Moira Dela Torre’s new song “Paubaya” has left fans feeling a sense of melancholy yet again. Her song depicts the feeling of letting go someone dear to you. In a straight forward translation, “paubaya” means “to entrust” or “to leave it to someone”. Meanwhile, in Moira’s song, it means to entrust somebody you loved to another person. According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apolozing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.

Letting go doesn’t always or only meant to let her/him be with someone else sometimes you let go to a person because you both want to grow more, be matured and learn to love yourself and be a better person. Because either your relationship is not healthy anymore or things don’t work out as you used to be. Letting go can be your love ones, family, friends, workmates, your job, a place or an object. The mv is really hard to watch 💔 They've broke up 2 yrs ago. And they've been kinda silent about their break up. It's nice to see for them to have a closure like this.
We Filipinos love to make our relationship to our partner be in public. Simply, because we like the feeling of our partner is proud to us/we are proud to them. We want to share to everyone our deepest love to our partner. ❤ I have a boyfriend for 5 years and all my friends and coworkers know about it. I want my boyfriend to feel the deepest love I have for him. 😍
The two celebrities featured on this video were an actual couple in reality. She unfortunately cheated on him with another actor when she was filming a movie. If you do some research, you’ll understand their story in relation to this video. The scene in the church wasn’t scripted. It was said that the director had the staff go outside the church. The only ones in the church during the filming was the two celebrities, the singer and the director. The director told them to say what they wanted to say to one another. Those were their true feelings and true to life words they didn’t get a chance to say to each other before. This was their closure. This was his way of letting go and her way of apologizing. This was their way of acceptance.
Their" THANK YOU" has a lot of different meaning actually FOR JULIA, Thanking to Josh for setting her frèe, for letting her to go and for forgiveness. FOR JOSH, Thanking Julia, means for their shared memories, for choosing him to be part of her life and for letting him to know the truth. And saying Thank you means alsoof GOODBYE.

Lol only some not lot
We supported them when they became couple and still even if it hurts we will still support them individually 😭😭💜💜
How beautiful the fans are too..🥺 I wish we had that culture in Korea too
@@SylviaKim Celebrity/idols have their own private life as well and we don't want to make them feel choked. Because a true fan is not a dictator of your idol's happiness.
Yeah I'm sure have a beautiful fan in korea with a heart. Thank you, I'm grateful to receive a reply from you 💜💜💜
Paubaya is like giving up so that your partner will have a better life, like that. In the story its like, they are giving up the relationship for better, like they want it but it doesn't work
Filipinos are brave and strong. We do what we want, we love who we love, even actors. Thats why fans here can never dictate an individual/actor. Scandals are sure scary, but Filipino actors conquers them all.
According to the actor who played the priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene ‘which is julia apologizing’ the director ask almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the director, the two actor and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn’t have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There’s no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think that’s the reason why this hits so hard because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.
The mv is really hard to watch 💔
They've broke up 2 yrs ago. And they've been kinda silent about their break up. It's nice to see for them to have a closure like this.
IM NOT HEART BROKEN, BUT MY HEART IS CRYING BECAUSE OF THAT SONG AND THE MESSAGE OF JULIA AND JOSH😭
Paubaya means " Giving to" or
"letting Go". For someone can't Love you back anymore and falling for someone else.
The moment joshua bend and propose julia already crying and when they hugged, u can see the sadness in their eyes😢😢😢
There's a third party , that may be the reason why they broke up.
Paubaya when used in a relationship means letting go, or giving freedom to the other person.
This is a Closure moment for JOSHLIA.. they need this closure once and for all.
Julia Barretto is Pure Filipino. The Barretto Clan is known to be good looking people here in PH showbiz.
We Filipinos love to make our relationship to our partner be in public. Simply, because we like the feeling of our partner is proud to us/we are proud to them. We want to share to everyone our deepest love to our partner. ❤
I have a boyfriend for 5 years and all my friends and coworkers know about it. I want my boyfriend to feel the deepest love I have for him. 😍
She's pure filipina.and the last part has no script, and it's like their closure
"Paubaya" means letting go of the person you love even if it hurts you (I think that's what it means)
Kumain kana?
There's one korean, a kpop singer rather, and its Ailee, her latest mv "When we were Inlove" is somewhat similar in this mv, hope u could react to it
When "thank you" also means "goodbye"
Julia is pure Filipina
Paubaya means letting go.
If you really love them, you should let go and wish them happiness.
"you're the one I need but not the one I love" that really got me😭
The two celebrities featured on this video were an actual couple in reality.
She’s pure Filipino in a sense. But maybe she descended from Spanish settlers many generations ago. Her clan “Baretto” is very popular here.
it started from " i love you" and ended to "im letting you go"
julia is pure filipino her mother and father are truly filipino both .hehee she is just made very pretty 🤗❣️❣️
I love koreanas I remember when a koreana help me carry my bag koreanas are really kind 💜💜
Their" THANK YOU" has a lot of different meaning actually
FOR JULIA, Thanking to Josh for setting her frèe, for letting her to go and for forgiveness.
FOR JOSH, Thanking Julia, means for their shared memories, for choosing him to be part of her life and for letting him to know the truth.
And saying Thank you means alsoof GOODBYE.
well said
Julia said "huwag mo kong bitawan" but there was no caption for that line.
Julia said "don't let me go"
And josh said "I need to"
I feel the genuine reaction not the "I'll react this vid bc it's Trending at mag rereact para magkapera"
6:54 Sylvia can relate, she Choked up
What's make this MV trend is the fact that their break up is really controversial and the relationship they had was really genuine, so having this MV make the fans really emotional as the emotions shown are real😭
Both of them (Joshua and Julia) are pure Filipinos. "Paubaya" is a Tagalog word that could mean "to give way"
Hi i just want to share that in the part that they are exchanging lines it has no script at all it's all true and it came from there heart 😭❤️
"Paubaya" means letting go for something... You love him/her but he/she had someone else so you have to let him/her go for the sake of his/her happiness.
The part where the music stops were all impromptu. There were no script at that part..... it was just words pure from their hearts😭
Its not just about letting him/her go , but the song also means to entrust everything to God .
Yeahh..!! True!!
I really missed you two together in a vlog 🥺
React to Sandara Park's "KISS" performance on PinoyBoyBand

React to sb19's new single "WHAT❓" plssss
julia and joshua wrote their own script for that MV. ♥️
I really love the COLLABS between Sylvia and Jessica 😍😍😍 wish to see more collabs between you two. I'll support you guys 😍😍😍✨✨✨✨💐💐💐
Actually the reason why they broke up is that the girl fell in love with another guy. :((
Dude stop with the misinformation it's Jealousy
Nope. They broke up before that
the truth is c julia has a new boyfriend 3rd party that's y they broke up...
and because of that MV now they totally confirmed that they are together with budoy... hahaha
Hiwalay na sila ni Josh, bago nagakasila ni Gerald.
I laughed at "paw-paw" HAHAHAHAHA lmao
HAHAHA 😁 creativity out of nowhere LOL
Omg Ate Sylvia replied. aaAAaHhHH~~~😵
But "paw-paw" in Ilocano is not good to hear HAHAHAHA
Madi ata kabsat HAHAHAHAHAHA
@@SylviaKim please react BGYO The Light MV
Everytime i see this MV cant help but be sad for Joshua , that i dont think he didnt deserve the pain ,but realized that god takes away people so you can be with a better one n the right time..
Julia is a pure Filipina. I laugh when these two Korean ladies were so worried about Julia's make up when she sobbed on Joshua's black suit. Filipinos usually wear very light to no make up at all 🥰 some celebrities are even using only powder. ^^ So don't worry too much hehe And usually Filipinas don't wear make up at all because of the weather in the PH.
Julia is a 100% Filipina? But, ofc, Barretto's have this aura/awra that you can sense that might have (them) foreign blood but it's no, her (Julia) parents are both filo.
“paubaya” means “to entrust” or “to leave it to someone”. Meanwhile, in Moira’s song, it means to entrust somebody you loved to another person. (c) google HAHAHAHA
lol, no. What she meant is to entrust everything to God. Look at her hand gesture at the end of the song.
@@MyKoreanNotebook don't take that gesture out of context... Why would you make "Paubaya" ur ex to God? What's the point?
@@MyKoreanNotebook also look at its lyrics "wag ka paluhain at alagaan ka niya" why would u say that to God when God will never harm u? Make sense? Rofl
@@theodoreperez3483 You have to entrust her to God because you still care about her despite the break-up. That may God lead her to someone who won’t make her cry and love as much.
@@MyKoreanNotebook I think that was too way out of context I suggest you watch its lyrics analysis... 😁 M/V is just M/V but the meaning of the song is another topic
There’s a third party which could be the reason of their break up. Search the name Gerald Anderson, also an actor.
Hey, that's not true. They broke up before that.
too nosy lol
That's an official closure and there was no script. It was spontaneous. The director let them express their true feelings and put closure in their relationship.
I just remember how Josh cried over the break and now he's finally letting Go.
