Hoping to see new N64 games added soon. Really looking forward to the first ever rereleases of Mario Party 3 and the Pokémon Stadium games
I sincerely hope they delay Pokémon Stadium until after they add the Gen 1 and 2 games, and figure out some way to make them compatible with each other. Because otherwise there's no point in them even being there; without your own battle-trained Pokémon transferred into them, the Stadium games are grueling unbeatable husks.
@@jbwarner8626 I completely agree. Trying to beat Stadium 1 and 2 with rentals is a nightmare. I will be severely disappointed if they don’t add compatibility cause Pokémon Stadium is one of my favorite games of all time
@@Zilear but it's doable. I beat it with only rentals and I was a child
Hopefully next month we'll get mario party 3 to basically celebrate the movie
@@hunterhyche8283 So did I, but I never played with Pokémon that I raised in R/B/Y. It’d be a lot more fun and A LOT easier. I’d like to use an Alakazam with Psychic cause the rental Alakazam only has Psybeam.
Came for Kirby, stayed for an okay(?) looking pool game
Side Pocket for it's time I remembering being a decent game. Curious to try it again and see how it holds up.

Just in case you were gonna ask. No I don’t play silly baby games. I prefer Side Pocket
Omg the "Great" at 1:23 was so funny for some reason.
The Mr. Sun/Mr. Moon fight in Kirby’s Dream Land 2 is one of my favorite boss fights in the franchise.
So many memories as a kid beating this!
We should really get these releases more often. There are still so many games you can bring back, including ones we never got in the west. Earlier Fire Emblem and SMT being a few prime examples
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes, everyone! Hope you're all doing great!
Yep, the problem is that a lot of the older ones before were Japnese only so there would have to be English translation patches added like how they did with Shadow Dragon which is 100% doable just doubt Nintendo would ever want to do that. It's too much work for them. They are a small indie company that are struggling really hard right now lol
I agree with you 10000% but don’t expect that to happen. Least not on the Online Service, Nintendo will be lame and separately charge for any fire emblem stuff like they did with that one they released for a limited time a few years back. SMT don’t hold your breath of it ever coming to a English NSO, if those games ever did finally come out in the West, Atlus would charge a premium for them on their own.
@@guthetanuki256 Oh, I agree. It's doable but they won't do it. They did it for the first FE because they sold it for a while. But just for NSO? I doubt it
@@TMac-os1hy Oh, I know. Just saying that the way they dole out games now is pretty sad.
I used SMT as an example but I agree. Atlus would bring them out themselves. As for FE, Nintendo absolutely could but they would charge. Which I get but I just want those games in English officially
There are many old games that are property of Nintendo and not third parties that we should have gotten already, I love Nintendo, but there's no excuse for how slowly these updates are going

Sure but you could play Dreamland 2 and like 300 other gameboy games online for free with just a couple hours of work, getting some emulators and finding a responsible rom website
I remember getting dream land 2 with my game boy for my 5th birthday, it's still one of my favourite games of all time! It's an underrated classic
It was a "Million seller Player's Choice" game so it's not that underrated. I think Burgertime Deluxe is more underrated. People assume it's just Burgertime without color, but it is actually an enhanced sequel with more levels, items, and stuff.
That's really nice. You know you can actually play dream land 2 with a gameboy emulator right now with far more customization than Nintendo will allow? It's very entertaining and very possible
@@gerudoking3180 Buti's not official then. This is a Nintendo game on a Nintendo machine, THAT'S the difference. I like emulators, sure, my Psp Go is softmodded into a retro gaming device, but I get more exiceted to see acknowledged real releases on a Nintendo machine.

Nice to see some new Game Boy, NES and Super NES games!
Kirby 2 and Xevious are great additions. Keep going, Nintendo-don’t stop now!
Burgertime Deluxe is cool too, and Side Pocket has a great soundtrack.
It’s like telling a turtle to beat a hare. Just get an emulator; it’s so easy to find responsible roms online and no, the fbi will not be breaking down your doorstep. Just play them that way and with a few hours of work you have far more freedom to play games at your pace and not theirs
Weird place to come and preach about emulation, but hey, mulation is indeed awesome. The GB emulator on the Switch is awesome too, and the portability factor is a must for some people. Plus it appeases the ethical concerns about paying for people's work, but that's just a small detail, right?

The other games are cool too, Xevious is Xevious after all and Side Pocket seems like a nice pool videogame.
Please, update so you can remove the 2 bars at either side. Just make an option to make it fully dark mode at least.
Other new boarders would be cool too.

Nintendo Switch*
@@ThisGuyDannyyy switch is a alternative name for it.
@@AHorseThatIsARadish we spell it differently in Maryland. We have to say “Nintendo Switch” or people will refer the word “Switch” as a light switch or something
@@ThisGuyDannyyy i feel like it's pretty obvious that the term "switch" being used in the comments of a Nintendo switch video is referring to the Nintendo switch. even if this wasn't a youtube comments section and instead a conversation in real life, you can usually tell what "switch" people are talking about by using context clues. where we are, what we're doing, what the conversation topic is, etc. that's how words that look exactly the same can have different meanings depending on how they're used.
like for example, if we're talking about video game consoles and i ask you if you have a switch, you can probably guess what I'm talking about.
same thing happens if i ask you for a switch while we're doing electrical home renovation.
I own Kirby's Dreamland 2 for the GB and the 3DS. The soundtrack is so good. Coo's theme sends shivers up my back and Rick's theme is great too.

Physical cartridges and items for the win.
Love these titles. Haven't played XEVIOUS in years. Also, I love playing pool. I was really hoping there would be a special setting for Game Boy games with Super Game Boy compatibility. It's own special color palette and a special border surrounding it.

Side Pocket and Burger Time DX are secretly good. Don't sleep on 'em
Yeah, many are writing them off. Those who think Burgertime Deluxe is just a monochrome version are in for a surprise.
We should get more Nintendo 64 updates soon. I really wanna see that. I’m glad that game boy and Game Boy advance games are being put into Nintendo switch online. I’ve been playing them a lot and it’s been really fun. Thank you so much for doing this Nintendo .
I can’t stress this enough: if you wanna play it now, just please, go get an emulator. You can modify and design it however you’d like for a few hours’ work, and the payoff is way better than what Nintendo is coming up with, multiplayer is more effective, you can easily screen capture on your big tv, it’s not hard
@@gerudoking3180 it's just not the same + you can play online I know that it's posible on emulator but almost no one does that
@@shortsyt6071 notice that I haven’t been saying “disregard Nintendo’s systems entirely.” If you want to play Mario with a community, go do that. You may have an easier time doing that with modern games, but legacy titles can work in similar fashion.
Also, it’s not the same - it’s better. There are plenty of emulator hubs that you can download, such as emulationstation, for example, and if you want a slick look, you can indulge the raspberry pi rabbit hole. There’s some incredible work done on this front, far more impressive than Nintendo as a corporation. Sure, you go from doing 2 hrs of work to maybe 6 or 7, but if you want it to look nice then go ahead and do that. I’ve made a whole personalized arcade cabinet with a cabinet I got from IKEA, some Nintendo stickers online, a nice hd monitor and a couple controllers. Cost me $100 plus some time spent messing with the files in my computer, so that thousands of games with a sleek external and internal design are now accessible for myself and everyone in my home. Best of all, I don’t need a Wi-Fi connection AND I can add modded versions of games I know and love, for new experiences. There’s so many customization options it’s actually staggering what Nintendo DOESN’t let you do

It's finally good to see Nintendo finally going back adding NES and SNES games again to the Nintendo Switch Online after 8 month of nothing new coming out on the two system libraries. But knowing Square Enix, there's no way they are going to give Chrono Trigger that easily…
I hope there is a version of Chrono for its anniversary, Think is the next year.
Oh Robotrek, nobody ever talks about that gem.
Release of Secret of Evermore here as well!
Chrono trigger probably... But in 2DHD, like Live a Live or Ogre Battle.
I love that they're adding such low-key releases to the SNES service. Side Pocket looks pretty fun.
Kirby and Xevious are 'low-key?' I'm not sure what that term means, but if it means what I think it means, neither of these titles are unregarded in any way.
Side pocket is fun for sure! I had a lot of fun with it as a kid.
I may be the only one still remembering this game, but bring Avenging Spirit on the Game Boy to Online, Please! You had is on 3ds so it should be easy port over. It's one of the best and most unique games one the platform.
For those who don't know, it was a action platformer on the Game Boy where you played as a ghost trying to save his girlfriend from gangsters who have her ransom. You can possess any enemy you see and use them to fight. Each of the enemies are wildly different to play.
I thought I saw the oracle games and got excited for a sec lol
