As you are unfamiliar with living in hot temperatures, you should take lots of water, 3 or 4 litres, for your bike ride and hike. Keeping hydration up is essential. Don't be out in the hottest part of the day, early morning or late afternoon are best. You should have a loose thick cotton full arms shirt or light jacket to keep the heat out, you will sweat inside of it and this will keep you cool. Hat essential to keep Sun off your face and neck. The Bedouin wear long clothes of many layers for this reason. People die if they ignore these things.
@GabrielTravelerVideos Yes I did see that video. I've also been on a couple of hikes where I took no water and become dehydrated. As an Australian, heat is a thing. Any how, thanks for the videos, I particularly like the Greek videos and India ones. That oasis has turned out to be very interesting also. Cheers.

I can't believe you can walk in Greece or Egypt under the blazing hot sun and at the same time speak to your audience all the time. I am also amazed you walk around in just an open sandal on rocky or desert terrain, if for nothing else, watch out for snakes and scorpions they are everywhere. Thank you, I shall keep watching. From what I've seen so far in your videos, lentil soup is a traditional food for Turkey and Egypt too, apart from Greece (which you haven't tried yet). Of course the cooking method is different, I think in Turkey it has a yellow color, whereas in Greece brown and more of a tomato texture.
I have never commented on one of your videos. Hopefully you see this. #1 (off topic) seeing your video of Juneau AK motivated me to explore the idea of moving there. Which I did. And now I see you on one. Do you also think a bicycle would be a good option in the big cities? Namely Alexandria. That’s where I think I’d like to spend time (and now Siwa is starting to appeal to me VERY much also).
Right on, that's cool to hear. A bicycle is certainly a good way to get around certain places in Egypt. Distances are long and desolate, so you might not want to use one to go from city to city unless you're up for a pretty huge adventure. Winter is a good time to go when it's cooler. Also look into places in the east such as Hurghada and Dahab. Have a great trip. ✌️👊🍺

You can pick up some beer and snacks outside of Siwa where everyone goes to see the sunset on the island that is not an island. I believe they have Heineken only that was as of January.
Literally my least favorite beer. But if it was cold enough it could be tasty anyway. I went to that island, Fatnas, a few days ago and got a mango juice, didn't realize there might be beer available.
