I have a cat. 0 on my 445. I want the option of a cat 1. My plan is to build removable extensions for the draw arms to make them cat. 1. What I can't find is the length of the limited lift cat. 1 arms. Would you give me a measurement please? Thanks Jody.
They all have approximately the same lift power... if I was buying a hitch I would get either the Deere OEM Cat 1 limited or the Ruegg Cat 1 limited. You will need front weight if you want to put a lot of weight on the 3 pt.
Hey mmrbeef, love your videos. Reference them on a regular basis for my own maintenance on my 318. I installed a Ruegg cat 0 hitch a while back. Here's some clear video of it in use and me making some adjustments. I also have some other videos of the 318 lifting some heavy stuff with my boom lift. ua-cam.com/video/0dtch3A-Y7k/v-deo.html
A 1 bottom plow would be worth getting vs the potato plow. But it looked like you were having fun. Look up PA Plow days. There are smaller tractors plowing right along with 430s and Cub Cadets about that size. I'd like to go to one with my restored 430.
Well I have been informed! Great info
That explains a lot. Quite helpful. Thanks,Jody.

Good video! I have recently purchased an x595. and am considering which 3pth kit to install, One question I have is which has the most lift power?

what is the best 3 point hitch for my 316 ?
Generally I point folks in the direction of a used OEM hitch or one from Reugg Manufacturing. Both are good units.
