From personal experience, easiest job in the oil field is third party inspection. You watch other people work, sign applicable witness points, and write a report on what happens.

How you handle yourself, work with others, communicate, is more important than the knowledge/training you've had. As a TPI you're indirect labor, the vendors would prefer you weren't there if they had a choice, so you have to show your worth while "playing in the sandbox" with others.

Nah fck those oil companies and their service work... company you drive for pays you a set hourly, but will charge those oil companies hundreds an hour then the pump operators are down your mfkin throat screaming at you to hurry up and get the job done in 1 hour when its a 4 hour job..

Water companies are crooked AF I would stay FAR away from any of them due to the fact they just don't keep their equipment safe and would lie to you saying nothing is wrong but your missing brake shoes in brake drums and cannot stop. Oil field water hauling is some of the most gruesome will jeopardize your cdl and cost you life in bars while being paid pennies hourly. Don't work for any of them period... Went through 3 companies after realizing getting a tankers endorsement was mfkin worthless without the hazmat.
It all depends on how much experience you have, where you’re at, etc… Generally you start at 25% of what the truck makes. That could be $300+ per day to the driver
It all depends on what you’re doing and who you work for. I just heard about a guy today who makes $160/day. Some guys can make $900-1000/day, and anywhere in between.
Not to be that guy but... No 4 gas monitor, saftey toes, i know thats not an FR hoodie and wheres your hard hat? Youre a liability for your company... If you went to KTs or secure to wash out then they wouldnt let you dump there just because of your lack of equipment...

Yeah I did sand boxes with my trucks a few years ago, it definitely wasn’t great. They had so many guys running you’d only get a couple loads a day

It all depends, usually they haul sand in boxes now. Every company is different on what their requirements are.
