Try telling all those Grammy winning mixers and producers still using Waves that their plugins suck. There seems to be an elitist attitude towards what gear one uses which really has no relevance since it’s how you use a product to your advantage that makes the difference. Your comment has also been applied to Plugin Alliance, Arturia, Native Instruments and on and on and on…. Oh well!
Many different plugin companies do amazing plugins theses days. And almost each has very good plugins between some less good. The good atittude is not to blame one and praize another but use the best we found from different companies. For my case I only have 5 or 6 waves plugins but I like them a lot especially bass rider wich has no counterpart.
Thanks for this Colin! I have Silk but haven’t tried it yet and really like the clipper recommendation - tried some that I don’t love. This year I got the Slate All Access subscription and then late in the year they added SSL Complete to it for 🆓! This has replaced most of the Waves stuff I was using before and there is more here than I can use!
