Richie at 74 playing burn in 2019, is something totally inconceivable before 2019. We are truly blessed to witness this. 🙏❤️
@Camp Blanchard go cry
now he's so quiet on stage😊
It sounds CRAP though.
Yeah I gotta agree with you, Ive seen this guy so many times since the 70s and he continously amazes me
We are,we are…..
Say a lot of things about Ritchie Blackmore but the guy can flat out play! I think he's one of the truly greats!
He WAS the greatest Rock guitarist of all, but this is a pale imitation of past glories. The BN 'backing' band are appalling.
Romero singing like Coverdale and Hughes at the same time. What a voice
Good thing he went for a younger singer - Ronnie Romero truly delivers! 👍
When I hit 70+ I wish I could still be rocking.
Once a rocker is always a rocker. There is no change in that
I'm going to be 71 this month but the memories are strong from back when I was driving a 68 GTX 440 and listening to Deep Purple Machine Head. Damn I wish I had a time machine.
One of the best guitar riffs to one of the best songs.
Супер
who can believe ritchie wan 74 years old in 2019!!!! God bless Ritchie!!!!
Ritchie Blackmore still Rockkk...he never play the solo like the record always put something new...that's what i like about Ritchie Blackmore.
Same, i always wanted to hear musician doing their thing without going through the producer😎😬
Ritchie is one of the best and to play at a high level at the age of 74 is incredible
long live the king 👑
Richie is wonderful! You're NO.1 guitarist as expected‼️
I was there at the front. What a great festival it was ,,Magnum , Blackmore , Darkness, Scorpions, Europe , and my favourite band UFO to name but a few all on the same bill!!!!!!!!!!!!
ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC RIFFS IN ROCK HISTORY.
and best hardrock song ever
@@carleriksandberg9249 i can't argue with that
Yo estuve alli. Noche mágica. Ritchie Blackmore y Ronnie Romero. Espectacular el video. Bravo!!!!
Espectacular Ronnie
Es una máquina Ronnie Romero. 💯
The first time I saw Ritchie play was 1974 at cal jam 1, I am glad to see he still has it.
Wow! That must've been awesome to have been there then!
Glenn if your were there can your share some memories? Like what was it like to witness the explosion?
I saw Purple a few months later, August 31st 1974 at the Astrodome on the Burn stadium tour. Blackmore and Hughes stood out in my mind. They both had great stage presence and played well. But the whole band was very tight and very loud!
Listening to this song reminds me of how I miss the good old Deep Purple solo duels between Blackmore and the late Jon Lord. They became great because they really pushed each other to the limit.
I love to see Ritchie on stage but I really don't like the lead vocalist. If it weren't for Ritchie, I wouldn't even watch it. I think I'll see if I can find Whitesnake doing it. Love to hear Coverdale, especially the early years of Whitesnake mid seventies.
@@DRILL-SGT.HARTMAN Blackmore is the only one of the old Purple that can evoke the feeling of Deep Purple.
Sorry to say that Ian Gillan can‘t any more.
But this singer is not that bad, sounding nearly like the young Gillan. A pity you can‘t hear that.
@@Eyebrowsindasoup He sucks as bad as Ritchie's wigs.
My dad works in the classical music industry and he had the chance to work with Jon lord and this was like close to the end of his life and he would get like pissed of if my dad would even mention Ritchie lmao
@@DRILL-SGT.HARTMAN Oh yeah, David could absolutely wail! He was a worthy replacement for Gillan who could NOT get along with The Black Knight-- however I like Ronnie too, he's not a Gillan or Coverdale but he holds his own- definitely a unique voice--my fav. Singer from the Rainbow 🌈 days R Dio, (of course ) and Graham Bonnet was way cool 😎 and had a killer voice, Imo---
Pretty good for a 75 year old man !!👍🤘🎶🎼🤣🎵Ritchie the King 💣👑
At 74 and suffering from arthritis he sweeps at 1:15 like I never saw him do before. Awesome!
i noticed that too!!!
There are rock groups who can't put crowds like that I saw him in Stuttgart 2016 13,000
suffering from arthritis?
nahhh, really?, does he?.
For a 74 year old man with arthritis he still did decently well, obviously in his current state he won’t be playing like he did 40 years ago.
Not to mention the jet lag, and the fact he hasnt played these classic songs in their original arrangement for more than 20 years. I'm 30 and I don't even remember what I ate today. Respect for Ritchie.
A very brave move on Ritchie’s part to attempt his past glories with age and arthritis against him.For me as a guitarist and a life long Blackmore fan, this is heartbreaking to listen to and I just hope he is not undoing his own legacy.
@@geosmith3436 I too am a lifelong Ritchie Fan and whilst it was good to see him doing the old stuff it upsets me to see him playing like this
I prefer to remember him as he was
WHAT A MORON YOU ARE
@@hellojimmypage if you’re 30 and can’t remember what you ate, you need a doctor fast!
Rainbow was my first concert ever, 39 years ago. I am glad to see Mr. Blackmore several times.
Mine too. 1981 Frankfurt Festhalle. Def Leppard was opening.
@@kaij.8100 stimmt!
@@kaij.8100 Me in Rotterdam. First time ever I was standing in front of the stage(fanclubprivileges)and I was terrified, DEF LEPPARD was so loud! I feared the headliner would be even louder. But that wasnt the case at all. I nevr witnessed Rainbow/DP shows that were too loud, thank God.
Look at him, looking at his guitar, he knows what we know, he is God...
When the almighty himself heard him play, He gave up lessons....
He is searching for notes i did not know existed, God how i love the guy...
Richie Blackmore was always my number 1 favourite guitarist....seen him with Rainbow in Edinburgh 1981 Rose Tattoo was supporting them....
Saw them same tour but at Stafford bingley hall
Amazing, all hail the Blackmore.
Hail!
A living legend.
l just plain like Ritchie as a musician and what l see of him as a person, l especially love The Blackmore's Night stuff he has done and him on stage with Rainbow in his Blackmore's Night clothes shows he does what he wants, an original a trailblazer and what a fine musician.
And his ever present wig
Upmost respect to Ritchie, there's still the magic there he's 70 years old and been there and done that good on him he's made some brilliant music which has inspired so many guitarists me included. Any negative comments is so annoying to read , but hey let's just enjoy 🎸👍
Long live, Ritchie!
Ganime lamporpoo matakunsi
I love having the opportunity to bring back old rock n roll memories.
I remember Richie Blackmore with Montrose. They've done a lot to endorse my rock fantasies.
..living legend!🙏...saw Rainbow live in 84....time is getting us all...
Time is a S.O.B
RB Still unmistakable and knocking them out. He makes that strat sing!
74 unbelievable, he looks exceptional good
This song transcends time itself no matter ther years gone past this song Rocks!!
Ritchie! Guitar Genius!!!
to continue playing well with old age it takes a lot of dedication, something that Ritchie didn’t have, which also doesn’t change the legend that this man is
Dedication he had in spades patience is what he now learning 😂love him
@@thomasgeddes8730 I think Candice made Ritchie a better person! She moved him from rum and Cokes to Pepsi, for starters. There's a reason why the missus is often referred to as a mister's "better half". 😊😊
Richie always had an amazing sense of timing and superb phrasing in his lead playing, he's not in his prime here but still magic.
I would not call this magic in any form.
@@chrisslooter2825 as a fan I say It's horrible LOL
Thanks Ritchie, can't wait to get the new Blackmore's Night CD In March of 2021. Keep playing your music.
wow what a great singer
Maravilloso! Muchas Gracias!
When it comes to rock & roll….there is no age limit. Long live rock & roll. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
vocal is so FXXX amazing..
I seen Rainbow at the San Bernardino Auditorium, back in 76,77, with Dio singing, what a band
So glad I got to see this legend on the Perfect Strangers tour.
Thank you!
He tried, we all age, the rest of the band sounds awesome. I wish we never age.
awesome!! Blackmores Night is magical and the best acustic pley in world
J.Hendrix , R.Blackmore . Thats all about Rock Music..................
Great to see him still knocking 'em out!
Fantastic show , more uploads please .
I'm afraid that this is the only professional recording from that concert (at least that I am aware of). Hopefully Ritchie and his team will release the whole show. It would be a shame for such a great performance to not be released.
@@antonyberner4459 who/what recorded the whole show?
Mr Blackmore still has it
A Lot of versions, a lot of amazing performances and covers since 1974, but only one original Guitar Master: Ritchie Blackmore
You have that right!!!!
Ritchie = GOAT
@TheWatcherofsky: See and hear Eliana play -> ua-cam.com/video/0cc0tEB1ND4/v-deo.html
@TheWatcherofsky: Experience their performance of 'Mistreated' too !!! This version is better than any cover and even than Purples own versions I've ever heared. I can listen to Eliana's final solo 20 times in a row and am still not full -> ua-cam.com/video/UIMQpt3jDXk/v-deo.html
Nothing lasts forever. Long Live, Rock and Roll!
Shredding would not have evolved without Blackmore !!!###
Fan of the first hour , it is with him that I learned my first piece of guitar on a rope "smoke on the water" now it is old ... today seen some videos I am disappointed , where are his Marshall? he has lost his dexterity, he is slow, does not move on stage, he does not stop lifting his guitar, soon he will carry it around! ok he’s 70 years old ... he also has to stop dressing up to look medieval his becomes ridiculous! hey Ritchie! dress you normally ! rock! Get out your Marshall 3 bodies! and play! forget your medieval days! otherwise the singer is great! Come on, I go back and listen to the old songs of the time with nostalgia! ... Thank you to Mr Blackmore for everything he did with Deep Purple and Rainbow!
Classiest man in RnR... I felt very safe when Ritchie was around - he had like an instinct for safety... Crazy "superstars" were under careful watch by the Great Ritchie Blackmore 🙇♀️🎸❤️
sen a lot of great guitarist but over all, ritchie was the greatest
Até hoje ele é perfeito, é o mestre, mago, o número 1.❤❤❤
What a band The following is a list of the members of the Blackmore's Rainbow band in 2019:
Ritchie Blackmore - guitar
Ronnie Romero - vocals
Jens Johansson - keyboards
Bob Nouveau - bass
David Keith - drums
Candice Night - backing vocals
Lady Rainbow - backing vocals
BAcking vox are the wives of Blackmore and Johansson reseptively.... Great music ..

Yes I know what you mean!
The dude is 75 years old! May he rock on as long as possible!
No. This is garbage!
Yup, plenty of bum notes from Mr Blackmore. It looks like his hands are really bothering him.

Great, just great.
Thanks Ritchie🤟
Hey! Maybe you have more recordings from that show with a quality like this?
The drummer is awesome compliment s Ritchie
Ritchie B : The Lord of the Guitar
Lassú,hamis és hallgathatatlan. Értékelhetetlen produkció. Nem kéne erőltetni azt ami nem megy. Lantozz tovább Ritchie.... Rossz nézni amit kalimpáltok a színpadon 😣😣😣😣😣😣
3:27 That riff is Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkway, and also 2nd lead in Randy Rhoads Mr. Crowley. Jens Johansson on the keys.
I cannot believe I missed this concert
Ritchie、the、fo、ever🎸
Ronnie Romero has grown on me. He's done David Coverdale justice here IMHO. Ritchie is the man as always!
