It's because I think black eyes don't exist (unless you get punched). It's just very dark brown pigmentation and will lighten up to a hazel when in direct sunlight or any light in general.
My eye color is almost black but I remember when i wore navy blue smokey look it popped the brown in my eyes also my black eyes never bothered me

It would be nice if staff on ur counters were as friendly. I received such poor service last time I went, that I never returned. Did not expect such an elite brand to have such rude staff members. Not all, just that handful that let the brand down.
I had the same experience while visiting San Diego recently. I was so excited to shop at the CT counter and try some of the iconic products. I had saved money specifically to spend on her line. Unfortunately, the 2-3 sales associates were so engrossed in talking, laughing, visiting, that I was just completely ignored. It was one young man and two very pretty young ladies, and maybe in their defence it was just their youth and lack of experience. I would like to believe they were not rude people, just uninterested in an older woman who was not dressed in terribly expensive clothes. Even when I very politely asked for assistance, the vibe and extremely cool response I got said it all... I was too old, too middle class. I guess a 65 year old retired teacher was not the preferred demographic. It just made me feel very old and very sad... They didn't seem to notice that I finally just walked away.
