Texas is an open carry state but I still carry concealed. I don’t want anyone to know I’m carrying. In my opinion walking around with a gun on my side doesn’t scare real criminals away. It only lets them know who to target when they get ready to commit a crime. I would rather them not know if I’m strapped or not. Just my opinion. Thanks and enjoyed the video.

This exactly, people think that open carrying will make a criminal not go after you, but it’s the opposite, when they’re scoping the place out you’d be the first person they’d try to disable since you’re the most likely to get in their way of committing said crime.

Ive appendix carried a shield in a Tulster holster for years, a while back I had to defend myself in knock down drag out fight, and while the situation never called for lethal force, I was so impressed the gun never came out of the holster during the fight. Very grateful for the holster being so durable and doing its job.

I have two tustler contours for my Sig p365 and p320. I love the holster. It’s incredibly comfortable. It’s best for concealing comfortably and more discreetly when wearing a a jacket, hoodie, and vest. Most of the town you will forget it’s there. And the draw is silky smooth from where it sits against your body. I highly recommend this holster. Now for appendix carry, PHLster Pro Series holster is superior. Makes the gun disappear and is extremely comfortable, even with full size pistols.

I found my holy grail in the iwb Bravo Torsion. Everyone is putting claws on holsters to increase concealability. That helps, but at the cost of comfort. The torsion is designed to do that without the claw.... if that makes sense. Anyways, worth a look if you find adding a claw makes your holster "pokie".

Great info. Years ago I was looking to replace my Crossbreed holster. I settled on a Vedder holster. It had all the features I was looking for. I like the retention screw, spring clip instead of Kydex. I had a Kydex clip break on me. I also wanted height adjustment. The 30 degree can't is nice over the 15 degree of some others. I think we are fortunate to have so many options these days. The Tulster looks like a quality holster.

@@JacksonWalter735 Tulster is a good holster but Vedder offers several advantages:
1.Vedder's claw/wing is placed further out from the holster creating more leverage for better tuck.

Tulster has become my absolute favorite IWB holster. They are the most comfortable kydex holsters I've ever found. The profile is my preferred one for all of my micro 9s. I'm disappointed they don't make that profile holster in an optic ready version, but all the same.
Another benefit of kydex is it protects your gun's finish from moisture. Leather or nylon holsters retain moisture and will rust your gun pretty dang quick.

I buy holsters and then throw them in a drawer or give them away. I have a shoulder holster I actually like but seldom have the time to get into it. More often then not the gun gets tucked in my belt and away we go. Have a wide thick soft leather work belt that grips the gun best. @@jeffforbess6802 I have a Colt Series 70 that if I dropped it there is a small chance it could fire. My regular carry is a Kimber in the 80 Series style so blocked from accidental discharge when dropped. An extremely safe type of gun to carry. It has to have hammer back, safety off, grip safety depressed, and trigger pulled to fire. I have dropped it, banged it around, put some wear marks on it. A fact of daily carry that the gun gets banged up. Holsters do help there. I practice secondary safety... pointed in a safe direction, finger off the trigger until bang time, and I am strict about unloading it when cleaning it. I respect my gun but I don't fear it.

I've been running an LAS Saya 2.0 with light for a couple years now. I have no complaints; it comfortably conceals a G19 with a TLR1-HL IWB, and I'm not a big guy.
It's a double clip IWB, so it's a bit more secure and doesn't move around at all; excellent quality, excellent durability, excellent custom fit. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I have the Tulster contour holster for my shield plus. I got it because of your recommendation. I love that holster! I wear it every day. I usually have some sort of button down shirt over my t-shirt to cover it.

Double pain in the ass, so think when in the car the gun is on seat or console, step out of car and gun goes into pocket, back and forth all day long and its max comfort.

I may be getting a WB holster for my aging Glock 20 45 ACP. Usually carry mine vertical shoulder style, as with my S&W Classic DX, as both are full size, and are never noticeable even with the under the arm shoulder holster. Been considering either a Glock 17M, or a S&W Shield Plus, so the waistband holster seems a logical choice for the smaller pistols. Will you be doing a review of shoulder holsters? My Galco has served me well, and has become quite "worn" in and comfortable over the years. What are your thoughts? Inquiring minds need to know!

@@skyeric875 They have advantages and disadvantages, like everything. You need pants (preferably dark) that are not tight, and which may seem a little long, and you need to practice. Also you need fairly tall dark socks you can fold down over the top of the holster without blocking your draw. Galco ankle glove is the best I have found. Galco “cop” ankle holster is terrible. I have no connection to Galco.
Same with pocket holster, you need a good holster, a small slim gun, and big pockets. It is easier to relax with a pocket holster as you are not concerned with it being seen. I use the “sticky” with slimmer pants, but I much prefer the Vedder pocket locker if my pockets are big enough. Much more secure with the trigger and easier to be sure you do not bring the holster out with the gun than a soft holster.

Is your CSX in 30 SC?
Currently watching, may get answered when I go to sight. Do they make light bearing models?
So since you didn’t show Glock mags on the Neo mag, I’m guessing they don’t work.
