If this is indeed the case, I hope we get some mention of Sarah Jane and perhaps some cameos from the Sarah Jane Adventures cast in the show as a nod to Elizabeth Sladen and the originally intended story.

Would be quite interesting if it turns out Ruby and Sky are one and the same, and what the Trickster did was change the past by making it so his daughter wasn't adopted by Sarah Jane.
It could easily be justified that one of his plans was foiled because of Sky's connection to Sarah in an alternate timeline, so he changed it so he could attempt another ploy where Sarah wasnt involved.

An intriguing (Twist) a (Flood ) of possibly mystery if this way is true is Ruby Sunday is part of that canon of the Sarah Jane Smith Adventures so where is Sarah's house exactly is it far from Ruby Rd and does Sarah have a connection to that church and her family history have a connection to the area surrounding Ruby Sunday origins or the two mysterious lady's Miss Flood and Twist and is the Trickester have a connection to the Valeyard and The Master or The Rani or Gallifrey myths like the Weeping Angels?

How's this for a theory about ruby sunday: Ruby sunday is a weeping angel from a christmas tree and one of the pantheon of discord the eldest most patient one tinkered around with it because of the invocation of superstition at the edge of reality and just really likes whodunnit mysteries with the doctor being available to be a main lead in their latest cosmic whodunnit mystery.
I feel like if Ruby is the daughter of the Trixter then the person who dropped her off is actually a good guy protecting her, maybe Susan?

What I think they could have done was, have Sarah waking on the couch with Jake Questioning Who she was.
It's revealed when Sarah went to investigate an old friend's Pleas of having seen a Crime Boss who "Passed" away several years earlier, Sarah was put through a machine that Changed her image. But having So many gone through it since Sarah, If they found Sarah's it would be So degraded, it would be useless. But we would have the like of Captain Jack or River sending the likes of Colony Sarff to deal with all those behind the Attack on Sarah, so Doctor would not get his hands dirty.

I don’t know. If you listen to The Trickster’s theme and then watch the snow scene in The Devil’s Cord and listen to that music. They are identical music. My theory is That The Trickster is messing with The Doctor on behalf of The One Who Waits. I guess will have to wait to see what happens
This speculation has merit. If you looked at the flashback the doctor had to the mysterious figure, you can see they had no nose like the trickster

@@JojoTheVulture I don’t think the ‘mother’ in “A Church on Ruby Road” is the Trickster. The silhouette is clearly a lot smaller than that of their’s.
I loved being wrong and was SO HAPPY that our boy Sutekh is back! I enjoyed my humble pie, I hope all the Trickster stans did too.

1: trickster isnt his name as he says "i am no one, nothing" its just that mariras dad named him trickster so he liked that to make it easyer to explain to people
2: the theme that plays during the ruby in mystro is not the tricksters theme its the theme used only for the box that is used to protect from trickster a bit simentics but its technilcy the theme of the soothsayer/box
3: the biggest problem is the person who owns the trickster is a bad person
All good points. In terms of the trickster's name. Yes Alan does call him the trickster, however in Temptation of Sarah Jane the trickster does call himself the trickster and when Sarah Jane and Clyde call for him in the wedding, he responds after hearing the trickster, so either way he has adopted that name.
Yes the theme is for the soothsayer so maybe it means Ruby is there to defend against the trickster? Or if she's the daughter she has the same powers as the box and fights against the trickster
