- Thinking on my upcoming Paris trip for my 10th wedding anniversary, I have been thinking about adding a piece of fine jewellery as my anniversary present. In this video I share with you my fine jewellery wish list and the pieces I would most love to add.

My hubs just surprised me with the juste un clou in yellow gold with the diamonds 2 days ago. It was the anniversary of us meeting for the 1st time, 25 yrs ago 😳. I had no idea about this!! He is the romantic one & remembered the date. 💕 I am wearing it on my pointer finger, just like you would do, and it is truly amazing!! I love it! Go for it!! We have the same style (it is actually crazy) and you will love it! Happy (almost) anniversary!!
Hi Amelia how exciting for you, congratulations on your up coming 10 year anniversary. We are approaching 40 years soon. For my 60 th birthday my husband bought me a lovely fine jewellery piece from vca and I bought for myself the small Cartier full diamond pave ring in rose gold and the small diamond juc bracelet with diamonds. My husband and family weren’t that keen at the time, I absolutely love them and wear them every day. Buy what you fall in love with lovely. ❤

Fred is a very historic jewelry brand. He called the shop just Fred without his last name because of antisemitism in France. During WW2, he fought for the French resistance. The vintage pieces are highly valued due to the brand name. I believe it's part of LVMH now and has a totally different character, but still a very cool history to the brand name. The brand is now little known outside of France other than with jewelers who are familiar with highly collectible brands from the past.
Hi, Amelia, Happy Anniversary!! I am a huge jewelry junky!! I love to add fine jewelry pieces, designer and non brand. I feel that one can pass down jewelry pieces through generations. I have pieces that were passed down from my grandmother and mother; not all are designer, but they are fine jewelry. I love handbags too, but, as you know, in some cases they don't hold up forty to fifty years or longer as jewelry. I think that adding a fine jewelry piece to commemorate would be very special and sentimental.

I pivoted from bags to jewelry and there's so many beautiful one of a kind brands. I love the cartier clash and some pieces from the basic designer brands but I've been visiting the jewelry shops in my city and there are just absolutely stunning and hand made pieces. I have a castro smith piece on my wishlist. I also lost a cartier clash ring which I never insured so planning to buy. If I had all the money in the world, I'd buy a piece from Harwell Godfrey or Cece.
I agree fine jewelry is better value and cost per wear. Its a higher price point and more serious than handbags so its takes more discipline to save up for and not buy more handbags. The Bvlgari serpenti with a diamonds on the head is on my wish list

I can’t bring myself to pay that much money on costume jewelry. I have several pieces from VCA, Cartier, etc but for me brands like Chanel are a hard pass.
The Chanel ring that Amelia showed is sold 18k, not costume jewellery.
Chanel has a fine jewelry line and the ring that she shows in the video is from that line
@@thefactanonverba I never cared for their jewelry in general bc I always see the costume jewelry being worn. Because of that I assumed it was all the same and never bothered to really look at anything. I still wouldn’t though for that same reason but good to know!

Thanks for acknowledge guys with sausage fingers . I have wanted so many rings but it’s so hard to find my size ( even when I was at my thinnest) btw the older I get the more I want fine jewelry bc the handbag quality is decreasing among fashion houses so I rather buy something that keeps value.
Love jewellery for special occasions. I have a diamond necklace from my 40th from the local jeweller who made my wedding, engagement and eternity rings. It’s my 50th soon. My husband is buying me a rose gold eternity ring to wear on my right ringer next to my rose gold love ring.
I tempted to treat myself to the matching rose gold love bracelet but it’s so expensive I’m wavering!
I’d also suggest looking at the Cartier clash ring for your index finger as it looks very cool and edgy and the metal is 18k mix of yellow/rose gold …I think I ring or bracelet that u can wear all the time is a much better anniversary piece as you can look at your hands and remember the occasion :P

If it's an anniversary piece, I wouldn't go for lab grown diamonds. Did you think of looking in the diamond district in New York? Maybe you need another trip to NY.
Just wanted to let you know that if you are considering malachite it will dull in time when in contact with water/skin/sweat, it makes it no less pretty (more like green wood) but it won’t be that shiny. It is rather brittle, so if you want a forever piece and to wear everyday I would think twice. I have Bulgari Gelati necklace and sadly malachite has lost its shine within a year 😅
Although we celebrated our 10th anniversary earlier in the year we’re celebrating being together 20 years next week so my husband bought me a second eternity ring, but the juste un clou ring keeps coming on and off my wishlist ❤
To me watches are a much better bang for your buck. They’re going to cost as much as a Chanel bag, but you can use it every single day, and it’s not going to fade, peel, acquire an odor, or stain like a leather or fabric bag. There’s no comparison, really. I guess people have different priorities, but it’s amazing to me that people will spend 5K on a bag but not a watch or 18k gold jewelry. Jewelry will last your entire life. Bags will not.
Watches don’t add much to outfit. Plus the phone is more accurate than any watch

Let's be honest, both bags and jewelry are pretty bad as a pure investment, like you're paying a 1000% mark up on the raw materials, it's fun and who gives a shit about the long term value, no one should buy overpriced things because they want to invest
