I tried both and returned the bose. They both have about the same sound quality. I had no problem with the fit, but the bose does fit better, but the price was not right and couldn't justify the bose with basically the same sound quality.
I love my c30! I was going to buy the bose before these came out happy I didn't. Saved myself $200.00 dollar and the bose in my opinion are not $200 better then the soundcore c30!. I listened to both the only thing I noticed is that the soundcore had better call quality. The bose had a little better base.
Unfortunate my Soundcore C30i's started to suffer from the right earbud not charging (within first month) and I returned them. Got the Bose ones and I am a little dissapointed as I was expecting a big difference. They are a little bit more comfortable, the sound is also a bit better, but 55 euros (got some discount) vs 330 euros is too big of a difference. Would still recommend the Soundcores and consider that I was just unlucky.
I was in the market for the Bose Ultra Open, but the Soundcore c30i came up on my search. Quick review, I really like the c30i and I will mainly use it for running. Only thing I wish it had was physical buttons, but still very happy that I went with these and saved $$

I agree that using the stabilizers on the Soundcore earbud do hurt after having them on awhile. I like that you can connect to two different devices. I had a problem with my calls dropping while wearing them. I like them well enough for the price. I can't justify purchasing the bose for that price, although I do have other bose earbuds.
I found that a custom V-shaped EQ works best. The Anker EQ isn’t that great -it’s a little trebley. The bass EQ is way too low in the midsection, and the surround sound EQ is also very trebley and also unadjustable. Other than having to fiddle with that and where the sensors are I love these things. It’s a tossup between these and my TOZO, which sound best.
Poster - I haven’t found that I’ve been able to operate mine by turning my head too far, but I can’t turn my head far enough to actually touch the sensor or put it into a shadow. That might be what’s causing it I don’t know. I haven’t been able to re-create that yet, but I’ll keep trying.
It looks like Sonys were popular if Anker and Bose made their versions... Weak bass is a deal breaker for me, but they could be good for audiobooks and podcasts.
Signature sound option is pretty good, not quite as bassy as what some people might be used to. The bass option, however, is really hollow sounding, to me.
Another thing worth considering is the fact you can buy 4 sets of the soundcores, for the price of one set of Bose.

My concern with Bose buds is that the flap could break down over time and lose it's gripping power.
That's a solid point.
A big factor is the soundcore's cost less than 1/3 of the bose.
