When I watch a recent upload from this channel I end up going down a tornado rabbit hole for a while. As if I don’t have other stuff I need to be doing 🤦🏼♀️
Being a resident just north of Idabel Oklahoma, your whole crew saved many lives , yesterday including my families , forever grateful to y'all , God Speed
@@heeezyheez It damaged SE Auto a bit, tore up a rolling garage door I think. It went north, parallel to Hwy 259 going to Broken Bow. I saw Reed Timmer's video of the tornado, and it was basically a whirlwind with some cloud fingers around it. It never turned into a "for real" tornado. That was all the damage for anything down here.
@@irishnative9163 SE OK at that. Our only threat used to be spring, April and May were the only two months where stuff was going to go down. Now, we gotta prepare from October to Thanksgiving.
Spooky. I was in Haworth, a neighboring town. We also had a potential for a danger noodle to come from across the Red River. Saw pictures of one that damaged a building inside of town. All we got was rain. Thank God.
Been watching you since the days of storm chasers and when the first Dom was introduced and how much you have inspired me and others about meteorology is stunning and where you are now still being first to the storm warning everyone and trying to keep lives safe and it’s amazing to see how the Dom’s have progressed though out the yrs Dominate the storm and keep on chasing reed
Wait, I live in Broken Bow, is that current or last night? Last night i deff heard the sirens. I think we ended up having 2 in the area? The clouds are still moving fast today as well....11/5/24
Reed I can't understand why with the amount of time you've chased tornadoes you still get super excited when you're saying a tornado is touching down but no one else around you does.
@eddielane9569 Watching a tornado touchdown is obviously exciting, regardless of whom you are with. However, watching Reed get excited as he watches a tornado touchdown is a whole 'nother level of exciting that most of us will never get to experience in person. ❤
We had a major tornado here in Idabel two years ago. It caused extensive damage to homes, businesses, and a major church. I believe it was rated F4 in some places. Some homes have not been fully repaired today. It is serious business to those of us who live here.
The thing is, these tornado seasons keep turning up a notch. Before I wouldn't even have noticed the typical outbreak. But last May caught my attention (NWA)and now I regularly check weather reports. I respect UA-camrs especially when it comes to this type of work. They have a passion for it and it's more than just a paycheck to them, no offense to the NWS.
I just moved to OK and it was scary af hearing our sirens go off at 2am. My fiance says I have ptsd now because anything that sounds like a siren I shut up and have my ear on alert. 🤦♀️.
Unfortunately, it's best you get used to it (especially in the spring, it's just getting worse) and keep up with weather reports on YT, so you can anticipate potentially severe storms, so you know when to be alert and not get blindsided. If I had the means, I would invest in a storm shelter, there are various kinds out there.
He's one of the best. Knows his stuff and is very good at reading these storms and twisters. His loyal followers understand this. He's very knowledgeable about these storms and reading the clouds.

They are captivating. Being able to finally SEE the awesome power come together. The intensity helps us forget the dullness in our lives.

Its hilarious seeing the giant tornado trying to touch down and hearing the sirens while they're trying to get the phone chargers to work.
Lol they are nonchalantly talking about chargers like there isn’t a huge tornado😂
King of multi-tasking right there 😂
@@Unitedwestand17 huge is a stretch.

Real funny dumb ass
Incredible rotation with that tornado! That lightning and thunder was awesome too!

So crazy that tornados are going off in oklahoma in November wow
Totally not crazy though, in that November is the official unofficial start of the secondary tornado season.

Nice- also saw a post of the dominator on Reddit.
Swirlies. Those white ghost clouds.
Hey Reed did you know exactly 2 years ago before that on November 4, 2022 thar an EF-4 tornado actually hit Idabel?
Yep, to the day and hour almost (I think the last one hit around 7-8 pm). I saw the damage in person. Not fun looking.
Watching from Tyler Texas... Be safe!!

Reed was born to chase tornadoes
Some crazy motion in that!!!!!
Yall drove by my house and my work when going for this tornado yall was all over my friends Snapchat story’s
I love your chasing 🌪️
Great chase. Intense nado.
Looks like it saw Reed and the Dominator and had performance anxiety. Didn't want to disappoint Reed by being mediocre.
Reed why is this tornado clockwise when most others are counter rotation ?
This one was just north of the main tornado cyclone which was coming up behind
Man whenever you see this truck, you have to know the danger is close right😂
Reminded me of those tornadoes that Hurricane Beryl was dropping
So clear this one. Last night they were all rain wrapped.
Fun fact:
Idabel got hit with a tornado on this exact date last year

Hey reed did you see the tornadoes in Louisiana this morning?
There were tornadoes here!?
I think there were at least 2
Louisiana? Is that rare?
Are you doing a part 3 for the Tornado IRL series?
It looked like scuddy like what I usually see in Minnesota
I live near idabel but we didn't get hit
Wait, is it rotating clockwise?!?!
I was at work in broken bow Oklahoma when I spotted the tornado
Ok
Out of season tornadoes are usually different no? Seems like it

What was the tornado rated? That thing looks insane.
Estimates are saying at least EF3
@@xerosfs how? It just tore up a side of a sheet metal building, and then took a ride on the highway and scared some cows. I'd say EF1 at most.

is it moving clockwise?
This tornado almost similar to the Deadman walking
