Does this update (2 inch) cause higher risk of drive shaft harms? Is lifetime going to be shorter compared with standard. I mean because of remarkable change of each drive shaft angle? Which are your expeiences?
@@MainvilleATV Just curious because I heard (BRP engineering) about risk when changing drive shaft angle (ingreasing position just by adjustment set). It can cause some harm. Maybe in your case if you are changing both installation position and tire size in a correct way you can keep correct drive angle: ua-cam.com/video/Idk3BVDVHq4/v-deo.html. Spicer table told, that below 1500 rpm min max u-joint angle can be more that 11,5 degree. So by 500 rpm and lower risk for vibration etc should be very low. Your update looked great! Did you have to adjust the tie rods at all, I’ve been thinking about this 2” lift for my grizzly how do you feel about the quality
Feels fine no I did not adjust. Keep an eye on it and torque it down again after a ride should be good to go
Mainville ATV and Outdoors thanks for the reply great video very helpful
Are the 25 mudlights for sale?
Sorry, they sold a while ago.
@@MainvilleATV ok np. Thx
Looking good
Thanks!
You went sledge hammers awesome! looks good guys. Nothing wrong with the bracket lifts. Can’t wait to see them tires in action. I heard them Ricky-isms in there to haha.
Ahah. Yeah, we have a ride video coming soon enough!
Air Ratchet is a Knuckle Saver
Cool video man
Thanks bud!
Did the lift actually give it couple inches ya think? Worth the money?
It certainly did. Between the lift and the tires she went up 4.5 inches in total. Same height as my Outlander now.
The 2inch lift, combined with going up to 30s gave an extra 5 inches of clearance. Big difference. Added 1inch spacers after this though to clear the snorkels and get more stability cause all the added height made it quite tippy. - Cass
@@MainvilleATV that's awesome!!!! Her ride looks bad ass and definitely love the tires yall went with. Bout to order me the same lift for my 2020 kodiak 700. If Possible can u send me link to where u ordered urs from?
Dirtylife.ca man, or call in! Their numbers on the website.
@@MainvilleATV what wheel spacers did ya go with?
Does this update (2 inch) cause higher risk of drive shaft harms? Is lifetime going to be shorter compared with standard. I mean because of remarkable change of each drive shaft angle? Which are your expeiences?
They don't make enough power to have issues. Never had a problem with this setup, not even close.
I am planning to make deal with Yamaha Finland and buy Yamaha Grizzly with Camso Track set. I had earlier (5 year) Can Am Outlander with Apache Track set and it was pretty good combination with nice behaviour.
Greetings from Poland, nice job, I enjoyed watching and I'm looking forward to the next movies with mounting various accessories for your quads.
Greetings are sent by the team 4wheels, Wioletta and Przemo :)
Thank you!
Y’all need a decent pneumatic impact
I have a Matco, two snap ons and a dealt air. I just dont run the tank unless I need to
Cordless 1/2" dewalt or milwaukee will out preform just about any pneumatic 1/2" gun
I also wanted to know if you mounted all four tires the same size 25 by 10 by 12 or did you just do the standard 25 by 10 x 12 in the back in the 25 by 8 by 12 in the front?
Standard. 10 wide rear, 8 wide front. Honestly 10 wides fit perfect though
Damn good job there didn't look any different than when I mess around with half my toys only difference is you had somebody to put your face on the internet
👍📽 I'm thinking about doing the same thing on my Yamaha Grizzly 700
That's awesome! Not sure if it's mentioned in this video, but we ended up adding 1 inch spacers to help with how tippy it got with the extra 5 inches of clearance from the lift and tires combined. Good luck!
That lift. There is nothing bad u can say bad about lifts on anything. There huge tires. My xmr came stock 29/9/14. But not 9 or 29. Phoned. Bpr. And gave me sports. Roof for my MAVERICK trail 800cc.
Love that lift but it whould be better if was black
