- With the manga coming back I figured it was about time we throw out another Hunter x Hunter video!
I actually scripted this one out months ago, so this one has been a long time coming!
But in this video today we're counting down 5 Facts, Trivia, and generally unknown knowledge about none other then Gon Freecss!
For a main character I was a bit surprised I couldn't find some more information, but I managed with what I could find, and I hope you guys learn something new from this one!

I saw a comment explaining the title of Hunter x Hunter basically explaining that Gon is a Hunter hunting for a Hunter, Ging. Therefore, Hunter Hunter. That honestly blew my mind. I don't mind people saying Hunter X Hunter. But that kinda sounds like a shipping thing to me.
The Almighty Onion T^T Sadly, this isn't why it's called Hunter X Hunter. This was explained in an early chapter of the manga on how the author wanted to name the manga hunter something and after watching a show that repeated two words (I don't remember but not going into detail) he came up with Hunter X Hunter. I had to keep this short so this might have missing information.
the mangaka ships gon and ging ....thus the title was created hunter x hunter.
+Brianna yeah if I remember correctly, it was some sort of comedy show and repeating the word is supposed to have a comedic effect (which I still don´t understand, but that makes it all the more charming ^^)

Gon turning into his adult form isn't an "ability" it's a nen contract. That's like calling Kurapika's added effectiveness when fighting phantom troupe members an extra "ability"
Jacob Van Der Burg technically it is an ability when it comes to kuripaka. Gons transformation not an ability at all
Don't know why you think that, Kurapika receives power but he can only use it against the troupe. Gon receives power but he can only use it against Pitou and the price is much larger. They're both the same Gon's is just far more extreme
Jacob Van Der Burg actually in the new manga kuripaka uses his ability to steal someone's ability plus he's still using his nen chains to attack whether he uses his fingers abilities or not technically he's still using his nen. So I'm guessing that curse was lifted??🤷🏽♂️ I dunno but catch up on the manga

The chain itself is his ability whether he just uses it to trap his opponents or whatever and that is his pinky finger the one that allows him to copy somebody's ability. And kuripaka becomes a specialist when his eyes turn red / when he gets mad. Whether it's troupe or not I'm sure he can use his enhanced fist to literally kill people cause he'd be a enhancer master. So you're wrong bra just admit it

He pronounced Gon correctly. "Gon" is not pronounced "GoWn", but instead more like "Gone", just with a soft pronounced "N"

Luffy isn't even a good Protagonist hes meh..
Zeno-Sama Luffy and Gon are pretty similar the only real differences are Gon isn't as carefree as luffy and can be a bit more reckless with his body at times, but besides that they're very simular. Luffy and gon are both very reckless, overly optimistic, easily charm others, have INSANE will power, don't give up once they decide on something, were talented from the get go, have high status dads who basically abandoned them, Aren't afraid to speak up to someone no matter who it is, will go WAY over the top for their friends, don't take no shit from people and so on .
The simularites just keep going and going, I didn't even think there was another shounen character that could match luffy until I watched hunter X hunter and thats coming from someone who's literally watched and completed every major shounen anime out there to date. The fact that you're even saying "incoming luffy weebs" means that you've heard a lot of people say it before and already have a predisposition towards one piece.
But if you actually listened to what these people are saying or even just went and watched One Piece yourself instead of just automatically closing off your mind and assuming every one piece fan is being a tard lol oh and calling them weebs (which is a word you used wrong by the way) you would understand that what they're saying has valid points and could point out the simularites to gon yourself vice versa. Luffy in no way has to be your favorite shoujen character but what I want you to understand is that he is just as equally qualified to be The GOAT of shounen characters along with gon. There are only 2 anime that have ever been called masterpieces in this genre and do you know what shows they are, Hunter x hunter and One Piece. So don't go thinking another shows character is just so called weeaboo trash before you even know what you're talking about. Like I said practically everything you love about gon is exactly what people love about Luffy.
