On a serious note, though, I assume you're joking. Since the bit about him leaving was a John Oliver joke. Plus, he's a member of SAG/AFTRA (because of how many times he's appeared on screen), so he actually should've still been on strike when the writers came back. Pretty sure he was featured before the actor strike ended, so he's actually technically a scab.

I used to think Seth wasn't a good comedian - but when Covid hit, and compared to Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Kimmel, and even John Oliver, which I love - Seth really shined far above all the rest doing solo ~ he impressed me so much I'm a follower ~ and thank them all for helping us retain a measure of sanity through such a crazy time !
