I bloody wish. Video definitely has inspiration from the likes of Soviet and Max0r, but I try to strike a nice line for telling a story, humorous edits and actual gameplay. For something like this, I don't feel the need to edit in every word said. Plus, I edited this in a day, so time constraints were another issue.

I don't think I've ever seen anything as guardsman as taking out a Titan with sheer volume of fire.
The US Army is a mechanism for burying the enemy under a mountain of equipment.
The Imperial Guard is a mechanism for crushing the enemy under a mountain range of corpses.

The thing is that the Titan Crews have higher rank and authority than Commisars. Plus, you kinda don't want to fuck with them. That's just an accidental vaporising of yourself waiting to happpen :)
@@Aurilion44 Lots of people have theoretical higher rank and authority than Comissars. However, Comissars have ultimate authority for declaring someone needs BLAM'ed for heresy. So "I outrank you, Comissar" is not an argument that will work.
But yeah, piss of the men enough and "Ork Snipers" might get you. Or you trip and fall on your own sword/bolt pistol/power Glove...
@@samuelmellars7855 Well the fact is that since the titans are actually under the jurisdiction of the mechanicus and not the imperial military, thus the commisars have zero ability to exeute them, and since titan crews are extremely rare, as in more rare than space marines, commisars can't kill them.

If memory serves that was supposedly the speech given by/poem written about Ollanius Pius(spellings vary, as does the name itself)
Pius was a guardsman and rumoured immortal saint of the Emperor who threw himself between Horus and The Emperor in order to buy The Emperor just enough time to win the battle with Horus. He gave his life in doing so, Horus being strong enough to render even an immortal low, or so it goes.
The story's over 10,000 years old but it's still well known among the Guard to 'this' day. It gives courage, to know that a single guardsman meant the difference between victory and the abyss. He's regarded as a saintly figure and the basis for the ideal moral character of the Imperial Guard in general.
Imo they should stop saying "geez/Jesus" since it's heresy, and start getting the habit of saying "Emperor/by the Emperor", immersion x2

I love that Digby is actually quoting things from The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer (I own the Imperial Infantryman's Handbook, which also includes the Imperial Munitorum Manual) while playing the part of the Commissar. As it should be.

They seem to be out of print (at least for now, though if you are sitting on a gold mine or something, amazon is still selling the old version from 2008... for 630.99$), but mine was 25€ IIRC (and they were gone before the pre-order period ended, so yeah...). As for PDF/digital, with a little bit of google-fu (or by hoisting the black flag) you should be able to find a copy (for some reason GW doesn't just sell that, but then again, it is GW and they do this sort of stuff. However, do be careful if you follow this route). Sorry that this is the only advice I can give, I did check GW's own site, Black Library, and even Forge World and came up with nill results...

In 40k hiding behind an allied Titan's void shield like Rimmy did would be a VERY bad idea since Voidshields are less like forcefields and more like Point Defense/explsive reactive armor that opens rips into Hell to eat incoming projectiles. Those rips also release a lot of Warp energy back out.
But when you are as faithful as Rimmy, or the vassel of Kenneth you are free from that taint.

I love how more Imperial Guardsmen are being executed more often than there are encounters with enemies. How commissars are everywhere to make themselves known and how Imperial Guard's main enemy are themselves!
For the Emperor brothers I've never seen a Titan taken down in such a manner, and that speech would rally even the most broken of troops.
