It's amazing how they're able to understand meaning behind Moira's logo progression that's connected to her songwritings. You gotta be deep to know that coz Moira's blessed with so much wisdom in her songs. I love her ♥️ she's very inspiring, and she's a woman of God ♥️🔥
According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apolozing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video

That is actually the CLOSURE they never had in their relationship. That moment is REAL. That never required any acting skills because they were past lovers. 😭😭😭💔
Very Brave Julia and Josh for doing this project for your closure. My heart goes to Joshua for loving Julia so much and unconditionally that even if the pain kills you, "Nagpaubaya ka" You let Julia free and be happy for her. I also admire Julia for being true to herself. To Moira you sang beautifully and with so much emotions your hurting your audience hehehe.. As if you're slapping and stabbing them to the core. Hahaha... Nonetheless it is like a therapy to the dying soul to let go and to let God.
10:54 When Josh said "Take care of yourself", Julia whispered “no, wag mo’ko bitawan” which means 'don't let me go' and then Josh follows up by saying "I need to".
Yeah bro even the guy who played as the priest said that I was unscripted and all the crew members were told to get out of the church so the two could have their moment and it's sad.:(
Their break up is a bad one actually, the girl cheated(yes cheated coz they got caught) with another actor, since they are both celebrities, the girl received a huge backlash up until now, but i think it is a clsoure song coz that scandal happened almost a year ago so many things happened. I even thought the guy he was cheated upon will show up at the end since he was also famous
No she didn’t cheat. They broke up before that happened. They just didn’t publicized their break up. But it became a scandal because they thought that they haven’t broken up yet. But yeah, she never cheated and that’s why in the video, he said that “he wish he could’ve protect her and be there for her” during those moments that she was getting so much hate.
You should stop spreading this rumor. No one knows the truth regarding their breakup but them. You, and all the other gossipers, don’t have evidence of the said cheating issue. You can keep barking if it's confirmed, but since it’s not, you need to shut up.
Kaya nga sinabi ni Joshua na "pinapatawad kita". Dahil may ginawang hindi tama yung babae. At halatang pinatong lang yung linya ni Julia na "pinapatawad din kita" para kunwari pareho silang may mali.
The girl had a cheating issue with another actor and she was bashed bec of it.. thats why he said he didnt protected her cuz hes hurt too..she said she want him to be happy as well cuz shes seems happy now with the other guy..
They are real life couples before and there was a time that josh has been accused or rumored that he cheated julia but julia defend him quickly but apparently they broke up and when julia got a movie and his co actor became the third party rumor that she cheated on josh by her co actor... and then the whole nation accused her, bully her for something she didn't do... and joshua just stay silent that's why joshua said "I didn't even protect you" he didn't even defend her and he said he got scared that's why they are apologizing to each other and forgiving each other. This music video just make everything clearer from what happen before.
That is their real story. The girl seems like she likes someone else when they were together. That's why "PAUBAYA" it means he is setting her free. He is giving her freedom. That is their closure . They did it by this MV, Actually their story is quite famous back then. This is real
So Real ! 💔 They've finally had their "Closure" 💎 Moira probably convinced these two to do this video.🥺 They're definitely not acting this last dialogue. "To err is human to forgive is Divine.". Glad they've forgiven each other.💎That's the best message of this music video. .
This MV Paubaya is composed of Moira de la Torre, the singer together with her husband. The actor and actress in this MV Paubaya has a real relationship in real life before but they broke up. In short, they are a real couple in real life but because of some mistakes/bad circumstances/ issues in their jobs/in showbiz they didnt last long. One of them Got involved into someone in Showbiz issues, when they are together, the one got scared and the girl cant handle the issues and she keep silent but she is hoping that her BF will be there in her ups and downs. So, this Paubaya MV is both the actor/actress is their first meeting again in this after the long year ago broke up and this MV Paubaya is their closure. This is their own lines in real that comes from their heart, not scripted. Its so sad their relationship as a couple in real life didnt last long. But God will always be there, forgive, find happiness thru him, be thankful and be happy to that person and prayed he/she will be happy too and dont blame each other instead say thank you.. And also u can catch up the word, Julia said, when they hug and she said, Huwag mo akong bitawan, (english, dont let go of me.) And Joshua said, I need to Go". God bless u Sir. Hope u read this. And MV Paubaya has english subtitles also. Paubaya means give up/release of rights. The exes are the actor and the actress in this Paubaya Music Video. They used their real names in this MV.okay. U just want to have someone beside u to something to that person. Their names are Joshua Garcia and Julia Barreto. The Girl ended up with another man. Paubaya means let go
I really feel bad for the guy, you can see he's so heart broken when they broke up. He's alone in the table and all, and other celebs comfort him. I think he's still in love with her. Rumor is that she was going out with another celeb, Gerald. Joshua is actually a good guy, good kid. Plus, he's a really good actor
By the way they are the real couples before,this music video is the only way to have a closure to both of them...there is no script of their conversation
Imagine if they are going to be together again when the time comes. You can see how they love each other. This is the most painful song(MV) I watched in my entire life.
According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl is apologizing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. PAUBAYA means "to leave it to someone" "to entrust" " letting her go". They are real couple in the Philippines, JOSHLIA the loveteam, they just broke up year 2019 because of 3rd party... and this music video are they real closure to each other... the last part the dialogue is so real no script at all.... really so painful... 😭
Facts about this vid the part of them talking are all adlibs no scripts it’s all from their hearts that’s why Efra felt like it’s real because it was real thanks guys for loving Paubaya💕💕💕💕
Let's be honest guys... most of us (filipinos) knew about them from the start... that closure scene is more dramatic to Joshua that we really made us cry. I mean Julia is really... way out of his league BUT Joshua did everything he can, the effort, expressing his sincere feelings to Julia. All I can really say that Joshua did a really good job for their closure, still thanking and respectful to Julia despite for every down fall (emotional) he had after their official break up. I know its also hard to Julia too, but she moved on and already have someone new, so all I can say to her is don't be stranger to Joshua, show business is really hard, specially for you girl with your background unlike Joshua, when came from nothing to what he is right now (correct if Im wrong) so wish you guys find your true and no. 1 person in the mere future... tou guys are still young. Be strong.
joshua and julia actually had a hand in writing their dialogues here and some of the clips they used, esp the ones towards the end were videos when they were still together. i feel like this was a closure the two of them needed :(
I just finished watching Moira's video, then I saw, Waleska's comment, gave it a thumbs up. Now I'm here watching your reaction to it. You, guys, are the best! You, guys, give out most honest and sincere reactions to videos. Much love from the Philippines! * I teared up, watching Moira's official music video. I also did the same watching Wale, looking so sad, seeing the unfiltered conversation between the two ex-lovers. Huhuhu! * Efra, giving his big sister a tap on the shoulder, that's what we all need! Big hugs to the both of you! Oh! To mom and dad too!
Trivia: they were once a real couple. it took one whole year or so before they could face each other again. this was their “closure” song. Josh - that is his real name. The girl is Julia. They also co-wrote the lines of their conversation at the church. even though they’re actors-the emotions were real.
12:01 Double meaning. Direct translation is "im entrusting to him/her" which either gender can related because we dont have words for a person by gender. She was pointed upward which definitely means our father in heaven.
I'm still crying all over this.. my ex left in this world 4 years ago without any closure.. watching their raw emotions having this heartbreaking closure. I really wish I get that... even it hurts I really hope I had another conversation with him and said goodbye properly... PAUBAYA really gave me chills and recollection about how hard for me to let go after all these years. But I really should... letting go and entrusting everything to God.
one of my favorite reactors 🥰 i love how they look into the actual meaning of the song and gave their own opinion about it and we also able to learn about their country's culture how it was somewhat similar to the Philippines.
I’m 35 and watched the music video, Bubs and Doe’s reaction and this one and I cried in all of them. Apparently the director asked everyone to leave the church and let them act based on their own experience, that’s why it was a genuine feeling you get from these two. Been living in Thailand for 15 years so I don’t have any idea who are these people acting, I just found their story through Paubaya.
Fun fact: the crew left the area and the two was only left with the director, and they were told to say what they want to say to each other, nothing was scripted for this part
Well according to the actor that played the priest. The director order everyone to be out, only joshua,julia,director and camera men was allowed. The director says that they can say whatever they want to say to each other. Thats why we can felt the hurtfulness in the last clip of the mv cause its pure from the heart 😓
The conversation of these two were not scripted. That part was authentic. That was unfiltered. They were once a couple. This was the closure they both needed.
Wtf!!! It's been a year since the official MV was released but I never try to watch coz it's so sad.. It is real!!! The ad libs are real.. And today, out of nowhere YOU MADE ME WATCH IT!! That's how I love the both of you!! Good Morning from this side.. Got a puffy eyes though early in the morning 😆😆

they invited and gave chance to the two to say their goodbyes since they had no closure, they just suddenly drifted apart. when all of the people witnessed their love and then gone, we were all left wondering what happened to them. we haven't seen them together for a long time. and here they are...
I think this song of hers is really perfect for her situation right now... And try to listen & react to her new song KUMPAS... If I'm not mistaken, she wrote it while grieving & healing at d same time...
I think they changed the lyrics to "God" just for this MV too. They didn't actually changed the lyrics (to God), it's still the same aside from the change of one letter to an upper-case letter (kanya to Kanya). But they also added some phrases not from the original song as the two forgave each other, mentioned forgiveness. "Kanya" means "him" or "her" in English but the term/pronoun "kanya" is really gender-neutral (I just heard of this recently. I didn't realize this before, or not given it much thought). We don't have a gender-specific equivalent for "him" or "her". We can just say woman, girl etc. Also, because it's Moira who is singing, non-Filipinos would assume that the man/boy is the one who has another lover if there is no English subtitle. Based on the context of the lyrics before this MV, "kanya" means the other guy--entrusting you to him/her. But in this video it's entrusting to God, changing the first letter to a capital letter. Like we capitalize the first letter in pronouns him, he, you if referring to God. Thinking about this, it's just me, I kind of appreciate that our pronouns are gender-neutral. Now, I wonder where our pronouns (siya, sila, kanya..) originated from as we have a lot of loan words or similar words from other countries. If you have info, please comment them down below (or if you are from another country and we have similarities in our pronouns :) Some Tagalog/Filipino pronouns: Ako = I Siya = You Akin = Mine Kayo = You (plural) Tayo = Us Kami = We Sila = They Kanya = Him/Her And about those two. We don't know the whole story so let's just hope for each of their happiness. I wish them well.
I didn’t know the background story when I first saw the video and cried. Now that I know their love story.... I’m ugly crying..... hard!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
when they were shooting the part when they both talked and apologized to each other they didn't have a script to memorize they were just all pure words !!
Thanks for reacting to this MV. Moira is such a great story teller. Kudos to the actors. It's just 2019 when it happened. I can only pray for their complete healing. ❤️
Julia and Joshua were real life couples. But when they broke up they never had proper closure. This MV gave them the opportunity to say everything they couldn't tell each other when they broke up. The lines they spoke on the last part weren't written by any scriptwriter but was directly from their hearts.
They are ex couple and i think this is the closure of there relationship....josh was not there when Julia got bullied by netizen he was the one who give up on her
Just saw your comment on the official mv and I was waiting for this. Thank you for the reaction. Please react to Morissette's Stage Sessions singing Theather songs. Defying Gravity and She used to be mine. God bless you both. 💙
If you would go back 9:12 Julia whispered a phrase "wag mo ko bitawan" it means "don't let go of me" but Josh replied "I need to". So unselfish and matured.
Both had the chance to leave each other at the altar. Both gave way for thier own feelings to Grow. It could be for themselves or for thier new relationship. As always, great reaction and interpretation.👍👍👍

Fck, that's definitely not acting, that's real shit man
Yeah bro even the guy who played as the priest said that I was unscripted and all the crew members were told to get out of the church so the two could have their moment and it's sad.:(
Damn, that's rough man. You can see that Joshua is really in pain and Julia can't look directly to his eyes.
@@Jgurl813 yeah true..
The girl had a cheating issue with another actor and she was bashed bec of it.. thats why he said he didnt protected her cuz hes hurt too..she said she want him to be happy as well cuz shes seems happy now with the other guy..
true.
Yes
gerald anderson join the group. :))
Wait... Are you saying that Julia and Gerald are still on??
@@SwiftieBlink03 maybe.. sila lng makakaconfirm nyan..
“I thought someone was dead, but it was just love that died” 🤣🤣🤣
Joshua and Julia wrote their own dialogue. That's why you can see how genuine their emotions are. 🥺
People who knows the backstory of this music video are much more affected, sweaaar :(((
And The Best Actress Award goes to....
🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
“WALESKA HERRERA”
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Bruh, you can hear Julia whisper "Don't let me go" the Josh "I have to" bruhhh that's harddddddd
By the way they are the real couples before,this music video is the only way to have a closure to both of them...there is no script of their conversation
Thank for this reaction video guys! Keep on supporting Moira's Paubaya Music Video. GODBLESS!
There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.(ctto)
Be strong.
Watching this again. I wish in the next Wish Music Awards Walesa can perform the song "Paubaya" with Moira dela torre live on stage.
joshua and julia actually had a hand in writing their dialogues here and some of the clips they used, esp the ones towards the end were videos when they were still together. i feel like this was a closure the two of them needed :(
True to life. I hope after this closure. Julia can shout to the world how she love Gerald. The world deserve to know how they love each other❤
Kawawang Bea Alonzo. Palaging after thought sa dramang ito. Kahit siya yung inagawan ng bf ng isang Barreto.
The closure that they needed after 2 yrs after break up . So heart breaking 😭😭😭
After i watched that last night...i got so much tears... they're one of the best chemistry in the showbiz industry here...
paubaya literally doesnt just mean "letting go" :but letting go with for the one he/she truly loves. Also means "give way for others"
This is about their closure.. kudos to ms.moira, julia and joshua 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Julia actually whispered "Huwag mo kong bitiwan" (translate: Don't let me go) so that's why he replied "I need to" 😭
Trivia: they were once a real couple. it took one whole year or so before they could face each other again. this was their “closure” song.
Josh - that is his real name. The girl is Julia.
They also co-wrote the lines of their conversation at the church. even though they’re actors-the emotions were real.
Looking forward to your cover Waleska!!!
12:01 Double meaning. Direct translation is "im entrusting to him/her" which either gender can related because we dont have words for a person by gender. She was pointed upward which definitely means our father in heaven.
they wrote their own script and it’s their real closure to their relationship
I'm still crying all over this.. my ex left in this world 4 years ago without any closure.. watching their raw emotions having this heartbreaking closure. I really wish I get that... even it hurts I really hope I had another conversation with him and said goodbye properly... PAUBAYA really gave me chills and recollection about how hard for me to let go after all these years. But I really should... letting go and entrusting everything to God.
one of my favorite reactors 🥰
i love how they look into the actual meaning of the song and gave their own opinion about it and we also able to learn about their country's culture how it was somewhat similar to the Philippines.
It is when your smiling bcuz you can feel the love they both shared, suddenly cried for that closure.
I was avoiding their music video because I know it would make me sad and then I saw you guys reacted to it and now IM CRYING😭😭😭
Its cute seeing efra hold back his tears 😂
Fun fact: the crew left the area and the two was only left with the director, and they were told to say what they want to say to each other, nothing was scripted for this part
They are real life couple, well not anymore,. This MV is all about closure. And this is not scripted...
Well according to the actor that played the priest. The director order everyone to be out, only joshua,julia,director and camera men was allowed. The director says that they can say whatever they want to say to each other. Thats why we can felt the hurtfulness in the last clip of the mv cause its pure from the heart 😓
I can clearly see the pain in Joshua's eyes! 💔🤧
The conversation of these two were not scripted. That part was authentic. That was unfiltered. They were once a couple. This was the closure they both needed.
Julia looks gorgeous even if she's crying.😭
Out of all the PAUBAYA mv reactions that I've watched, your reactions we're the most real and sincere 🥺 ..
Joshua is a great actor! That must have hurt to shoot. Congratulations to both.
One of the coldest line ever .. “I’ll give u everything but I run out off it”.
I really like Efra's natural swag. You're such a dope artist dude.
Wtf!!! It's been a year since the official MV was released but I never try to watch coz it's so sad.. It is real!!! The ad libs are real.. And today, out of nowhere YOU MADE ME WATCH IT!! That's how I love the both of you!! Good Morning from this side.. Got a puffy eyes though early in the morning 😆😆
she got so many content that you can react too as well
According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apolozing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video
credits to the person who commented this.
When Waleska said " They're the right person at the wrong time" ackk i felt that.
they invited and gave chance to the two to say their goodbyes since they had no closure, they just suddenly drifted apart. when all of the people witnessed their love and then gone, we were all left wondering what happened to them. we haven't seen them together for a long time. and here they are...
I think this song of hers is really perfect for her situation right now...
And try to listen & react to her new song KUMPAS... If I'm not mistaken, she wrote it while grieving & healing at d same time...
I think, the four songs of Moira: Patawad,Paalam, Patawad, Paalam and this one Paubaya, are for her Winter album.
If you have info, please comment them down below (or if you are from another country and we have similarities in our pronouns :)
Some Tagalog/Filipino pronouns:
Ako = I
Siya = You
Akin = Mine
Kayo = You (plural)
Tayo = Us
Kami = We
Sila = They
Kanya = Him/Her
And about those two. We don't know the whole story so let's just hope for each of their happiness. I wish them well.
I didn’t know the background story when I first saw the video and cried. Now that I know their love story.... I’m ugly crying..... hard!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
that heartbreaking moment was really not scripted, actually, the two was given that time to have closure for their break up
when they were shooting the part when they both talked and apologized to each other they didn't have a script to memorize they were just all pure words !!
Julia left Josh for Gerald Anderson :( It's sad.. this is sad. they were perfect together. until Gerald came.
I did not watch this coz i cant take moira's songs after my break up but came here after i watched Wale's cover.. Aaaaahhhh i love it so much..
Efra and Waleska, if you like this kind of stuff, I suggest you react to Jollibee commercials in the Philippines. They are truly heart wrenching.
Thanks for reacting to this MV. Moira is such a great story teller. Kudos to the actors. It's just 2019 when it happened. I can only pray for their complete healing. ❤️
If y’all know they real life love story , This music video would hit y’all harder
Julia and Joshua were real life couples. But when they broke up they never had proper closure. This MV gave them the opportunity to say everything they couldn't tell each other when they broke up. The lines they spoke on the last part weren't written by any scriptwriter but was directly from their hearts.
They are ex couple and i think this is the closure of there relationship....josh was not there when Julia got bullied by netizen he was the one who give up on her
when you cheat you are the one who gave up first. on the relationship
Yes indeed
Emotionally convincing because its a true to life closure of them both.
Just saw your comment on the official mv and I was waiting for this. Thank you for the reaction.
Please react to Morissette's Stage Sessions singing Theather songs. Defying Gravity and She used to be mine. God bless you both. 💙
TRUE TO LIFE! GOOSEBUMPS!
its a real story of their love , its really hurt for Joshua coz he still love the girl ,they brokeup coz of third party
What third party?
@@tokkiwon meaning theirs other guy involve{ gerald anderson}
Trio daw kse HAHAHA
If you would go back 9:12 Julia whispered a phrase "wag mo ko bitawan" it means "don't let go of me" but Josh replied "I need to". So unselfish and matured.
THEY ARE EX-COUPLE AND THEY MADE THIS FOR THEIR CLOSURE
BTW THEIR DIALOGUE IS IMPROMPTU
Both had the chance to leave each other at the altar. Both gave way for thier own feelings to Grow. It could be for themselves or for thier new relationship. As always, great reaction and interpretation.👍👍👍
