@Andy Stapleton, can you please make videos about two topics: 1. In case I want to write a paper for peer-review (based on own data), what kind of tool do I need at the different stages of writing, eg. Writing the introduction, writing the methods, discussion, conclusion. 2. What are the best free to use AI tools for academia. Thank you, keep up your great content!
We have so many academic writing tools available, it's overwhelming. It's hard to know which one to use and when. I can't keep up with all these advancements.🥴
we can try a panel of them and stick to what works best. what worked perfect for me and saved me hours of work and energy was useless to my research body. she found her own tools that work for her. it depend how your brain works and organize information. having this opptions is awesome i wish i had this during my undergrade in the early 2000s my GPA would have been 197 🤣🤣🤣
I would still recheck all references manually. Sometimes those AI tools tell me that my papers are cited by time travelers from the past. Or can I do it ? Refer papers from 2027 or 2035?
Great video! I noticed the change in how you're presenting the AI tools, referring to them as 'Tool 1', 'Tool 2', etc., instead of naming them directly. It's a respectful and clever strategy to keep viewers engaged. Keep up the excellent work!
i like the *Inciteful* and the *Yomu AI* tools. The farmer looks a good shortcut to find out which papers are useful for your research. The latter sounds just like Copilot but instead of coding, it works for text drafting. I am going to check this out.
Yes and also i read some articles in Reddit that some universities stopped using it because it gives false detection and actually that happened to me too,@@Ajab_dunia
May be it is under maintenance to catch up with other powerful Ai that challenged it lol. Turnitin was beating 3-0 last December and they sacked their manage to avoid relegation 😅
... I started to watch Andys videos to make my research process "more effective"... now I watch them just for entertaiment. I dont even care what Andy is talking about. I beilive Andy could read NY phone book from cover to cover and video would still be interesting :)
It makes me wonder if this AI needs to print it all out. Why not have an "electronic" paper that just has the words and options selected on your AI along with its IP address to generate the text? This way the user of the paper gets a more compact document that can be customised, for example along with your preference settings on each AI ,the reader might further set a global preference of "make it concise" which tunes the text it spits out to customise it for the reader.
@@sirmclovin9184 The amount of determinism would be under the author's control, e.g. if the author of the paper wanted to specify the length of citation then the length becomes deterministic. The rest of the content should only improve over time so the paper would be like a wine, improving with age.

Thanks for the tools, but kinda a dick move to not link the Tools' links in the description. I know you want to make people watch the whole thing, but wasn't nice anyways.

Totally agree!
And all the money we need to subscribe for them. I mean how many apps can I pay for. I’m a broke student.

I discover something new each time I visit your channel. I appreciate your incredibly useful contents.

Interesting tools. Thanks Andy

At this point in my research I play your AI videos in the background for comic relief
Thanks 🙏
Hey mate, liked the modem sound, you're awesome ;-)
What happened to the Turnitin AI detector? Is it Disabled? And what about the universities that stopped using it?
AI score option is not showing for last couple of days

I believe it would work better if you included the links in the comments.
Thank you, Andy! Do you know any AI tools that help with scientific diagrams and sketches? For example, to turn a napkin sketch into vector graphics.
Please tell us how to use AI tools to narrow down articles for literature reviews
Bro, where can I get this T-Shirt😂?
I made it myself! Bought the fabric from a fabric store. I'm pleased you like it!
Yeah, it sounds original
@@DrAndyStapleton Thought about dropping some fancy pro academic merch? Might wanna think about it :d
kindly upload one video regarding bypassing AI detection using gpt4 Promt
Are there any tools out there that help with marking essays??

It’s not deterministic.

Could not find smartsearch?
Where are Retraction Watch Database (Crossref), STM Integrity Tool, NISO KBART & NISO MECA? 🤔

Did you know that the hair on your head is upside down?
You searched for male grooming! ( or hair transplant) ! :)

Can you tag me ? Make my day bro 🤪☺️
Listing the tools anonymously in the comments is very user-unfriendly. Rethink why you are doing that.
More boring and super precise = academise
