I love your studio so much. Supporting the first on kickstarter was the only thing I ever did on kickstarter and it was such a good decision to already believe in your ideas back then. Can't wait for the second one. The immersion into this beautiful medieval world was already so good in the first one
@@WarhorseStudios It was! Loved it. I adored the gameplay and the sense of accomplishment that came from leveling up and mastering skills through failure and trying again. Being level 1 at everything in the beginning was tough but I could really feel the progress I'd made every time I improved a skill and then looked back at where I started, just like in real life. Bravo. Can't wait to play the sequel on day 1.

I'm 48 years old, and a friend suggested KCD to me for Playstation 4. I had never heard of it, but after reading the back of the box, I decided to buy it. I became instantly hooked! I even bought a PC literally just to play it on a platform that I enjoy more! Hundreds and hundreds of hours later, it is still my favorite game ever! Cannot wait until KCD2 releases, I just hope my PC is good enough to play it, but if not, I guess I'll just have to buy a better one!

I was on vacation in the Czech Republic at the time the game was revealed. I visited the church in Kuttenberg, the Bohemian Paradise (I even saw the location with the lake from the video!) and Trosky Castle (unfortunately only the outside). I can't wait to see these locations in the game!

What makes a game the best, regardless of genre, is the believability of its world. For example, a game like Witcher 3, which takes place entirely in a fantasy world, or a pixel art game like Stardew Valley have both achieved this. But it's much more beautiful when a game set in real time achieves this. For example, when you play RDR2, you really feel like a gunslinger in the late 19th century. Sometimes it feels like you're watching a real Wild West documentary from that time. And KCD1 really made us feel like we were in Medieval Bohemia. I'm pretty sure KCD2 will give us this feeling as well.
So true. I was having a surreal time last night in google earth, street viewing the church in Rovna, looking at Talmberg, Silver Slavitz Sasau and Uzhitz. It never occurred to me that the area was so close to the game world, even the ruins of Pribyslavitz north of Ledetchko. It's hard for us to imagine tangible towns and ruins that old, when most of the oldest visible buildings, monuments and ruins in our country only go back 400 odd years. Can't wait for KCD2
Love it all. This reveal got me super excited about a game I knew zero about, and am now obsessed with consuming any piece of content there is. And I'm now 50 hours into the first game and have barely scratched the surface. I love it - it's brought back the feelings of playing RDR2. Jesus Christ and Warhorse be praised!

4th december release date confirmed with all those St. Barbara mentions? Can't wait to play this masterpiece after spending and loving hundreds of hours in multiple play throughs of KCD. This passion for their game is only found in less than a hand full of studios since I started playing PC games in 1997. 10,5 years after backing the kickstarter for KCD the team at warhorse studios are delivering us a new game which will tie hundreds of thousands of players to the monitor in pure awe how much detail and effort they put in their game. I usually don't pre order games/kickstarter but Warhorse never fails to deliver.

Macht bitte weiter so, wachst an Stärke und Qualität, schaut das ihr so wenig wie möglich Bugs drin habt, und dann werde ich wieder mehr als zufrieden sein. It is things like this that help remind me its not a crazy magic. So much work in a reveal, with years of work just behind it. I've been spreading the word on this most illustrious project, as I did for the first. I've got myself a suit of armor since then. The role play begins. KCD has been very special for most of us. In my case, the first KCD was the only one which made me feel that "child" or pure hype for a game since a long time ago. With the years, I have felt that games do not surprise me like they used to when I was a teen. KCD has been able to make me feel that again. Obiously I do not expect that surprise effect again, as far as I already know the saga, but i'm sure it will be a huge adventure to enjoy.
Greetings from the Netherlands! I’m on a vacation in the ‘Česká republika’. I viste al the places from the first game and it was great to see it! Also I went to all the places mention that are going to be part in the second game. Can’t wait to see how the bohemian gardens with the rock cities and Trotsky Castle will look in the game. And not to forget Kutná hora (Kuttenberg) what an amazing city to viste with the big cathedral St. Barbara. Just a tip for the second game. Can you also place the Czech names from the places in the game. I was nice to see the names in the original language 😃

The sheer level of quality Warhorse does OUTSIDE their games has always been inspiring. They are like no one else out there. Shows they really have a passion in their project that is next to none.
Even when Warhorse became a AAA studio, they still share these wonderful moments that what made me excited for KCD 1 in the first place back in the day. Wow man i still can't believe it's been almost 11 years since the kickstarter, it feels like it was yesterday.

Can't wait to play this masterpiece after spending and loving hundreds of hours in multiple play throughs of KCD.
This passion for their game is only found in less than a hand full of studios since I started playing PC games in 1997.
10,5 years after backing the kickstarter for KCD the team at warhorse studios are delivering us a new game which will tie hundreds of thousands of players to the monitor in pure awe how much detail and effort they put in their game.
I usually don't pre order games/kickstarter but Warhorse never fails to deliver.
The most beautiful, realistic medieval RPG is return ! I'm so hyped (much more than GTA6 😉). Thanks so much Warhorse, you're the best !

Das ganze Spiel, der Soundtrack, die Emotionen der Characters, die Liebe, die Natur, die Wege - für mich ist es seit Jahren das beste Spiel geblieben. Macht bitte weiter so, wachst an Stärke und Qualität, schaut das ihr so wenig wie möglich Bugs drin habt, und dann werde ich wieder mehr als zufrieden sein. Übrigens das Video zum Fechtkampf / der Fechtschule - ebenso wundervoll. Mit voller Kraft vorraus !

I was talking to my mates about how I'm not at all exited for any new releases, then you guys dropped the trailer. Now I have something to look forward to, loved the first game. We need more devs like you guys, keep being awesome!

It is things like this that help remind me its not a crazy magic. So much work in a reveal, with years of work just behind it. I've been spreading the word on this most illustrious project, as I did for the first.
I've got myself a suit of armor since then. The role play begins. Even had a shield with the Skalitz heraldry made. Just one last piece to make it complete. My only worry is the complete liquidation of my free time. Thank you, God bless

Been replaying KCD 1 over the last few weeks in anticipation. Just finished the main questline and open UA-cam to this. Can't wait to see what your team has made this time!

KCD has been very special for most of us. In my case, the first KCD was the only one which made me feel that "child" or pure hype for a game since a long time ago.
With the years, I have felt that games do not surprise me like they used to when I was a teen.
KCD has been able to make me feel that again. Obiously I do not expect that surprise effect again, as far as I already know the saga, but i'm sure it will be a huge adventure to enjoy.

I’m on a vacation in the ‘Česká republika’. I viste al the places from the first game and it was great to see it!
Also I went to all the places mention that are going to be part in the second game. Can’t wait to see how the bohemian gardens with the rock cities and Trotsky Castle will look in the game. And not to forget Kutná hora (Kuttenberg) what an amazing city to viste with the big cathedral St. Barbara.
Just a tip for the second game. Can you also place the Czech names from the places in the game. I was nice to see the names in the original language 😃

The effort that went into this shooting is crazy, but the result is equally amazing.
The sheer level of quality Warhorse does OUTSIDE their games has always been inspiring. They are like no one else out there. Shows they really have a passion in their project that is next to none.
It blows my mind that it has been as long as it has since the first one.
Even when Warhorse became a AAA studio, they still share these wonderful moments that what made me excited for KCD 1 in the first place back in the day. Wow man i still can't believe it's been almost 11 years since the kickstarter, it feels like it was yesterday.
I still would not call them an triple A company
