We need some settings videos regarding the Resin and Print settings for some popular printing software like lychee and others. SO many failed prints.

Love your videos, always so informative. I have gotten 3 anycubic photon mono x after watching your videos on them, they are great printers and have yet to have a single problem with any of them

I noticed you didn't even test the clearance by gently pulling the paper. what if it's too tight? too loose? how do you guage that? every single person will unscrew those two bolts more or less. which will create a different z distance. how does one account for that in your opinion?
Test print after levelling... If there's a prob relevel...
I've had my saturn s for nearly a year with a number of mix results.
These results may be my fault, I am not certain. Even presupposed files fail at times.
I recently had to do a software install, as my tft screen was unresponsive, but thanks to elegoo it is good heath.
The only down side for me is not being able to see your print until it is like 50% done. I know I can pause, but I have had failures when that happens
I had a few probs with my saturn until i tweaked the settings - I changed bottom exposure to 37 secs and added thick supports at 70% - seems to work better but not perfect - ive applied these to the S - se we will see what happens :)
Hi mate wonder if you can help me i have this model and im struggling at the moment , had a few good prints but then eveything has started failing , have you got a pic of the setting i should be using

Best to unbox it first then set it up ;-) sorry i'm a smart arse lol. The filter is ok but you cannot buy the replacement charcoal blocks from Elegoo. Tighten the front nut first the the right side so they say.
My rooks had a 50% fail on my S2 8k and Mars 2 pro.
Did you leave the screen travel protector on the LCD? thought I saw a sticker near the usb port going over the LCD?
i took the protector off the screen - it just had the one with a sticker saying remove , in the video i remove it slowly ...it s almost sensual LMAO, good advice re the front nut first - i didnt realise there was an order to it , that sticker your referring to says dont remove the black strips i believe :)
Way to many Saturns out there these days, Saturn, Saturn S, Saturn 8k, Saturn 2 8k, Jupiter next I reckon. And like you mentioned before its always a learning curve and the good thing is you do not come over as an elitist like some do. I made a comment on FB and the dude I commented on came back asking if I thought he was stupid as he had been printing for years blah blah blah.
Real people make mistakes and learn from them and to be honest you don't make any (or many ;-)) and its fun to see what you do and very intuitive.
bless ya - lovely thing to say - I think anyone who thinks they know it all really has a problem - what I love about this hobby is how we all help each other out - its a great community. I don't mind criticism, i welcome it as its how we learn just don't like people who are rude with it..far too much of that going on in the world as it is ..Ah id love a Jupiter - reason I went for the Saturn S was cost - simple as that, my budget was less than £400 maybe one day ill be flush enough for a big un but the NHS don't pay us in gold bullion....yet ...:🤣🤣, thanks for taking the time to comment as ever - it really is appreciated 😁

ive got a question, i have never use a 3d printer/ resin printer before. what happens to all of the left over resin in the basin once the print is finished?
You continue to use it and just either add to it or put it back in the bottle if you change colour or make 👍
had my saturn s for a while just use the same settiing has my saturn but i use lychee find it better than chitubox i dont use level card i level mine to the fep

For the Saturn 2 8k even Elegoo say don't use the card as its wrong so I used 2 A4's and then everything printed.

@@greedy3d480 my prints come out great happy with my Saturn s only issue is the touchscreen froze but get a file from elegoo up and running in a few seconds I could not find a magnetic plate so I got one what just a bit smaller been using jayo and sunlu resins they have been working well for me I use a Samsung tab 10" screen protector for my LCD works well and had saved my LCD a few times.
