This beautiful arrangement still brings a tear to my eye whenever I listen to it closely. I hope they are inspired to further excellence in future. Orchestral arrangements that include percussion, brass sections, extra strings, and choirs are always welcome in my world. Beautiful. Just beautiful.
The song is a masterpiece. The orchestra gives it a sublime quality. London Grammar needs to have real orchestras in all their songs. Nothing replaces humans playing real instruments. It's expression of the soul.

2023. 10. Februar. Und wieder bin ich hier, um dieses wunderbare Video zu sehen, und diesen wunderbaren Song. Wahr für mich ist: Wiederholung kann schön und wichtig sein. Ihr seid ein Fixpunkt in meinem Musik-Universum ❤
Perhaps you meant “everyone involved in this marvellous piece should be proud of their contribution.” There isn’t one person who can say they aren’t confused by what isn’t said less indirectly.
Being a proud Irish man, I almost cried when I seen and heard that Harp. Irelands national symbol. Love the part when the Hans Zimmer style trumpets kicks in.
Love the Zimmer reference. Spot on but i wouldnt have noticed it without you saying something. Hans Zimmer with Hannah Reid's voice is a collaboration i didn't realise i needed until right now.
Agreed, but very expensive. Easier to prerecord the orchestral part. On the other hand, if you tour and perform with local orchestras, that can be better and promote local classical music... issue is the lack of practice time.
Io non mi stanco mai di risentire questo brano meraviglioso! Lei è semplicemente meravigliosa e l'orchestra aggiunge il tocco in più che trasforma un brano strepitoso in leggendario!!! (I never get tired of hearing this wonderful song! She is simply wonderful and the orchestra adds the extra touch that transforms an amazing song into legendary !!!)
Everytime I hear your songs (even for the 1000th time), it's like I rediscover them for the 1st time.. I love your music, you really are storytellers from the heart ♥
I accidentally stumbled onto this. I'm absolutely blown away. What an incredible voice. I would rather listen to this than almost any other music. Glad to see so many other people feel the same way
London Grammer, you have a HUGE TALENT! Thank you for sharing it with everyone! I was going to write a book about my marriage but she beat me to it in a performance!
Da bin ich nun schon 53 Jahre. Habe gedacht, ich hätte schon alles irgendwie mal gehört. Durch Zufall auf dieses Lied gestoßen. Und es haut mich um!!! Schon lange konnte mich kein Lied mehr innerlich berühren. Und dann das!!!! Es ist ein Meisterwerk!!!
Hannah's voice is an indescribable feeling for me. It sounds like a remarkable and unique combination of fragility and power. It is almost like a safe place. Blessed to have seen her and the band at Wembley this year.
I just love the fact that in this day and age of tech we can add a classic orchestra to an already amazing piece of music and it elevates it to the heavens. Batteries not required.
This entire song is ethereal and soul-lifting, but gosh that intro, the first 25 seconds is from another planet. Very close to the height of musical sensitivity 💫♥✨
This is the type of masterpiece that reaffirms my firm belief that music is one type of actual magic.... So powerful, so hypnotic, breathtaking, world-stopping.... Not enough words...
I never comment on songs, I have done it twice here. This may very well be one of the best tracks ever recorded. Ever. This version is perfection. Can anyone honestly say they have only listened once? It is like an unshakable narcotic dragging you back inexorably to its potent brilliance time and time again. The Bond-like finish with the outrageous brass section is overwhelming as it builds to a huge climax then leaves you with a gentle piano. Genius.
Lets be abundantly clear. This is the best song of the year by a long way. It has now been deified: this is remarkable, an astonishing fusion of voice and orchestra. It is chills multiplied. How on earth was it possible to elevate this masterpiece? London Grammar, we salute you
No matter how many times I listen to this version, I get goosebumps every single time. It’s unbelievably beautiful. We need more songs done with an orchestra!!! 🤯♥️
Oh My goodness, this is just an immense piece of music. Just when you think LG can't be any better they surpass your expectations. Now I need to hear the same treatment for I need the Night. That's a track crying out for a full orchestra.
@@MightyMouse350 The song, sure, but not the album. I think he meant the album. I think Missing sounds very Seal-like, which is a bit of a jump from Massive Attack. And All My Love has a super bluesy hymnal feel to it. The album covers a lot of sonic space, to my ears, and I think it's worthy of Grammy nominations too. I def think it's their best album. Also, everything is derivative! :)
@@MightyMouse350 you need to get your ears checked. It's absolutely nothing like teardrop. There's not even a beat here. Get out your momma's basement and grow.
@@spgard, a good album without a doubt, but Truth Is A Beautiful Thing is a GREAT album... Easily there best work and I've been listening to LG since 2012... Just my opinion 😉
I love how genuine she is. She played tonight in Manchester and she was so concerned if we were all ok. I stood in the front row and she smiled to me a few times and went of the stage at some point and I grabbed her hand. Very laid back person not acting like she is better because she is famous. Really loved the show and her tonight
There was a ventilation problem in MCR and people were fainting. But the sound quality in the Warehouse was so much better than it would be at the Arena. I don't know if it's always that stuffy or it was that one day. She was beautiful live.

You know how parents feel watching their child grow, make new friends, go to school, pass exams and make their way in the big world..that’s how I feel with LG..I’ve been a massive fan since the very beginning when they were just starting out on their road to success…now look at them..each album gets better and better..Hannahs voice gets better(if that’s even possible) and now they’re recording with an orchestra which sounds heavenly although that’s quite apt because Hannah does sing like an Angel.
As someone who's music tastes were developed in the 90's, it is easy to find fault in the current generation of music being produced. But then a group like this come around and gives me so much faith that amazing music is still being created.

The album versions of their songs are excellent, but it would be amazing to hear more of London Grammar's music set to an orchestral backdrop. The Bane of all Modern Vapid Music is Synthesizers.

I didn't know I needed the whole album redone with an orchestra until now.
