I'm a professional photographer and my work truck that I've used for years had the Check Engine Light come on. I had an OBD Scan done that came back with me needing to replace my Catalytic Converter.
I watched a bumch of videos online about how to fix my issue as I really didn't want to dump thousands of dollars in repairs into a 2009 Kia Borrego with over 200,000 miles. But at the same time, it's a very reliable vehicle and is fitted for my photography roadtrip needs. So I didn't want to give up on it either. My tags expired last month so I had to make a decision.
After watching the Cataclean vidoes online with a bumch of promises I got some hope that it would work for me. But the issue was that I still didn't see anyone actually taking it in for a smog check to see if it would help their vehicle PASS SMOG.
So I decided to buy a bottle of this stuff and make a video to see if it would work for me and share the results with all of you. I normally do photography videos but thought if I was going to do this process anyways, why not film it since there are a lot of people out there trtying to figure this out as well.
PLEASE note: if you have a rotted out exhaust system or it's dragging on the groundf this will not work for you. Cataclean is meant to clean out the carbon deposits in your exhaust system, as well as give you better gas milesage.

HAHA thank you. Anybody with money will tell you it's not avout how much you mnake if you can;t control what you spend. I use this truck to save the miles on my other rides. But I appreciate the humor and the support.

@@kalef1234 the story of life. All of us pay to save money in the end. Painting a deck to avoid replacing decayed wood. Paying for our teeth to be cleaned to avoid a cavity, gingivitis, … . Paying for a tree to be removed to avoid it falling on our house. If I could avoid paying for a new catalytic converter for another couple years by spending $26, I’ll take it!
