just that gullible.... it even says the credits for the f**king film and the ACTORS. And if that didn't give it away, then the cinematography from the North Korean side especially should have given that shit away... #@%! On a side note, it'd be hilarious if they bullshitted around like that hahaa
This was awesome..it should be played on CNN & some other stations to ease the tension. I bet 1/2 the country has never seen anything like this before... Nice vid bro.
Mad props to the boys who made this vid. excellent bboy skills and a great point of view on life on either side of a line that defines nothing about the inner soul.
Read the description :-) Filming Location: Cheol-won Gun, Gyongi-do, Republic of South Korea - the same film-set as the film 'JSA/Joint Security Area/Gongdong Gyeongbi Guyeok' (2000, 110mins)
There's a thing I've always wondered. May be a stupid question, but do the people of North Korea REALLY consider Jong-Il (as well as his dad) to be a "dear leader", or do they please and obey out of pure fear of being "silenced"? Either way, it's pretty scary and horrible.
or...from my other understanding... the dmz divides the two koreas in half, and theres nothing but thousands of mines, forests, and bout it... and if one crosses, the other is alowed to attack
There's no wall there. It's actually a fairly good replication of Panmunjeom, other than the misplaced Peace Pagoda on the South Korean side. The soldiers don't stand between the conference buildings like that as a rule (especially the ROK soldiers), but it's a hilarious video. Someone must have visited the DMZ or seen a lot of photos to get this degree of accuracy. Love it--well done.
Classic and classy video. I like the fact that it incorporates N. Korea and S. Korea coming together. Hip-Hop has destroyed lots of hatred and hostility to bring individuals of different walks of life together all over the world. What started in the "hoods" of America has transcended space and time in less than 30 years.
Actually ive just visited where this was filmed. the place was actually made as a movie prop a little while back but now its pretty much just a tourist attraction located in tthe middle of no where in some mountains outside of seoul. if the camera was turned around you would see something that looks like a village of old korean houses and huts that were also part of the movie props than a museum
this is my second tour in korea and when i saw this video i loved it. poshko41 is right, there is enough morbid stuff out there to make anyone depressed. good shortie.
Yeah, its a movie set they made for a South Korean movie that took place in the JSA (It's actually called Joint Security Area) they made a few years back.
Wow, looked through some other Korean bboy clips as well. They are too sickly awesome. They've got the techniques down to a science. Koreans are getting pretty big internationally now-a-days in dancing 'braunge'. They probably are the leading nation in pop-culture-dancing in Asia. Respect...
@SparkleAnnie85 Oh, thanks Annie. It was just my wish while watching the video... =) You've got a talented cousin. Today we will start to write a history once again. Go Korea Team!
in fact, i've seen them both dancing around the border in 1996. it was such a good era for them both. it's been more restricted there these days. a pity.
The reason why I love south Korea and Japan is because they kept their traditions and believes under the best technologies in the world. Love from Kurdistan
Tensions between North and South Korea are at an all time high.
Bullock Luke higher up it goes..
Bullock Luke lol I get that joke.
efini_fc its alltime low currently
It'll be great if all conflict can be solve with this method.
DOOK DIC GAMER Hell yes!
Me 4
DOOK DIC GAMER american propaganda😅
I am a bboy and I agree 😊
Lmfao if was solved by dancing
I'm not Korean...but it would be nice if they could have fun together like this. It's sad to see any group of people, especially two countries so tied by heritage, so separated.
What happens if south korean solider say HI to the northen one and i am serious , i am not kidding
South korean soldier gets fired.
North korean soldier gets executed.
eivind sommerstad and his family gets thrown into a prison camp.
Their languages is so different in dialects they would have a hard time speaking to each other so this probably couldn't happen anyways.
Ayman Ayman since when was Russia part of the Western World?
Im gonna have to go with North Korea on this one...
+Johan “The Swedish Giant” Skotkonung HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't know why that comment made me laugh so hard
we have 7thflt. bombers on Okinawa AF. KadinaAF. MARINES on float. 3 ships. 3,500 MARINES × 3...get the point!!!..i tell you what, they want some, your getting AssWhop!!! 305thNVA got asswhoop!..3/5MAR. 😄...i do it AGAIN!!!..

If wars were based off dance moves instead of who build the biggest bomb.
equarg and we all would belong to India :D
If only.....
Angry joe brought me here.
Me too
Me three

me as well
Same
if only wars ended that easily
Drakon Minaka one did because they watched a football match
all the conflicts in the world should be resolved like this
I don't remember what brought me here, but this has been the best few minutes of my life
I served a few years at Camp Page in ChunCheon, Red Cloud, and Casey in the 80's and later on North of Seoul. I think that the Korean People are awesome. My best wishes for a good future. Faith in God and not man will set us all free.
"행운을 빕니다 형제"
this is how wars should be fought...
Exactly
I just LOVE the part where he dance RIGHT on the border. smooooove moves everywhere
I hate to say it but the north koreans win
media!! ..
ur a joker!
Who cares, nobody wins because of the commanding officer shows up to ruin everything.
This was shot at a movie set just north of Seoul well within South Korea.
A dance off would solve many of our political problems in the world. lol
Laugh died me when i saw Kim jong un at 4:18 lol
That place actually exist, its called "Panmoonjum" in the DMZ
but they didnt film that there, its a movie replica of a real thing
Could do with some of this in the Russia/Ukraine/Crimea region right now....
+RELICS92 and we could extend that to the middle east and Syria etc
I love to see cultures mixing and i think it had a positive message. Great video!
Is this true because the place was real...but how the fuck the cameraman can cross the border and this make no sence
South Korean film set - details in the video description.
this video made my day.
i've never been there but oh my god the setting looks so realistic!
also, the "southern" dancers look very hot. :P
Late, but I’m here from AngryJoe🤘
Same, Angry Joe Home Front 😂😂😂😂
I've been to the DMZ before and this set looks EXACTLY like it! I think lighthearted videos like this put a nice spin on the whole conflict. There's enough morbid material out there.
Liberty for North Korea!
From what I'm told, the reason they have two guards staring at each other, is to make sure one doesn't try to cross the border and North Korea has a third guard with his back to the border to make sure no one tries to leave the country.
North Korean B-boys totally rule.
let's bring on the boys! we'll killed All. U.S.M.C.,..we love it ,"what makes the grass grow", blood...blood..blood!!nothing to fear.CHEII
This video should go to the original UA-cam files I remember this video being new in 2006 and watching it for the first time so much memories I missed the 2000's

South Korea is awesome full of talent!
songs are:

Liquid Liquid - Cavern
Freestylers - Breaker Beats Pt.2
orbit - and the beat go's on
pretty cool fake vid...too bad this can't really happen at the DMZ 33rd parallel... :( ~*~peace 4 all~*~
ma gaaad remember watching this as freshman highschool.. such an OG youtube days vibe
I would laugh if one of them walked over the line and got shot
wtf you are kidding? if northen walks over the southen line get shot?
Aw man!!! The first song was like the jam to get us crunk when it was time to battle back in the day!!! The last song brought big time memories also and this clip was off the hook! Hong10 looks so young in this lol
Firo Prochainezo wait ONE OF THEM IS HONG10
North Korea vs South Korea from 'Planet B-Boy' is one of the best breakdance sequences in the history of the world.
Why do so many people think this is real?
I guess some people are just that gullible.... it even says the credits for the f**king film and the ACTORS. And if that didn't give it away, then the cinematography from the North Korean side especially should have given that shit away... #@%!
On a side note, it'd be hilarious if they bullshitted around like that hahaa
Jack Sparrow Hey. When's the fifth Pirates movie coming out?
Because they're probably little kids who don't know anything.
A real cool video, Loved it, n it shows how music can bring ppl together in peace... Big Thanx! ;) n cheers from Canada ~
did they do this when the north koreans were on their lunch break?
This was awesome..it should be played on CNN & some other stations to ease the tension. I bet 1/2 the country has never seen anything like this before... Nice vid bro.
Haha north korean got physicx and hong10 as the guard . well i guess the. Southern guard goin to be no match for them
Oh and flag freeze at the end
Mad props to the boys who made this vid. excellent bboy skills and a great point of view on life on either side of a line that defines nothing about the inner soul.

North Korea all the way!
let's start a war! I'm coming at u!!a
There's a thing I've always wondered. May be a stupid question, but do the people of North Korea REALLY consider Jong-Il (as well as his dad) to be a "dear leader", or do they please and obey out of pure fear of being "silenced"? Either way, it's pretty scary and horrible.
Fear of executions of entire family generations 😢
So this is what they have been doing all the times XD *This is a joke*
gotta add that at 4:50 its a 'remix' with Afrika Bambaataa - Planet Rock
Thank you! Thank you, props.

South Korean film set - details in the video description.
Edgar Cornejo You slow?
What part of your head did you land on as a kid?
It was clearly sarcasm haha
Yes it is. All 4 of them are actually from South.
@zimmyzimgir2 it wasn't NK guards.. it was Phyicx from Rivers crew and Hong10 from Drifterz, Bongs from Drifterz as NK officer
says in the credits man
Actually ive just visited where this was filmed. the place was actually made as a movie prop a little while back but now its pretty much just a tourist attraction located in tthe middle of no where in some mountains outside of seoul. if the camera was turned around you would see something that looks like a village of old korean houses and huts that were also part of the movie props than a museum

haha nice video and good message. its cool that physicx is so cool with drifters like that, reminds me of project soul
This is the first sign of diplomatic relations between both Koreas, awesome 2006 video.
Yeah, its a movie set they made for a South Korean movie that took place in the JSA (It's actually called Joint Security Area) they made a few years back.
14 years later, its still a good video
Excellent video, a great example of how relations could improve.
Nice =D
When they get united one day, they should absolutely dance off just for fun, just like here.
legend has it that these guys been dancing to this day.
He responds with an amazing answer! Can't wait for for the next one! Oh and one more thing, sentences start with a capital. Fail....
Wow, looked through some other Korean bboy clips as well. They are too sickly awesome. They've got the techniques down to a science. Koreans are getting pretty big internationally now-a-days in dancing 'braunge'. They probably are the leading nation in pop-culture-dancing in Asia. Respect...
I think that your comment was quite right. I believe that those who comment negatively are people who don't want to say anything positive.
Best Korean War EVER !!! Seriously all wars should start and end this way... peace
This is how we settled our beefs back in the day! It worked wonders then and it will now.
The Great Leader taught them those moves.
This has got to be the best B-boy battleground ever, on the border!!
It's not really the 38th parallel, but it looks like it, they did a good job of constructing the scene.
This video is great!! But HOW did you film it so it looked like you were really there on the parallel? That is amazing!!!
Great, thanks a lot!
@SparkleAnnie85 Oh, thanks Annie. It was just my wish while watching the video... =) You've got a talented cousin. Today we will start to write a history once again. Go Korea Team!
LOL. Cool. I wish it could happen IRL though.
However was this really filmed in the DMZ?
Awesome. Loved it. :)
This would be the coolest way of solving an international conflict. If the world was ruled by the young generation, we'd see this.
I loved loved everything about this video *muahz* planet bboy
Nice...I just wish the whole world could dance together...One World...One Love...One Beat at a time!!!
in fact, i've seen them both dancing around the border in 1996. it was such a good era for them both. it's been more restricted there these days. a pity.
right on - thanx =)
This would be worth a try... the NK side might lose their cool for a moment and believe that the Southern side has finally gone all nuts.
fantastic video!!
I had a good laugh watching this, this morning (: I hope all is well and you are doing well...(:
This is how wars should be fought
The reason why I love south Korea and Japan is because they kept their traditions and believes under the best technologies in the world.
Love from Kurdistan
the fact that you had to address such concerns is worrying itself.
its one of those competitions of two people that the
competitors ended up being friends
This makes me want to visit Korea. =D
korea rocks the stage when it comes to B-boying. seems like they move so effortlessly.
@PesiCool Yes I would have to agree with you on this one. North Korea preformed impressively!!
how the hell did you guys do this!!!!!!!!!!!! that looks sooooooo real man! like u all actually stood in the DMZ 0_o how'd u do it!!!! XDDDD

This is so OG
I agree with you on that one...One love one world.
