  • I made a low poly model based on a drawing/animation I made of Skye and recorded most of the modeling and rigging process.
    Music used:
    CyberSDF - "French Garden"
    / cybersdf
    Saidbysed - "Four Seasons"
    Otis McDonald - "Sunday Skate in Golden Gate"
    Saidbysed - "Fancy"
    Late Night Feeler - "The First Night in New York City"
    ELPHNT - "Unrest"
    Last song is something I made in fl studio

    Is there a specific reason you made the details(such as the mouth and eyes) int simple colored polygons instead of hand drawn textures? is it just stylistic choice? (I'm learning so im just curious, Love this model btw

    • @billhook7357
      @billhook7357 4 роки тому +16

      Yo, i'm a 3d entusiast and I probably know the answer. If the idea of colors and stuff is so simple, then there is no reason to make a texture. To actually draw something on the model, you need to do a lot of work such as unwrapping and drawing afterwards, when you can simply click a few buttons and you are done. So basically it's just a lot faster and easier

    For the parts where you needed to do lines that followed over the topology (the toe things) I would have taken the mesh, duplicated it and used the knife tool to get something that is spot on and then delete everything but what you need, it's faster imo. I don't watch stuff like this but I'm into blender ect and thus was in my recommended
