- Even though Tola is the newest member of his service rig crew, he understands that his role is extremely important. As an entry-level Floorhand, Tola is responsible for keeping the rig tidy, supporting the other rig hands, and helping out on the rig floor when necessary. Tola's dedication to the rig and the crew makes the rig a safer place to work and keeps everything running smoothly.
Many of Tola's tasks may appear insignificant but are crucial to keeping the rig clean and safe. They include: organizing and cleaning tools, keeping the rig clean, basic maintenance, taking out garbage and making coffee.

Thanks! Many of our rig hands are local and return home each night, some stay in camps and others are given a living allowance and stay in hotels - it all depends on where your rig is located.

So I'm going to be a new father. Being home is important but making more then minimum wage is an asset. Are you guys still running service rigs? Cause drilling seems to be shut down right now .
