- We ordered a seat lift kit from LMI Welding so that we could get the seat lifted 1.5 inches to accommodate a bigger box installation so that we can get deeper bass inside of the 2500HD Truck.
The seat lift kit was made by LMI Welding and are available at link below.

Can you fold the backs or the seats forward after the lift was installed?
No because of the bracket you install on the back of the seat which compensate for the lift. I'm sure there should be a way to convert it to a latch though.

Only the bottom of seats fold up. It's like that from factory
About how much headroom is above an average size person now?
I'm 5'8and didn't have any issues back there. Not sure of how much room I had though.

I’m trying to put 2 12 L 7 shallow kickers under my truck same lift u got but my subs are smaller compared to those and these guys out here can’t make a good box for them ? Any advice on how to make a good custom box? It would really help me out man?…

Just go to lowes get some coupling nuts to go on existing bolts then a steel threaded rod into that with a seamless spacer and put the nut on top of that problem solved cost you like 5 bucks per bolt back latch part just attach a mending plate with a bolt n nut do whole thing for like 20 bucks
You have a video or something that explains ? Because that kit he uses is like $170
@@JesusLopez-xo8nx no but basically they're called coupling nuts. Get some square steel tubing a piece for each bolt drill a hole in it then to extend existing bolt screw on coupling nut and then screw a threaded rod into that and the original nut for the seat goes on that basically the tune is the lift n the rest is to extend the existing bolts pretty simple once u see what a coupling nut and threaded rod are. Or if u want to go cheaper use seamless spacers on the. Bolt with washers instead of the square tube

Bro whats the measurements for the front and back height? I'm trying to see if my box will fit with the 2.5 lift
Not sure if you're referring to the box or seat but just add 2.5 in to whatever your current seat height is and it should give you all the numbers you need.
@CurtARoll I'm trying to see if I need the 3.5 kit. My skar box height is 10 1/4 front and back of box is 7 3/8
I guess I could change the top bolts and add washers what u think

@CurtARoll ya that's what I'm scared of. I mean I don't ever have anyone back there but still. U think some washers on top of that 2.5 would be safe
I think washers will work but I doubt you will need to use them.
