    This is fantastic!
    Can I give one suggestion for your videos, though? All the time, I was trying to figure out how this path goes around or below the stackable tree house I saw. I can't be the only one. Include a few zoomed-out shots to show the whole tree with the path or whatever you made that day, from different angles when you make something like this. Of course, when you do inside stuff - for example, a fireplace - it only needs to be shown in context with the room.

    I love your show, I've done a fairy tree. When I was finished and it was dry I sprayed it with clear laughter. I find it easier to dust it off that way.

    I have loved your last tree that you made from cardboard boxes, but this one is even more stunning! Thank you so much for sharing the results of all your experimenting with us. It is clear that you have continued to perfect how you make bark, stairs etc. You really have achieved some of the most realistic trees and stones I have seen. Again, thankyou for sharing your techniques and ideas, your work is truely inspirational

    If I could offer a tip. After you glue the moss down, you could put some glue and water in a pray bottle and spray the moss. It will hold it in place and it’ll still look full. It will stay put. Hope this helps. I am a HUGE fan of yours. Love your work. 🥰

    Egg cartons. The fruit trays grocers use in packing (you have to ask for it because they unpack the fruit in the back)... Keep encouraging people to use up their recycling. 😊

    During the pandemic we acquired a LOT of those cup trays. I spent months cutting them up, some for patio stones, the centre is used for pottery bowls and the rest I cut up into little pieces which I will eventually turn into bricks.

    Can't you take real stones? Or ist that to heavy? Great Video ❤

    • @WhereTheGnomesLive
      @WhereTheGnomesLive  3 місяці тому +3

      You can but as a crafter there will come a time where you’ll want to make stones to create a specific look, or to fit a certain area, or to create a stone character, (I’ve done that too, I made the Rock Eater from the NeverEnding Story), or to create a certain step pattern. It’s the same for making the fake bark like I do, it’s always nice when you have options if the real deal just won’t do 😊

    You should put security cameras into the room that your making that in that way you always have footage to use since your so apologetic about not having footage and it interferes with your creativity sometimes.

    • @WhereTheGnomesLive
      @WhereTheGnomesLive  Рік тому +2

      I always will use them and peat pot trays are great alternative for those who need the same material but don’t have or can’t get cup trays in their area. This was about offering alternatives and sharing ideas. And this is also recycling. Peat pot trays are found in many garden sheds not in use. Peat pots, cup trays, egg cartons, even some trays found in packing boxes, can be used for this and many other projects ❤️

      Yes, if you use an exterior sealer and be sure to seal up the entire surface. Ask your local paint store what would be the best product to use. Hope that helps 🙂
