It’s so difficult to write characters that are compelling and seem real to a reader, it’s difficult to create a world and as the writer stay in the rules of the world you created. Congratulations on your hard work , you have earned your cake Viking !!
To make things worse, there's 2 different versions of Norwegian spelling lol. I don't know how easy it is to read one if you've learned the other though. I'm not Norwegian. I just know that there's Bokmal and Nynorsk.

I was brought up eating hot Christmas pudding in a bowl with hot white Brandy sauce poured all over it, beautiful dessert, you should give it a try Bjorn. 👍🥧 🍷
Petition for the novels in English signed! A Christmas pudding is mixed and put in a bowl to be steamed in a bain-marie for several hours then served for pudding for the Christmas Day meal with brandy poured over it and set alight as it is presented.... A Christmas cake will be mixed and baked in the oven several months before Christmas. It is then kept in a tin and every few weeks, alcohol (brandy/rum/etc will be added to the base and the fruit especially will absorb it). At Christmas it will be brought out, covered in marzipan, then covered in royal icing to a design of your choice with added decorations.... It will be served all over the Christmas period. Here, in several part os the north of England, we serve it with cheese... Delicious..... Spring is great! It is stirring gently as I write.... 🌿

I wish your books were translated into English! Petition signed. On the Christmas cake/pudding, the pudding which you had it's a denser mixture eaten hot with either custard or brandy sauce on. Christmas cake is lighter than the pudding but still a heavy cake and usually has a layer of marzipan then hard icing on the top of that. Both are lovely 😊

As I get older Spring is becoming my second favorite season, fall being my favorite. I too am getting the sense of Spring while walking in the woods, you can sense it. A world waiting to be reborn. I saw a small flock of Robins again in the woods the other day, I remember seeing them around the same time last year. Snow is melting away from the rocks and the vernal pond is unfreezing. Walking the same path for years has its advantages.

Congratulations on your novel... i have a recipe for an American version of those cakes... much larger weigh about 7 lbs finished . the recipe was my grandmothers from a cook book published in the 1800's... I had to transcribe the weights and measures and cooking instructions as it was written for cooking in a woodstove oven...

Hi Im a kiwi and the difference between Christmas pudding and Christmas cake, is mostly how it is cook. Pudding is cooked in a steamer and Cake in cooked in the oven. We have Hot Christmas pudding with ,yes rum then set alight which burns off the alcohol then covered in Custard and cream. Yummy, but just as good cold and sliced.

Gday Bjorn, congratulations on finishing your novel. Christmas cake is cooked in the oven and Christmas pudding is boiled or cooked with steam. The pudding usually is served hot with custard. I eat it cold as well. It lasts a long time so I buy a few so they will last the year. As spring starts for you we begin our autumn and the days are now becoming short. I like all seasons.
It would be great if your novels could be published by the Viking division of the Penguin publishing group. They actually publish several series of historical novels. Congratulations on your novel... i have a recipe for an American version of those cakes... much larger weigh about 7 lbs finished . the recipe was my grandmothers from a cook book published in the 1800's... I had to transcribe the weights and measures and cooking instructions as it was written for cooking in a woodstove oven...

I do hope to see a version in English soon. The cake looks delicious! I don't like coffee but I've never tried chocolate coffee. Loved the sound of the geese returning! I feed birds year round. I have all kinds and I love sitting outside in the mornings and listening to them sing. It just makes life better! Since I signed the Petition once to have your Novrls published in English. I've been considering other ways to get enough signatures. Im American, so of coarse the first notion was to contact someone over at Dominion Software company. Except that may cause negative backlash of some kind.
So, I though later. That there may be a possibility that some Non-English speaking fans, could help the lingual challenged English speaking fans.

Hi Im a kiwi and the difference between Christmas pudding and Christmas cake, is mostly how it is cook. Pudding is cooked in a steamer and Cake in cooked in the oven. We have Hot Christmas pudding with ,yes rum then set alight which burns off the alcohol then covered in Custard and cream. Yummy, but just as good cold and sliced.

Christmas cake is cooked in the oven and Christmas pudding is boiled or cooked with steam. The pudding usually is served hot with custard. I eat it cold as well. It lasts a long time so I buy a few so they will last the year.
As spring starts for you we begin our autumn and the days are now becoming short. I like all seasons.
It would be great if your novels could be published by the Viking division of the Penguin publishing group. They actually publish several series of historical novels.
