No worries, dealing with copyright stuff is pretty difficult though and I dont want any legal trouble on this channel. If you really want it on your mobile you can always use a UA-cam to mp4 converter and just save it :)
It has 2 claims; one on the Cloud Atlas soundtrack in the beginning and one for the m83 song at the end, not sure which one blocked the video on mobile platforms..
You know it's funny. I've only started playing MGS not too recently. I don't have all the nostalgic attachments that a lot of the other fans have when it comes to these games. But I feel like I've known these games my whole life. They've had such an impact on me. It feels like so long ago since I first crept through the halls of outer heaven.......battled Rex on shadow Moses island........uncovered the truth about the patriots.......killed the Boss.......experienced the end of snake's journey......destroyed the peace walker in South America........had the epic sword fight with jet stream Sam........and finally ended it all in the deserts of Afghanistan. The laughs I've had with these games......the tears I've shed with these games......the FUN I've had with these games. Seeing this video is the ultimate feels trip I've ever experienced. Thank you maker of this video, thank you kojima, and thank all you fans as well.
To the person who made this: I just want you to know I watch this video several times a year and have for 8 years. This is the best MGS trailer ever made. You capture the emotion and majesty of this series so well
Alexandros Mandravillis That's all I would add if I made this trailer, but there'd be intense internal conflict over potentially spoiling the line for newcomers
Alexandros Mandravillis I was actually playing around with that line, but I figured it would be a little too much and, as already stated by Austin Wigley, it is such a pivotal moment in the ending of MGS4 that I think is best experienced in that context and not just as some line at the end of a trailer.
Alexandros Mandravillis funny at the end i was awaiting this line too. but thinking about it i have the same opinion as the creator of this beautiful trailer.
If all the games in the saga had been made just so this video could exist, it would have been worth it. Gives me chills every time. Perfection. Thank you.
Thanks everyone for the amazing feedback! I really didn't expect the massive response this is getting (it's already my most liked video after just one day!); absolutely inspiring! I have already started working on a next, even bigger Metal Gear Solid project, which I'll try to finish before the end of this year (I'm pretty busy the next 3 months so I unfortunately don't have that much time for editing). Edit: it's been published and can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/GmmEXUzyazo/v-deo.html Also be sure to check out my other Metal Gear Solid projects here; ua-cam.com/play/PL7D5ADAF302B2129A.html or visit my channel to see the stuff I made for other video games and movies. Cheers!
Its 1am and I just spent 3 hours tryin to find this video again (I was sure it had saga in the title but metal gear solid saga didn't find it. I watched so many videos trying to remember this great video I watched months and months ago. I finally found it again. That opening string brings a tear to my eye. I thought I wrote a comment on here before but clearly I didn't. Thanks for making this video!
This is genuinely the best trailer I have ever seen. All those years of MGS captured in one perfect trailer. Never usually comment on youtube but this blew me away.
Dude that would be badass and hopefully on both platforms cuz I got an xbox since I like halo but I don't have the money to get a playstation right now
this is honestly one of my favorite video on UA-cam, I've watched it a dozen times, it's an apsolutely amazing homage to a series of games that have been so very pivotal throughout most of my life, Snake has been a hero and an inspiration and a source of courage for me and the fact that we're so close to the final game and knowing it is the last entry into the greatest series of games ever made, is both exciting and a little upsetting, I want to say you've done an amazing job, everything about this video is awesome. and I will admit I teared up a little bit. thank you this is good, isn't it
I will forever remember MGS with this piece and m83's music together now, I think this would even make Kojima shed a tear. Played Metal Gear on the NES as a kid and had no clue as to what i was doing and would endlessly fall into floor traps. LOL hated the game LOL. Played Shadow Moses with my brother and friend when he came over to my house to play, we were glued to the screen, it was beyond intense and mind blowing with it's ideals. Played SOL at my parents, me and my brother were confused, nano-machines and A.I. taking over the world, one man dared to spit in their face while the other tried to instill peace on a suicide run. Played Snake Eater by myself in my parents house and thought how narrow minded some of us are, thinking back to the ideology of the (Boss) talking as a soldier when Big Boss was saluting her. Played MGS 4, my brother moved out, played this by myself, the ending was a bit hallow for me because i didn't have anybody there with me to share it with. *Funny enough my HD tv's power tube was on it's last leg and would shut off during game-play, i tried to beat the game as fast as i could because i knew it wasn't going to last. *As i got to the end it shut off during the credits, it freaked me out because each game has an extra scene in the end. *I did a little prayer and tried to manifest electricity through my finger tips into the t.v., it turned on and after i saw the epic final scene it went into the start menu and turned off forever *I thanked my t.v. and gave it a hug and remembered my brother. Played MSG V with my brother, he moved in with me, we watched Yongyea/Pythonselkan videos and would endlessly debate which parts might be right about the story. *I remember all of these games growing up in different phases of my life, through the good and bad just like some of you, I just hope future generations have these types of heroes and ideals. *These games allow there to be debate, it's story and humor add an extra layer, there's something i can't describe about the series because some video games are just endearing memories. *MGS has allowed my family to come together in moments because of how long they take to beat, i thank Kojima for the good memories and wish you all well during the pandemic. HERE"S TO YOU, MAKE THOSE MEMORIES LAST, I LOVE YOU BROTHER AND TO FUTURE GENERATIONS BE AT PEACE WITH YOURSELF THE REST IS UP TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!
For all of its quirks and odd story telling elements, an epic series to say the least. The structure and sound of this video is bar none, the emotions evoked are rooted in years of this epic story and the truth found within. Thank you.
For me MGS3 will always have this special place in my heart. I absolutely love every single game from the series but I can say MGS3 (especially the ending) have influenced me on many levels. Kojima is one of the greatest storytellers of our time and if there would be any game to recommend and experience to non-gamers, it has to be MGS saga. I also love ending of MGS4. Yes, I cried. No, I am not ashamed of it.
Simply put, I've seen this trailer about a dozen times now and I feel as though this captures the true essence of the metal gear saga. Told like an epic poem about legacy without needing to spoil MGSV for fans for myself. Thank you.
As a hardcore Metal Gear Solid fan, a person who's favorite movie trailer is the Cloud Atlas trailer, and a video editor who makes clip compilations set to music, this is one of the best videos I have ever seen. I feel like it was made for me. Absolutely incredible.
This is so awesome. I have probably watched the video 4 times now. It is so bittersweet. I started playing Metal Gear Solid when the first one came out on playstation. I was in 7th grade. The game has been a part of my life from time to time when a new one comes out. I can't believe this is the last one. It is almost like losing a friend. Thanks for this video.
This might be the best MGS SAGA Trailer ever. What would be even more epic right in the end "This is good.... isn't it ?" like somebody else has said, but still is perfect, for someone who loves this series or doesnt even know it, gives the feels. Awesome job.
Dude... just... duuude... this game was my life. i grew up with this game and this trailer is like a flashback of my whole life. and of the last to come. Amazing work.
What makes Metal Gear Solid stand out from any other game out there? Its never afraid to push its own boundaries and always pulls us back months or years later after finishing the saga all over again. The characters are well written and loved by millions, each have their own ideals and personalities. We feel their energy, their will, their pain and their thoughts. Every story brings us closer to understanding what happened in the previous game and every story has so many secrets that even till this day we still havnt cracked or yet to discover. We grow, we learn and we can even take the messages and meaning these games have into our hearts and take them with us into our lives and even pass them on to others. Metal Gear Solid isnt a game, its an experience. Even the heroes we come to love have so much meaning to us. Solid Snake - Fighting for a future and having the freedom to do so for others. Raiden - Being inspired by those you look up to and being able to create your own name and your own future. Venom Snake - Not having to accept the person you hate today, but having the chance to become someone you could be tomorrow. Otacon - Accepting the mistakes you have made in life and moving forward to make up for them. Naomi Hunter - Fight to ensure the next generation doesnt make the same mistakes and sins your generation have made
This is a awesome Trailer. You made a very good Job with snipping and mixing up the scences. With this Trailer I realised again how awesome this saga is.
Omfg man. I've not seen any Metal Gear Solid videos for A LONG TIME now. This gave me maximum feels. It's the perfect MGS I always wanted to make. I had some ideas of my own during this video while listening to the music and right in the next scene, bam. You fucking nailed it. There's not a thing I would or could do differently if I tried. Nailed everything. This might actually get me back into editing some MGS videos again. Nice one man. The cloudatlas music is also one of my favourites ever, amazing job cutting the whole song together. This seems to be the only complete version of the song online (trust me I've tried to look) Keep editing man. Amazing AMAZING job. I will be getting MGSV soon when it comes out. I'll admit though, I've not been following it at all or been excited :\ but I know all this will come after. 11/10 video.
Amazing video . Just gave me chills , the sorrows , the pain , the anguish these characters have been through over the course of this sorry . You perfectly showed that in just under 6 mins. Keep up the good work 😉👍🏼
Manly, manly tears were shed. #salute.jpg Great job man, encapsulating all that makes metal gear the incredible emotional roller coaster we all know and love is no easy feat and you pulled it off beautifully. You're....pretty good.
Wonderful thing, a bullet shot straight in the heart. Every single day of those two years, since getting the inspiration and concept, all until it was finished and uploaded, was worth it.
Devastated, this doesn't work on Mobile anymore.
:( I'm going to try figure something out for that
Wow didn't expect a reply, thanks for trying to help though I need this on Mobile. Haha.

Couldn't have said it any better
Same
Same :( i got into metal gear after ground zeroes (as sacrilegious as that sounds)
Same here I might play other games now but it's not the same
@@mcgingster9434 go back and play them believe me you won't be disappointed the feels are right there ,so many epic moments it's hard to comprehend
To the person who made this: I just want you to know I watch this video several times a year and have for 8 years. This is the best MGS trailer ever made. You capture the emotion and majesty of this series so well
metal gear solid is a game series that should be passed on to each generation as time go by. it has everything you would want in a action game.
"I won't scatter your sorrow to the heartless sea...I will always be with you"
Man i love this trailer :)
Oh my freakin' God... All these years... look at my tears ... Thank you Kojima for the amazing world of Metal Gear.
This is good.... isn't it ?
^ only thing missing at the end
Alexandros Mandravillis That's all I would add if I made this trailer, but there'd be intense internal conflict over potentially spoiling the line for newcomers

tvdl Cheers, still an awesome and well-put together trailer
Alexandros Mandravillis funny at the end i was awaiting this line too. but thinking about it i have the same opinion as the creator of this beautiful trailer.
Father and son ... *crying*

tvdl This video brought back all the emotions the series made me feel over the years. Really nice job
Here's to you.
KOJIMA IS GOD
Wherever you are TVDL know you were the best at capturing Metal Gear Solid in these videos. Hope things are going well.
should've ended with a
"This is good ... Isn't it?"
other than that, perfect
"I'll remember everything you were, and stick with you till the very end.."
Greatest Metal Gear Solid Trailer I have ever Seen
Its 1am and I just spent 3 hours tryin to find this video again (I was sure it had saga in the title but metal gear solid saga didn't find it. just one tiny little thing missing...
A BIG ASS
A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME
at the end.
and the Kojima Productions logo
***** I know. i just said.. at the end :D
that´s all.
Awesome trailer though, really emotional and well put together
Lucas Sarquiz ... wow, just wanna say that's a very unfortunate place for UA-cam to cut that off.
"just one tiny little thing missing...
A BIG ASS"
Awesum Brando I thought he was misquoting Heat for some reason.
+Lucas Sarquiz No, not a Hideo Kojima Game, a Hideo Kojima Series.
Lucas Sarquiz i totally agree, just a random juicy ass at the end like the one on my profile. ppl nowadays miss the importance of the arse.
I'm playing Metal Gear Solid since 1998, and I have to said that this trailer is absolutly amazing and wonderfull. Really great work.
This is genuinely the best trailer I have ever seen. All those years of MGS captured in one perfect trailer. Never usually comment on youtube but this blew me away.
"Metal Gear Solid:The Complete Ultimate Collection HD."
I wish
Reremastered please
Heck just let play as ploygon snake again
Dude that would be badass and hopefully on both platforms cuz I got an xbox since I like halo but I don't have the money to get a playstation right now

I couldn't see anything midway and by the end I was covered in tears.
thanks for the feels! You feel it too, don't you.
Amazing, didnt expect m83 in this, one of my favorite tracks with one of my favorite games, got chills allover.
This video is way better than metal gear survive's trailer
Its better then the game itself xD
what a pro fucking trailer. you deserve big props for this man 10/10
That bit where Snake runs at Liquid screaming gives me such chills. That and where he says "I'm no hero.....never was....never will be."
That scene with Snake and Big Boss with the voice over of Venom was just...just beautiful.
For all of its quirks and odd story telling elements, an epic series to say the least. The structure and sound of this video is bar none, the emotions evoked are rooted in years of this epic story and the truth found within. Thank you.
Perfect time to rewatch this now that the Vol 1 Collection is coming this month.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is rumored to come out in Vol 2 Collection.

I love the metal gear saga.
This straight up made me cry.
A beautifully, incredible story. Thank you Kojima. Thank you.
"i wont scatter you to the heartless sea".....fuck (quick sobbing gasp)
"I won't scatter your sorrow to the heartless sea, I will always be with you"

This is about the 8th time I've come back to watch this trailer this month. You did one hell of a good job.

This might be the best MGS SAGA Trailer ever. What would be even more epic right in the end "This is good.... isn't it ?" like somebody else has said, but still is perfect, for someone who loves this series or doesnt even know it, gives the feels. Awesome job.

Still gives me goosebumps, I will always fucking love Metal Gear Solid, just such an incredible series.

Naomi Hunter - Fight to ensure the next generation doesnt make the same mistakes and sins your generation have made
I haven't cried this much in a long time
Just watched this again after a year. Still gets me
Wonderful job! So many memories related to MGS... Thank you very much for the video!
This is a awesome Trailer. You made a very good Job with snipping and mixing up the scences. With this Trailer I realised again how awesome this saga is.
This is greatest thing about metal gear solid I have ever seen
This is THE tribute video I been looking for!! 10/10
This has entered my Top 10 UA-cams of all time! No joke, this is such a great use of cinematics and music across a decade of games! Great work!
Smh such amazing video, till this day it still makes me cry
very well put together also best choice on the song from cloud atlas made this video more emotional believe that
Well yeah dude, you summarized 25 years of games beautifully. You captured why people loved these games.
The best video i've ever seen, really...

Manly, manly tears were shed. #salute.jpg Great job man, encapsulating all that makes metal gear the incredible emotional roller coaster we all know and love is no easy feat and you pulled it off beautifully. You're....pretty good.
This. This is what I needed to see today.
Wonderful thing, a bullet shot straight in the heart. Every single day of those two years, since getting the inspiration and concept, all until it was finished and uploaded, was worth it.
I have watched this so many times and its just as incredible each time. Awesome work, amazing games and brilliant music, keep it up! :D
this is one of my favorites so far...
GREAT FUCKING JOB MAN !! this was beautiful.
The editing... WOW. Just WOW. I am so happy I discovered you a few months back.
You get all the deep meaning of mgs and it s not for all, and you were able to put it in a video and it s only for a genius. My compliments.
There will never be a saga as emotive and beautiful as METAL GEAR.
