Lafourche parish here. Winds are crazy, raining in sheets, powers out & the house is rocking. Praying the oak tree in the front yard stays standing! This is a helluva ride & i have work in the morning, lol.
@mae12561 Nothing spectacular. I work at a shell station. We closed early last night, shuttered it for today & will reopen tomorrow around 6:30am if the Lord permits.
This looks like a full-on movie, props to putting yourself at risk to document major weather events for people across the world to see! I live in the United Kingdom, and we do not ever get events as severe as this, so it is both interesting and educational for people such as me in low-risk regions to see what people in high-risk places have to deal with (and will have to deal with more in the future). Well done and my best wishes for you and everyone else in the Gulf Coast of Louisiana to stay safe!
You are so kind!! Reed is the best!! I live in traditional tornado alley in the US and I don't think I could make it early in the morning or the night before without Reed telling me where and when different parts of the atmosphere are going to come together to put me and mine under threat!!
@@drdoloresmize5386 totally agree. I also live in tornado alley. Had f-5 tornado hit my town 4-27-2011. Weather definitely gets bad in Alabama. I live in france and i can tell you are totally right! Sometimes we get rarely weak tornadoes up in the north of france, but it’s in’t that strong. One time, it destroyed a whole church and that was spectacular. Thanks to Reed and his team for risking their life for us!❤
@@drdoloresmize5386 Honestly, before watching tornado hunters such as Reed I was completely oblivious to the sheer carnage that they unleash every year. I am even considering taking a year to go and travel to see and document the effects out there when I am older.

Okay, rushing water over streets..got it, expected. Calf high rushing water, no one pushed over, got it. @@ReedTimmerWx we are still without power but energy did update it from Total Restoration from tomorrow night at 10:00 p.m. now to Sunday 10:00 p.m. so that's good news
You guys are adrenaline junkies! Reed, I still think you're the love child of Ric Flair. You look a lot like him, and that "WOOO!" I've heard you do SOUNDS exactly like him. 🤔 I'm just saying! 😂
It was a wild stream to watch, thank you for taking us along! Cheers from Estonia where the worst weather we experience is a little bit of wind every now and again and mild flooding in spring. It's my dream to witness a proper tornado at least once.
I watched this live from your UA-cam channel and the audio came from the windshield camera. Now I’m watching from other angles and hearing the audio. Pretty cool
I know not everyone has the luxury to choose where they live, but hurricane prone areas are a hard nope for me. no amount of sun, sand and beach could make it worth. nuh huh
Please be safe and careful out there Reed Timmer and crew ! And may God bless you in what you are doing to get the word out about Hurricanes tornadoes and all other things that happens to do with Mother nature's Rath against the Earth.
Cocodrie is only 3 ft above sea level. They have a 15 ft concrete wall (levee) that they closed, but the wall only protects a small portion of the town. Love Timmer and the boys.
Wow that's intense for a cat2. I mean it looks intense. I have no idea what a cat2 would look like lol. Even that wind is howling. Great footage. If this was Cat5 I'd have words to say being outside. lol Reed you need a hurricane dominator with a snorkel. 🦃🦃🦃
Reed isn’t even scared, he knows he might be in danger but he’s calm always, it’s like a wasp in his house and he doesn’t even cares, he’ll just wait for it to go out of the door. What a legend he is.
Reed’s a different kind of beast. Dude’s rocking flip flops in a cat 2 hurricane. At least he had a helmet on…
And Edgar’s rocking Crocs 😂

You know it's gonna be a wild weather day when Reed Timmer shows up in your town.
He showed up in our area after a rare tornado hit the town. I was like.. Hey I follow that guy on YT!
shows up in your town wearing a helmet and smiling like and absolute psychopath
We have someone else for that in Louisiana
