      @@destinywhite2063 Jackie is still held in much higher respect because of November 22, 1963. Jackie had a date with WORLD history! The Windsors aren't as FASCINATING as the Kennedy Family. The Kennedy family has survived so many tragedies whereas the Windsors are just seen as whiners and spoiled babies. The Kennedy Family was self made whereas the Windsors are just handing down everything ( which I know is priceless ) but the Kennedy's are the American Dream personified!! They were self made.

    What you must remember is that Jacqueline Bouvier was of French descent and the British continually beat the French and the resentment has lingered for centuries. Mrs. Kennedy had alot to prove while the Queen had nothing to prove and never needed to - she was Britain with all it's history from Boudicca onward.

      More importantly she was also of Irish descent as was her then husband. Never underestimate the "axe to grind" Irish. This all assuming she actually said something of this nature.

      French and Irish, Britians two worse enemies. Seeing how Brits undermined the birth and growth of the US in it's early years, and this long jeolousy as America rose to power, add the 2 world wars, where America basically bailed out the Brits. Not to mention the hatred for America til this day, where our accent and our culture is constantly being mocked, even downplaying Americas sacrifice in saving the UK...Many modern day progressive and upper class Brits think America's role in WW2 is overated. I have to say good for Jackie. She belittled the Queen and hit the heart of British pride.

    Of course, no one knows if Jackie Kennedy actually said those words, because this was made for entertainment purposes. However, if Jackie Kennedy did say those horrible things about the Queen... Jackie had no room to talk about any other woman, and especially not about the Queen. Jackie obviously couldn't satisfy her own husband, so he stepped out on her time and time again, despite her desperate attempts to be beautiful, fashionable, and glamorous. And let's be real... She married John F. Kennedy for money and position, not for love. When he was gone... She lowered herself even further to marry an even wealthier, and much older, sugar daddy...all because wealth and position meant more to her than being of good character. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth was the epitome of good character. If we're being honest, Jackie was probably jealous of the Queen. In 1950s and 1960s America, Jackie could only dream of being in such a position of authority and influence like the Queen. In death, the Queen has become regarded as one of the greatest and longest serving Heads of State in all of world history. The Queen has left an extraordinary legacy that will last long into history. Jackie Kennedy is virtually already forgotten.

Men who cheat are weak losers with no honor or morals, and the women they hook up with are slutty home wreckers.. If their wives don't "satisfy" them it's because the men have such a weak urges they have to have a new woman each time in order to perform.

Jacki, who had nothing better to do but follow the latest trends was dressed in the very latest style that was just beginning to be popular with the young 20 somethings. The Queen had nothing to be ashamed of.

    When Jackie is right, she’s right🤷🏻‍♀️. Even Elizabeth knew Jackie was correct. Elizabeth HERSELF refused to live in Buckingham Palace. SHE didn’t even like the God forsaken place.
    As for Jackie’s opinion of her, Elizabeth told her own mother how ill educated and ill prepared for the throne she was. So it should’ve been no surprise that someone else noticed it too.

    • @MsSphinx91
      @MsSphinx91 6 місяців тому +1

      Think it hurt because Elizabeth had been working to be good at the role for quite some time before Jackie visited. It's not like she had just assumed the throne. And I wouldn't say the woman was unintelligent, just didn't get the traditional college education because sexism. Seems like an odd reason to pick on another woman. This is why insulating people you barely know is never a good look.

      @@MsSphinx91 Very well said! I agree with your points. Queen Elizabeth did indeed work hard because she had to handle different cultures and religions and races and creeds and economical levels and... Elizabeth's education was very UNIQUE and Jackie should never have had the vulgarity to put queen Elizabeth down so bitterly - she really did hurt the queen's feelings! For all her universities and finishing schools Jackie knew nothing but how to be surly and Jackie lacked class. Poor queen Elizabeth!! Here is where Elizabeth is the bigger and smarter woman! Jackie was crass!!

    Jackie Kennedy in no way compares to Queen Elizabeth; argue with your mirror if you want but that is just it.
    You mention queen Elizabeth besides Jackie and see who holds higher grounds of recognition, the Queen Elizabeth.
    And if she indeed bad mouthed the queen the way we see, how the hell can that be considered as becoming of a first Lady. Screw that.
    Elizabeth is not perfect, but she carried out her responsibilities the best she could and did not fall into a intoxicated stupor in order to express her thoughts candidly.

      What are you talking about? Most "Americans" are neither British, Irish, not Scottish. We came from everywhere and still do.
      Britain is a wonderful place, but it still thinks it is head of some huge empire when it actually is a very nice ,respectable, middle-sized European nation.

      @@mranonymous2830 A lot of Brexit analysis I have read, by British pundits, suggest that imperial ideas were there (in, for instance, how Europe was going to rush to give them special, better deals and how the US would rush in with trade deals.). None of that makes much sense if you assess the British economy as it is. It only makes sense if you still think Britain has something special about it beyond it's actual economy.
      Moreover, I did just visit. The trappings of empire are everywhere. Maybe more obvious to a visitor than a resident? How different the British monarchy is from other European monarchs. St Paul's cathedral, still an opulent anthem to a not quite departed imperial age (e.g. the whole OBE overlay and the endless monuments to imperial splendor).
      Or Hollyrood castle, chock full of monarchical history unmatched anywhere -- even by Fountain Blu. And that is a lesser site.
      And all the stuff the monarchy owns that everywhere else is in public museums.
      No, there is still a discernable imperium, however attenuated it may seem that just isn't seen elsewhere. Perhaps it has no effect, but it is hard for this outsider to discount it.

    • @mranonymous2830
      @mranonymous2830 Рік тому

      @@curious968 well that’s a minority, I think for Europe it may have been because by uk is an island and because it had the second or third largest economy in Europe. As for the USA it’s probably because of the “special relationship”.
      Perhaps I suppose. Well I don’t think it’s that different, the same rules apply for most of the other monarchy’s. I know the rule Britannia song was sung there but I think it was just for patriotism, plus St Paul’s cathedral also sang the us anthem was played a 9/11 mourning there As well, something I’m pretty sure would not happen in the imperial age.i think that might be because of the time it was built.
      But that’s called a castle, made for the monarchy since the 16th century so that makes sense.
      The British museum jewels are owned by the department for digital culture media and sport, not the royals.
      Not “absolute” as Britain is a constitutional monarchy and the last king who wanted to be absolute lost his head. The only real power the monarch has is to dissolve parliament if the parliament does not fit the needs of the people (this actually happened in Spain), buts that all I can think of for politics.
      Yes it has been attenuated, but other monarchy’s have done the same (minus maybe spain whose Monarch can appoint its own PM and obviously the absolute monarchies out there). Well if we are talking about constitutional monarchies then it is seen in Spain, and I think the Norwegian king also has the power to dissolve parliament. Yeah it really does not, I understand that.

    • @curious968
      @curious968 Рік тому +1

      @@mranonymous2830 I am talking not about political power, but the role in the culture. Brits will spout all kinds of royalist nonsense about how the state is inconceivable with the monarchy. Meanwhile, Scandanavian Royals bicycle to work.
      Nobody seems to know what they actually do, but I constantly read articles about how hard they work. Just not much detail.
      That's true of all of them I suppose, but there's just so much more pretense about the British Royals and it always seems tied to all of that MBE and OBE stuff that nobody else in Europe has.
      Maybe all of that has less influence than I think, but that coronation they just put on (also dripping with imperial trappings) sure looked like a lot of people taking it seriously.
      And the awful British tabloids make their living off of all this. The Kardashians would kill for the level of coverage the Royals get. All premised, in the end, on the monarchy being somehow important.
      What's the real difference between Harry and Charles? Not really much as far as I can tell. They are both earnest but mediocre people, puffed up because of their birth. But, one is king, and so the designated good guy despite marrying under false pretenses and eventually marrying the woman who, with his connivance, ruined his marriage. That's all supposed to be overlooked now, and Harry is the designated villain for marrying a (black) American and refusing to cooperate with the elevation of the woman who ruined his mother's life.
      All sob story tabloid fodder. But why is daddy the one that comes out OK? Why does anyone even care? In my view, it's all those leftover bits of the imperium.
