Warcraft 3 was the zenith of that age of gaming and those cutscenes, holy shit, it was so special. Just having that story told in this way that does homage, damn, everyone involved is a fucking legend, all the love and support and success for this project
I've been writing and pitching the youth and fall of Arthas, and the rise of the Lich King for a while! Two difficulties I found, which introduces a third, is this (1. balancing setting up the story as told in Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, 2. the parallels between Arthas and Illidan, 3. devolving the story into a mere retelling of Warcraft, either the entire story or simply Arthas' story) 1. Setting up Arthas' character requires very little. As demonstrated in Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. It takes but a few minutes to set up Arthas as a sovereign son, overly eager to not only mete out justice, but also vengeance. Yet in a show, would you want or need to see Arthas at numerous stages and ages of development? Do you start off with some pivotal moments, without making it feel contrived as it almost did in the book (Rise of the Lich King)? The parallel between Arthas making a mistake and having to deal with the consequences when Invincible, his favorite horse, sustains an injury, and Stratholme feels important. So does him training with Wrynn and Muradin, important characters, one of which does appear in the original WarCraft 3 campaign. Yet WC III: Reign of Chaos already did it perfectly: it told Arthas' story, making him a fan-favorite. Do we need younger Arthas foreshadowing his drive for justice, means justifying the ends, going through and beyond to meet himself, trusting himself to know he'll be a better person for it? How do you portray that, and was the Warcraft 3 campaign not enough? Who is to say what adjustments, additions and ablations are right to satisfy both audiences that have and haven't played and experienced these stories before? 2. A second difficulty translating Arthas' quest is the beautiful symmetry in Arthas' story and Illidan's (sacrificing anything to save your people and planet, tapping into the powers of the very thing you swore to destroy in order to do so). Do you somehow write that in? Do you not need a way higher budget to parallel the stories, portraying both? It would be incredibly ambitious, and the chances of getting it right, which is essential, grows slim. 3. The third then introduced, alluded to in the first difficulty, is that the show would be a retelling of the Reign of Chaos campaign, supplemented if not diluted by the book Rise of the Lich King. By doing so, the parallel between Arthas, Illidan, and the Orcs and even the Night Elves becomes apparent. SPOILER: They were manipulated by a force they did not even know that existed. Why would you not tell the entire story of Warcraft 1-3 and the War of the Ancients at that point? Just as the story comes together, the three points do. It is really difficult to write a show worth watching if you're not able to tell the entire story. I myself even thought that simply telling the story of Eitrigg and Tirion would be better as an isolated story, only to run into similar issues... But simply said, the Warcraft universe is not an isolated story. It's too well-written for that. Arthas' journey has the most potential, but not showing the parallels between him and Illidan, and by extension, the entire Orc and Nigh Elf races, feels like such a loss. It truly is difficult to translate Warcraft into a story worthy of any grand network's audience. As I said, Arthas has a lot of potential, especially if Falric and Marwyn are there (for writing purposes, consolidating them into a single character would be best... but even that feels like a bit of a bummer, even creating a hurdle out of a solution). Having those former champions of a lost kingdom chastise the champions of Azeroth would be amazing. ''The children of Stratholme fought with more ferocity!'' Disgusting and beautiful, harrowing.
I love how you portrayed the story as dark and scary, can't wait to see Abominations as well. Also, good job with the voices, they are really authentic (W3 wise).
As someone who played the original WCIII, I love this. The story of Arthas' fall is one near and dear to my heart. I loved the game as the story expanded. This is beautiful. I can't wait to see more of it.

@mostafamorad660 Hey bro, thanks so much for reaching out 😊 I'm doing good, I've been quite tied down with work over the last few weeks and am still in the process of figuring out the best way to create the Arthas series going forward. If I'm completely honest with you, I've been spending my free time training to up my skills whilst also waiting for some new developments within the tech space which will allow me to create the series the way I envision it in my head. I will be making the series, I'm 100% going to do it, I'm just unable to give a strict timeframe since there are sooo many factors involved. I will take as much time as needed to make it polished and up to standard. I promise I'll keep you informed on the progress 😊
This looks absolutely amazing! Why hasn’t Blizzard made this movie?!?!? This would be HUGE!! It’s literally one the story from Blizzard that EVERY fan has been and still is waiting to see on the big screen. I can’t wait to see this even though it’s not blizzard made. COME ON Blizzard WAKE THE HELL UP AND MAKE WHAT THE FANS WANT TO SEE!!!
He's my favorite character in the entire series of warcraft, Please for the love of The Cult of the Damned do it; make this entire series a damn thing, make it so please. Show his uprising, show his downfall, show him become the lich king, and then his defeat. Show him taking frostmourne up, make this series insane dude!
Would be awesome to see a legitimate animated film in the world of Azeroth by Blizzard. They've done some amazingly well animated cinematics for their games I am amazed they haven't gone further into actually making something bigger.
I thought this would be one of those mashups of cheap random AI generated images, but this was surprisingly good. The atmosphere and style was very consistent. A dark horror take on Arthas' story would work very well as a live action series.
Oh man, I got chills watching this. After the release of the Warcraft movie some years ago, I had always hoped it would lead into Arthas's story, and, eventually how he became the Lich King, much like Anakin's story showed how he became Darth Vader. This looks amazing and I wish you nothing but the best of luck in this! I'm subbing to see how this goes.
The day that Blizzard gives Arthas redemption is the day I'll have hope again. 😞 Until then... RIP to one of the best characters/storylines in the game. Great job on the trailer 😊
my son, the day you posted this, every corner of the world whispered the same, thank you! from the first time i helped thrall release his brother and travel to another continent to helping kaelthas to rescue illidan and rise of the lich king, every choice every sacrifice was to see this moment, to watch your work
I wish Blizzard would sign a deal for the Ice Crown Arc, have 4 individual series even on netflix or prime following each faction throughout the Arthas and Lich King Arc, have Arthas Cameo periodically in each and have those series finales meet in an actual Mainstream Blockbuster Movie Release. The viewer base would get the Cannon and story updates that CANT be described in an actual cinematic movie due to time constraints or the erroneous pause between trilogy type cinematic releases where viewership and satisfaction are sacrificed. Something where each fan base can be awarded the time to view at there own leisure and truly enjoy given the amount of raw story that is required to absorb throughout the telling of Arthas and his journey to the Ice Crown itself absolutely Dwarf's "Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter" combined. They did purchase a film site for the Warcraft Movie itself and noted the time retraints to actually deliver the motion picture was near impossible in a 3 hour installment, 4 individual 40+ hour installments leading into a 2-3 hour finale would definitely go a long way at Blizzard currently given the processing speed of A.I and CGI engines at 4-8k résolution time spent on individual séries would more than pay for themselves for an incredible revenue gain. I really enjoyed this fan made upload, cheers to the artists.
You know how many og fans are desperate , bro ? Do it ! Shock blizzard with your creation and avenge prince Arthas' murdered legacy ! For so long we needed justice but still did not find it (believe me , these words are coming out from deep tragic experiences). Experiences that we all hated the most .
This is the expansion I wish we had for Warcraft. In a single stroke, Blizzard could have saved the entire franchise. Rant aside, great trailer! I await the full release with hopeful anticipation!
Let me buff this video by writing lyrics of the holy song (I play a troll mage) "Mor Ok Gorum Pala Ah'm, Ravali Ah'm." Alas, I've lost a part of myself...
This is asbolutely amazing!, already better than majority of what weve already seen, We already feel more emotionally connected to Arthas within your 3 minutes than we ever did with Blizzard for god knows how long,.., they really did him dirty in shadowlands and I have a feeling it really is not the last we will see from him, he will come back!
@sh3bby668 Thank you for such a massive compliment, I truly appreciate that. I do feel like a little bit of an imposter right now but I'll do my very best to deliver something up to standard 🫡😊

So cool, amazing, keep up the great work and thank you for doing this!
@zildoghunter no worries 😊 thanks for the support!
Magnifique ! Continue comme ça 👍🏻

Man if only a billion dollar company could come up with such an idea. Great work 👍
@Frost640 Thanks so much 😊
If we dont get a full,3 part movie franchise made like this about Arthas,im gonna lose it.
ARTHAS DID NOTHING WRONG
just can say magnificent 😮😮😮 thanks alot 🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊✊✊
Holy shit.. this is epic.
@user-ui2uf4rd9g Your too kind 😊
WOW 😮
He's my favorite character in the entire series of warcraft,
Please for the love of The Cult of the Damned do it; make this entire series a damn thing, make it so please.
Show his uprising, show his downfall, show him become the lich king, and then his defeat. Show him taking frostmourne up, make this series insane dude!
@WR4ITHGAMING Yes sir! I'll do my best 😊
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
The story of Arthas is very similar to the story of Darth Vader! If a series about Arthas is released, it will be the best series of all time!
I just fucking came my pants. Yk understand how fucking happy and emotional this got me
Blizzard should fund and provide you to make a masterpiece out of this.
@MrFrozenorb I'd love that 😊
Oh daaaaamn, I'm in love with your Arthas. Please keep on going and all the best wishes and greeting from Germany.
@Val2004 Thank you so much, your support means a lot 😊 Greetings from Australia!
Send it to asmongold
@juromravec2485 Please help me haha, I tried sending through my last Arthas video but it never reached him.
Why though?
@@camerontang9303 try direct donation during stream or just wait, I think it will get to him eventually.
Ai generated movies yaaay..!!
Send it to people who actually appreciate Warcraft, not asmo
Blizzard needs to give us what we want we 👏 want 👏 a Arthas series 👏👏👏
This is how i imagine Arthas looks!!
Ooh!!!!! Cannot wait!!! I am so excited for your hardwork to be praise by me and everyone else in here.
Edit: I am subscribe to your channel now.
Holy sht that was a Blizzlike trailer... ❤
Arthas is a victim, blizzard did him dirty XD
Would be awesome to see a legitimate animated film in the world of Azeroth by Blizzard. They've done some amazingly well animated cinematics for their games I am amazed they haven't gone further into actually making something bigger.
I never knew I needed this so much... Activision clearly doesn't have the Vision.
Here I thought Netflix or someone came to their sense lol. Great job!
Im in! Awesome, got a tingle down my spine! :)
Nice work dude!!!
@anotherwarcraft Thank you :D
THIS WOULD BE EPIC...
THE ARTHAS MENETHIL SAGA
ACHES TO BE TOLD CINEMATICALLY.
Menuda locura de animación, MUCHÍSIMO ÁNIMO Y A POR ELLO! 🥹🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉
we deserve this show
This looks absolutely amazing, I can't wait to see more.
I allways wanted to play a holy paladin in WoW healing tons of hp and smaking with a hammer sounds good to me!
I thought this would be one of those mashups of cheap random AI generated images, but this was surprisingly good. The atmosphere and style was very consistent. A dark horror take on Arthas' story would work very well as a live action series.
Make him more like warrior. He look like gay model from Zara. Eyebrows like supermodel... Make him look more like man who fight the scourge.
1:35 Thats how Paladins in Warcraft universe looks like .. They are not just wariors .
@override83 Thanks so much for that, much appreciated 😊
Love from France good job man this is Amazing 👏👏👏 for Azeroth for Lordaeron 👌
la France on est là xD
@@AlexCombes oui 😁😉
Please DON’T stop!!
@Zampieriz Yes Sir! 🫡
The day that Blizzard gives Arthas redemption is the day I'll have hope again. 😞 Until then... RIP to one of the best characters/storylines in the game. Great job on the trailer 😊
my son, the day you posted this, every corner of the world whispered the same, thank you! from the first time i helped thrall release his brother and travel to another continent to helping kaelthas to rescue illidan and rise of the lich king, every choice every sacrifice was to see this moment, to watch your work
By the holy light! I felt every second as the hyppest thing could happen as movie this decade.
Just a flicker of what could be but never will be 😢😢😢
if blizzard won't do it, AI will. Keep up the good work man!
god
imagine Sean Bean as Uther
this would be so fkn sick... not sure who id cast as arthas tbh
Henry Cavill could be great and he is such a WoW fan too
You know how many og fans are desperate , bro ?
@RylanVG Thanks so much! I'll do my very best 😊
I served only the frozen throne just can say magnificent 😶😶😶 thanks alot 🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊✊✊✊✊
Please keep up going and continue this series, it's amazing and I hope one day some network television find u to make it for real..
@aAresa2 I'll keep it going don't you worry 😊I get a true sense of satisfaction and enjoyment in creating these.
Let me buff this video by writing lyrics of the holy song (I play a troll mage)
"Mor Ok Gorum Pala Ah'm, Ravali Ah'm."
Alas, I've lost a part of myself...
Henry Cavville as Arthas would be perfect. Why has not been done yet. This Trailer was pure fire. Perfect❤❤❤❤
It all is generated in AI, impressive.
Another great video! Maybe Blizzard should offer you a contract..
@wrathofthelichking-knz Thanks for that :) haha that would honestly be sick.
@@camerontang9303is this AI generated?
@@BrenleysageYeah this is, it was easy to tell but its still good content regardless. I mean i would watch it because i still love warcraft
This is absolutely wonderful and well done. I could watch every episode of this. You do need to pull the spoken out of the background music a bit more, it's a little hard to hear at times (even with my headphones). But that's the only thing I can even come close to criticizing. Can't wait to see more (and yes, I hit Subscribe)
Hit like there is no tomorrow guyz. Let the blizz see
