The biggest speaker wins. When you multiply the cone area times the excursion, the largest speaker displaced the most air. Add to that, it was one of the 8 Ohm speakers, so it didn't even draw as much current from the amplifier as the small multi media speaker, or, the 6X9 coaxial speaker. By far, the most bass per watt would be the biggest driver. Actually, this was a good video.
I just subscribed (4 pancakes sake).. I went back in your vids & watched you explore point pleasant.. pretty funny.. I live nearby.. anyway my living room is full of all different speakers from the thrift store so I live this video. .. & I like listening to British UA-camrs prattle on about just about anything anyways!!
I believe the Logitech is reading correct, I got some computer speakers that read 10 too, and i read a Logitech that was 2ohm one day, say they vary greatly, usually 4 or 8 of coarse but they usually never receive more than 5Watts and usually 2 to 3 watts so its impressive that that little one look like it took about 20watt, they usually wouldnt take any more than 7 or so before they hit pole peice.
10:50 This little woofer has the same design as the hk onyx studio 5/6 and jbl boombox 1/2 woofer and also the same design of a 12 inch sub called "norauto ns 12". Perhaps the same brand's driver but used in different sizes for different applications
Can you please tell me how are you powering them up just like that? I have a couple of speakers too and dont know how to power them up, like what you got there?? Are those 2 wires coming out of an amplifier? What kind of?? I am new to all this...

Lol when I saw the cat almost climb in the speaker it reminded me of a video I watched of someone putting a cat on a sub and played music. I look it up and turns out Stoner Mind was the one who did it😂 blew my mind
This makes me wonder, i have the Logitech Z-5500 speakers but ney never move like that. if i touch them i can feel the vibration but i can't see like in the video. any idea why?
Why are some car speakers, that usually go into a door, or back shelf, are designed as if they are supposed to go into a tuned enclosure? They should be designed as an infinite baffle/free air suspension IMO. I recently installed a pair of 6.5" round coax's into the rear side panels of a VW bug. Played some bassy music, watched the cone shake like crazy, but zero audible bass! Nothing below say 200Hz or so. I set the hi pass on my head unit to 150Hz.
Use a low pass not a high pass. If that's actually fine and you got it mixed up cause you said your speakers are shaking, it just sounds like you've wired them out of phase. Change the positive and negative on one of the speakers and see if there's more bass afterward.
@@MyStonerMind420 Hi and thank you for personally responding! Unless I'm really off my rocker, a high pass filter allows freqs ABOVE a cutoff point, and a low pass allows freqs UNDER a cutoff point. So, to kill bass to speaker, you use a HI pass filter. NO, my car speakers are NOT out of phase! What I was saying, is that unless a speaker in in an enclosure of some kind to isolate the front from the back, you will have no low freqs emitting from the speaker. When you install a speaker in a car door skin and throw the panel back on, there is still little isolation and air tight sealing qualities needed to "tune" the speaker. So, IMO, a standard speaker in a standard old car door, or rear panel is useless in responding to freqs
yes that is what the filters do and you did say you used a high pass filter on your head unit. My next suggestion was going to be that you try to seal off the speakers as much as possible. I've fit speakers into my own cars in the past and never really had this issue. I just know wiring them out of phase will achieve the result you've got, as well as fitting them into places that aren't efficiently sealed off. Let me know how it goes man!!
@@MyStonerMind420 WoW! Yer alright I must say! U didn't have to reply again. I appreciate your input though. Again, your suggestion of sealing/isolating the speaker could help, but, in my situation, I'm not worried about lack of bass. I have a small powered sub in "trunk" area that does the grunting. All my regular speakers are band passed to cut off around 125Hz @ 12db/oct. The head unit has fully configurable filters for all speakers, so i need no passive inline filters, which is nice. I got it under control. I enjoy all your efforts in producing fun and entertaining videos! Have a good one!
Wrong each speaker hits different freq due to surface area/power consumption/shape/size so the microphone will still be able to pick up the differences ergo your speakers will try it's best to imitate what freqs are coming out of the speaker he tests

Wire them in series and you get a final impedance of exactly 69 ohms!!

No, they are 40ohms
Wired in series, he would need 170.64 volts, to get 422 watts!(2.47 amps)😎

Awesome video bro as always, I love the excursion;)
Where does the biggest speaker came from ? And it is a full range speaker ?

let me answer your question with a question.
Why do all of DJ Khaled's songs have him saying "DJ Khaled" in them?
Very true. Love your tracks and videos btw!

Yes you need an amplifier and the two wires are positive and negitive you can get a amplifier at a flea market
@@cherablitzremix8284 I have a pair of autobahn 400w subwoofers 4 ohms whats the lowest watt amplifier I would need to get any sound out of them (singularly) roughly?
For 4 ohm it is not good for a normal amp so get a car amp or get a 4 ohm subwoofer amp

You can't put bass on these logitech speaker, they're produced to reproduce medium frequencies, you can damage them when put bass on it
please tell me where you got your amp and how much
well i liked your video just because of pancake :P
