Beautiful piece! as someone from the southwest, I would say this perfectly captures the unique and vast landscape that both interstate 40 and Route 66 has to offer.
Its incredibly impressive that you manage to switch key signatures to this degree without people hearing it. I love the piece, one of my favorite quartet works. Great job!
Wow, never heard of this piece before but you’re right, big similarity there! Just listened to the whole thing and was blown away by it! I was definitely going for more of a Philip Glass thing when I wrote that section :)
