Loved watching you create and I also love working on Yupo (especially adding PanPastel for bits of color to my B&W prints)….I use a reposition-able stencil spray adhesive to hold down Dura-Lar when I want to ink edge-to-edge…it really works well without having to mask the edges with tape.
That was really cool seeing the progression from practice prints to your more composed final print. I'm such a fan of one-colour images and yours, as always, is gorgeous. That piece of honeycombed cardboard is a texture-making dream. Thanks so much, Marta.
Bonjour à toi merci pour ce partage! Spectacular as the dishwashing liquid glycerin film allows the ink to be released in large, very economical quantities
My copy and paste and much less clean than your off-topic paper sorry Hello, thank you for sharing this! Spectacular because the dishwashing liquid glycerin film allows the ink to be released in large, very economical quantities
Another fascinating exploration! I'm impressed by (among other things!) your discipline to play around with things in a couple of full scale practice prints before getting "intentional". I'm always impatient and just dive in, probably too quickly much of the time. 🙂
Thank you Bob, I feel like warming up is producing much better outcomes so I think it’s definitely worth. I am also very impatient so I need to really force myself 😅
@@isabeltipple9942 hi there! Different effect. If you are looking for more faded look, this is a nice way to get it. It essence, it’s just one more way to achieve different tones
Thank you again Marta for your sharing. Your you tubes are very inspiring. Just wondering what your circular stencils are made from? And, the dishwashing liquid is not necessary on Yupo? Thanks.
Lovely placement. Lively and dynamic. You work in just the way I would like with a steady, focused studio feel.
@@chrisruss9861 thank you 🙏
I appreciate seeing how you incorporate so many different mark making techniques in your monoprints. I'm inspired! Thank you.
Thank you so much and I am really glad you feel inspired 🙌

So fun and inspiring!! Think I'll be doing some monoprinting next weekend. Will try the yupo paper for sure. ❤
Amazing, hope you have some mono printing joy 🤩
Inspiring, can’t wait to have a try tomorrow
Have fun 🤩
Absolute beginner here…. Why not roll the ink out directly on the duerlar sheet?

Thanks.
Thank you. My little circles are made out of newsprint and yupo seems to be doing just fine without washing up liquid. Happy printing 🤗
I love your process. Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed it. I'm going to try this method on my gelli plate. Thank you again!
Thank you 🙏 I love gelli printing, enjoy 😊
What did you use for the color in the final prints?
Hi there! I actually only used black by akua
Is abstract the only style used in monoprinting or is it just perferable?
You can do anything you want
Hello! A question..can I use felt paper in replacement of blotting paper?
@@MicheleNishikatsu I think anything that absorbs water and doesn’t stain will do 👍
@@CollagraphPrinting ..yes, thank you! Beautiful works!
Brilliant....What weight paper are you printing on, please?.....Thank you ;-))
Thank you, 300gsm
what is "washing up liquid"
In UK we call the liquid soap you wash dishes with, is US known as dishwashing soap
