  • In this video, the last final touches to the wiring and brackets will be complete; I will show you what the final result is and have a little demo of the reverse and parallel parking of the parking assist system (option 5DP); I hope you enjoy it and are having fun watching all the mayhem as much as Iove making these videos for you. If you need help with these retrofits, please don't hesitate to contact me through WhatsApp, Facebook messenger or Instagram; I will be happy to help you with consulting services.
    Please do this at your OWN risk since this installation could injure other people or cars if not done correctly.

    Cool retrofit! Did you get to try the parking assist to parallel park in tight spots?

      Glad you like!!! It was really cool hahaha. Yeah I did try later in tighter spots, it works perfect. I will do another video later when the weather is nice.

    I have this option but just for parallel parking. Used it once to watch the steering wheel move but not since then. Still a cool retrofit through and maybe if your arm was broken or something temporarily

      Yeah it’s actually pretty cool to see it do it by itself, although I have to admit that when I was testing it, it came really handy in a really tight parking spot where visibility was really bad.

    Nice video, I might consider doing this retrofit myself in the future. My 435i looks just like yours except its Estoril Blue (I also have the track handling package with the 19" 442s)

      Amazing! That’s the goal of all this. I love the Estoril blue, wanna trade, hahaha. Subscribe to the channel, so you don't miss any of the fun.

      @@DorksandBolts To be honest I was looking for a car with a red interior, and 6 months later I still wish I had one. I was essentially looking for a car with as many options as I could find. And I've been subscribed!

    Hello brother, thank you so much for your effort for doing these amazing videos for us. I have a 2015 BMW F33 428i XDRIVE , i bought the car accidented , i bought aftermarket parking sensors and i plugged them but it is still showing on my car screen that parking unaided and parking assistance unavailable , after watching your videos i concluded that the siren that comes on the rear right back side is missing and its connector is hanging on the rear right side under the black bracket, do you think it is the problem that is causing the sensors malfunction, knowing that also the front sensors are not working too. Another question ,may the new aftermarket parking sensors require coding to work?
    please help me! thank you in advance and sorry for taking your time and bothering you!

    Thanks, really nice, I've started buying parts👌 do the ABS pulse generators go 1 front driver wheel and 1 back passenger wheel, aren't the cables different lengths? A guide on bimmerpost says both front wheels? Thanks!

    • @DorksandBolts
      @DorksandBolts  Рік тому

      Yeah they have a very tiny difference in length, but what changes is the head of the sensor. I changed the front wheels only.

    Hi again, Isn't your F32 pre LCI and the PMA2 are LCI modules? What module are you using and did you have to edit manufacturing date and vehicle type in the FA?

    • @DorksandBolts
      @DorksandBolts  Рік тому

      I am using pma2 and no, I left the FA as the same, somehow it worked

    How did you know where to drill the holes in the rear bumper for the sensors?

    • @DorksandBolts
      @DorksandBolts  Місяць тому

      Depends of the bumper, in msport; you have marks (looks like a cross, same as in the front) in the normal bumper there are no marks, and you kind of have to make your own using the bumper bracket.

    • @JPDenali
      @JPDenali Місяць тому

      @@DorksandBolts I have the M Sport bumper. So even if it is pre-LCI, the marks are already there?

    • @DorksandBolts
      @DorksandBolts  Місяць тому

      @JPDenali on mine they were there, very faint though, also pre-lci. Also if you have the bumper brackets and the sensor holders, you can place install them temporarily and transfer the location on the bumper. Also another thing that I did just to make sure the marks were right; I scouted a 4 series to measure the distance from all 4 corners. Yes, you will look like a maniac measuring a bumper in the middle of the road.

      @@DorksandBolts Sounds good. I just did Surround View and saw the crosshairs for the front parking assist sensors as well as the camera crosshairs. If they're there, that should be good enough
