Recipe:
16 oz Foaming Bath Whip base
20 Grams Fragrance of choice
8 grams Coconut Oil 76
19 Grams Rice Bran Oil (you can sub for Sweet Almond oil)
10 Grams Glycerin
10 Grams Kaolin Clay
Place the Foaming bath whip into stand mixer bowl (or standard bowl if using a hand mixer)
And mix on medium high for about 1 minute (this will take longer if using a hand mixer)
Scrap the side of bowl and add your kaolin clay and fold in gently before resuming with the mixer.
Slowly add in the rest of your oils and fragrance and mix for 1 more minute.
Color with mica if you choose and mix in until well incorporated.

The foaming bath whip base has a preservative in it already. As long as you do not add too much in additives, you dont need additional preservatives.

When I make my soap, I use coconut oil and almond oil but it comes out oily and greasy like? It’s still whipped but not very fluffy, do you know what I could be doing wrong ?
Does this soap stay soft always or dies it get hard with time like regular soap?

this soap stays soft as long as it is kept in a closed container.

The pre-made foaming bath whip from crafters choice has a preservative in it. There is such a small amount of additional ingredients going in that no additional preservative is necessary.

The soap base already has a preservative in but because you are adding more ingredients I would add a broad spectrum preservative as well.
Will a 4 quart mixing bowl be big enough or does it need to be a 6?
You might get away with a 4 quart, but I would half the recipe until you know for sure

you can substitute sweet almond oil for the Rice OIl. Both are non greasy, skin loving oils

If you put tea tree oil and some activated charcoal in it.

no, there is no lye in this product
Can you use avocado oil instead?
I have not tried the recipe with Avocado oil but I do not see why it wouldn't work. Avocado Oil has much of the same qualities as rice bran or sweet almond. I would say to test a small batch and see how it goes.
