I was looking into it and I found what seemed to be the top pillow. The pillow on top is not made for your head. It is made to go behind your neck as a support like the lumbar pillow on the bottom is.

lovely cats 😸😸and good helpful video 👍~ we bought this chair, taller people may not find use for the foot rest, but for me being small 5'2" the foot rest is the best feature and like to fall asleep at the keyboard so the reclining 180 degrees is great. glad to hear it's not PU leather so it won't peel and flake. if the pillow doesn't hold up higher, just use a little strip of velcro. i like the sloped and cushioned stationary arms, my old office chair has those i find them preferable to the hard straight movable arms cuz i like to pull up on the arms to reposition myself and the cushion more comfortable than hard plastic. my roommate is 250 lbs, not sure this chair will handle everyday long term use but he won't use it much so i think it will be okay, some reviews say it can handle 250 lbs person but they recommend 110 lbs to 175 lbs for long time every day use.

I mean for children a GTracing is probably fine. I would hope that their quality has gotten better over the past several years. I wouldn't ever do leather for children. Office chairs sucks because they're only comfortable when u have proper posture when sitting in them, which keeping Proper posture is Exhausting. while Gaming chairs you can sit just about however u want and remain comfortable
Fantastic review! I’m still weighing my options as far as a new chair replacement goes. If you don’t mind my asking, I weigh around 230 lbs (intend to drop weight back down to the 180-160 mark soon) and am around 5’10” like you. I’m obese in the upper body but nowhere near morbid, and the only thing I’m wondering with this chair is, Do you find the sides of the seat boxing you in at all? Can you comfortably sit in your chair lazily and partially sideways? Awful posture, I know, but sometimes I’m just lazily lounging when I’m at my desk. Anyway, awesome job again!!
Its a million times more comfortable than the GTracing chair i had in that regard. I don't feel boxed in at all but i usually sit more upright or with my legs crossed.

The arm rests are honestly very comfortable. I do wish they were adjustable that to me is a huge negative. Big reason is because my desk i guess is kinda on the shorter side so i have to drop my chair almost all the way down for the chair to fit under the desk when im not using it.
Thank you for demonstrating the footrest and reclining feature! I was looking for a chair for programming and also to take a nap in since I have no other furniture in the room. This one looks like it has what I need. I know you said you'd never use it, but in your test, did you find it to be stable while reclined all the way? Does it ever feel like it would topple over?
I didn't have any problems with it wobbling or coming off as unstable but I'm only 175 pounds soaking wet. I would imagine if someone weighed more than myself and leaned back in a less gentle way that they could fall backwards.

I looks like this chair was repacked, it ha a cut, a corner Bruised, the 2 cases are open, I had to put a tape on the hardware because someone opened before, the box looks intact outside back for the inside everything looks different, honestly this never happened to me, please provide me with a label to return this chair and please reimburse me the money, as I told you guys I am a youtuber, and I usually do reviews of my purchases or the products some customers offer me, but in this case I am not going to do any video just to give you guys benefit of the doubt, don't worry, I know things happen. I hated my last leather chair (which I think was fake leather) I absolutely hated it once it started cracking it started shedding leather flakes like a dog sheds hair and it left a mess underneath it for many months before I got rid of it
The chair is EXTREMELY noisy. It squeaks and creeks with every movement. The armrests could easily snap off cause they are cheaply made,The metal bars on the side of the seat dig into my thigh, The back support cushion is not comfortable, The headrest isnt big enough to even reach my head unless i sit all the way back, the lock doesnt work, If i lean all the way back with the footrest out it feels like the chair is going to snap in half and the footrest is WAY too short, so footrest is useless. This chair is built for a child not an adult. Oh yeah for $250 i would expect adjustable armrests on a gaming chair to adjust to the height of my desk. Not impressed at all with a low quality chair with a price tag of $250.
Couple things. The squeaking and creeks are something i brought up in a follow up video in which i complained about heavily. It has since been fixed since i went through the chair and took care of it. I also mention the footrest being pointless and same with the random massaging “feature” I did not have any problems with the chair being uncomfortable, i think its totally fine for me. The armrests i complained about not being adjustable, i think that is dumb for a 250 dollar chair not to be. However i dont understand the complaint of it being cheaply made or easy to break off. For me these are solid and not going anywhere. Where as those common GTRacing chairs arm rest are god awful despite them being adjustable.

You must sit much differently than i do, my legs never touch that part of the chair. If it did than yeah i could see why that would be uncomfortable. I don't think it's a bad chair, trust me i've sat in about 6 that were worse and or abysmal compared to the Dowinx. It has areas that should be improved and that's why i made the review & update video in the first place. I refuse to review companies products unless they're cool with me being open about it. I love my downix chair but it is a bit hard on the bum after awhile. I bought a a bum cushion from cushion lab (they come in many colors to match your decor) and you will have a very happy bum. No more pain from sitting through long gaming sessions 🙌

Might be that cheap PU leather. Ive seen couches with that material at Big Lots and those things are just awful.
I'm a bit late to the party here, but how is the chair holding up? Has the cushion on the seat of the chair gone flat at all?
I'm probably going to make an update video in a few weeks.
So far it's fine it had a few issues but the cushion was not one of them.
