In this video I will show you how I build a Fairy House or a Gnome Home out of foil. This is a multi level stacking house. See pinned comment for timestamps and links.
Welcome home! I was wondering just recently when you would be back and then...voila! A video! Can't wait to see the new improved version of the gnome home. 🙂
I'm working on a smaller scale little fairy village in one of the shelves on my bookshelf. I realized 3 cardboard cans from Trader Joes (pumpkin ground coffee, matcha powder and chai powder) of different heights have the same circumference, and was planning on making them a stackable tree of apartments for my flower fairies. Your project is just the jumbo version (with way more experience!). Very much looking forward to seeing both come together!
Welcome back! You have been missed. It must have been heartbreaking having to tear down the previous Gnome Home. But completely understand why you had to do it. Our little mouse house started with 4 rooms and we are at 6 now. My daughter just keeps on wanting more rooms( and it is so much fun!).But it is getting a bit big. This is such a nice solutions and I am going to try this. She already asked if I can make a room for Granny mouse (she currently sleeps on the floor!).
It is good to see you doing a tree video again but I will miss the big gnome tree. I loved all of the nooks and crannies. The versatility of this new tree is wonderful. Can't wait for the next video!
I absolutely LOVE your videos. You got me motivated to craft again and that's difficult because of nerve damage to my hands. You also made it possible for me to have another source of income and for that alone, I am eternally grateful! Lotsa LOVE!
wow wow wow, that just made my heart sing! Thank you so much, it means more to me than I can say. Wishing you all the best, and much prosperity, on your crafting journey.
Your tree is beautiful, and so Inspirational! I have lots of tables, all that’s needed is Wheels.

Hello. I love your art. I'm already looking forward to seeing the other videos. I'm starting again with crafts. Your work is my biggest inspiration. Thanks for sharing. Hugs from Brazil!!!
Oh Yes more videos from Sharon❣️ I knew it was your video before I even scrolled down based on the look of the tree , how wonderful, people know your art before they even see your name , by the look of those Precious little's you make , well those of us that have been watching your beautifulness for years. Blessings for and yours Always❣️ Thank You❣️
Welcome back!!! My tree house was so wide I couldn't get it out the door. Ended up chopping it down. UGH My tree house was mostly aluminum foil and tape. It was so strong I had to saw it to take it apart. You make me want to make another one but the economy is so bad. I will enjoy your adventure!!!! I'm so excited what is next. Would love to show you what you inspired me to make. But don't know how to send pictures. Thank you Sooo much!!!
I am so glad you are back, I started making my own scary tree to go with my haunted house. He is turning out great. I am making a smaller one more for a Fairy theme. Yes, the Dollar Tree tape does not work well. I love working with foil. I also made some of the pine needle baskets, very enjoyable found some in the mountains, and now have some from my son home, they are a little lighter in color. Thanks for all your crafty videos.
This is brilliant, Sharon. Thank you for this tutorial. Will you include stairs? Also, did you take down the big tree, too? That’s my favorite project❤️
Love all of your projects. I’d be interested to know how you cut your original home apart. During the quarantine I built something that was inspired by your original home….now I’d definitely like to cut it down to a more manageable size. And yes, I’d really like to see your Camino videos.
I couldn't take it apart by hand, I built it too strong, lol my son took an axe to it. He chopped all away down to the little wooden house I started with so I could save that part. I truly miss that house so it'll be exciting once this one grows a bit more and brings back a bit of the past. This time around it'll be so much easier to move it. I have 4 Camino videos up now, 2 more to go :) ua-cam.com/channels/HUbcy2Ny2-jJGf9OMSy5yg.html
I love your unusual style of building things. It just shows that you don't need to use wood or cardboard. Loving this piece, and I live the fact that it's so modular so you can work on the individual rooms elsewhere if you like. Using this method you can add to the piece in a modular way too
Yaaay! You're back! Love, love the new gnome house, it'll be awesome as usual. Am trying to find a space nook in my craft room to do this gnome home, its already pack , lol 😃😃❤❤
Hi Sharon, it's lovely to see you back from your wonderful trip and already creating another tree house project. I love the idea of being able to remove each storey of the tree house - what a genius idea - I don't know why I couldn't have thought to do that - it's something I will be doing in my tree houses that are currently at 2 storeys high because we will be selling out house in the next year or so and I didn't want to have to pack and move 4 storey tall tree houses. Now, I can still build the next levels knowing I can take them apart to store separately. Thank you for such a wonderful idea.
Ooooh u have made me soooo happy Sharon!!..I’m sooo excited u r back at building!..thank goodness there r videos of the 1st amazing gnomies original house..I loved that one so much..and hurt my heart when u took it apart..but oh my goodness, the way u r building this one will b sooo much easier to paint and apply things to the walls and inside when doing the decor ect…can’t wait for aunt katri and the gang see the new build….so all these boxes I have been keeping I guess I can use for other things now hehe..are those plants in the intro behind u real? They r so pretty…I can’t wait for part 2,3,4,ect ect!!❤❤❤
It's amazing...started making the tree house but stopped as I thought it's going to get too big...now l will add other rooms in sections...brilliant idea!!!!!
I just moved from my temporary craft room into my newly renovated craft room and it was SO EASY! lol just one section at a time, I love that so much. Any future builds of mine will be done the same way for sure
It’s so lovely to see you back crafting! I hope you had a wonderful adventure in Spain - I’ll be watching those videos once I’ve watched this. Did you get rid of your enormous tree house in the corner of your room? That is the inspiration for the big tree house I’m building - although mine had to be against a wall rather than in a corner because of doors.
SHARON, I hope you will see this comment. I've been wanting to ask this for a long time. Did you needle felt your little gnomes? And if so, did you use a kit or just "wing it"? OR did someone else do them for you? More info please! Thank you!
