Does this device capture the party chat? For instance I saw you were playing Fortnite and that you were talking to your friends on there. Can that audio be incorporated into the capture card?

I just recently picked up the Bridge Cast X(which is a fantastic piece of gear by the way) and as I’m sure you know, it comes with it’s own capture card. The problem is that it only passes through 4k and 1080 at 60hz. Hence why I’m looking into the Avermedia joint. I had a Mypin HDMI 2.1 before the Bridge Cast, and returned it not knowing the full specs of the Roland. My question is, since the MyPin and the Avermedia are the only 2 of it’s kind right now from my understanding: barring all the software features of the Avermedia, wouldn’t the Mypin be a much more viable option given that it costs half of what the Avermedia does and can pass through the same resolutions? Just wondering if you knew anything about the Mypin, because there’s literally only one video on YT of it and it seemed like a pretty formidable competitor in this space? Since these are the only two capture cards that I know of right now that have HDMI 2.1 capabilities.

Nice video. Does it record in 1440p 60fps HDR? I have a capture card (Evga XR1 Pro) but it only record at 1080p HDR. Thanks.

Do you know how to fix the audio because mines sound like I'm going in a tunnel or there is an echo.

Hello, do you know if having this capture card will solve problem with obs stutter. I just have one pc and 4k tv with 120hz and vrr but my games runs at 90-100fps so when i record video on obs it makes video stuttering because of out of sync frames, but when i cap my games to 60fps I don't have video stutter anymore... I heard its VRR problem with obs...I want smooth video and want to play on more than 60fps but my videos to be 60 fps What should i do? How you manage to record 120 fps games without stutter? Thanks a lot in advance!

Hello! VRR is the solution here and I had no issues with desync when testing 120fps content. That being said, most of my content was locked around 120 or close to it. I'd have to do some testing. You can totally record at 60fps and play higher than that with this card though. Honestly, a fantastic capture card.

at 4:08 I'm wondering how to get the mic to work on the headset... when I connect the controller and the headset, the mic on the headset doesn't work but if I use a chatlink pro (spliterr) my mic on the headset works using only one 3.5 aux port. Can you help?

    • @DarkenedCyrus

Weird. Your headset is supposed to connect to the capture card along with the controller to have audio go both ways. It’s 2 different connections.

@@DarkenedCyrus Right but when I connect the headset with the mic, it doesn't work for some reason... but if I use the chatlink pro an use only the controller 3.5mm aux oprt, the mic on the headset works.. could it be they removed this feature? as PS5 doesn't do input in? I'm trying to get my headset mic to be used for both ingame chat and also streaming chat, is t hat possible with this capture card? thanks in advance

Totally agree. It is definitely costly, but the features it provides makes it very competitive in the market compared to other cards
