You have so many fabulous ideas! I like the idea of printing out colorful games, etc, but I only have a black and white printer.
Any suggestions on a good color printer that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for colored ink?

Great question! As you said, it's really the color ink that gets expensive! In past years, I've had good results with using an HP printer along with their subscription service called Instant Ink. You pick the # of pages you print per month and pay a reasonable fee...they ship ink automatically when you're running low. You can print full color and use as much ink as you want and it still just counts as "one page."
I've had the older version of this one: amzn.to/4bS52Xv and it comes with 3 months of Instant Ink free with printer purchase.
I currently own an arm-and-leg laser printer 😭 (this one: amzn.to/3LjbbkE) As printing things has become a more integral part of my business I decided to make the investment. It prints beautifully and dependably but it is an INVESTment 😂 But for many years the cheaper HP model served me very well.
